Just like the first contract, it took Suri more than a week to come to her final answer. This one took her about almost a month to finalize everything.
Kris was starting to lose hope, and he had been stressing over things lately, especially when him and Nara are fighting over this matter.
When Kris told Nara about the situation, she handled it badly. She literally dumped him on the phone “I’m breaking up with you!” and hanged up.
Kris sighed on the phone, he didn’t take the breakup seriously because he knows that Nara has a short-tempered, and she’ll come back to him no matter what and will pretend that nothing has ever happen.
‘Bear a child? His child? In me? A proof? For his parent?’ Suri paced around her room, she’s seconds away from having a panic attack.
“What the hell were you thinking Suri?” She questioned herself over and over again. Suri would sit down for a second and then get back up on her feet and paced around the room.
She was doing a good job in avoiding Kris by staying in her room the whole time he’s home, and she’d make sure Kris was already in his room before she goes to the kitchen.
“What am I going to do now?” She grabbed the closest pillow on the bed and buried her face in it, and screamed “Help me! Anyone!”
Once she was done screaming, a set of knock echoed throughout her room. Suri froze, her grips on the small pillow tightened.
“You okay in there?” Kris asked. Suri immediately sighed out in relief and quickly human audible-assuring respond that she’s fine.
‘He has sets of horrible mood swings more than I do.’ Suri crinkled her nose in annoyance ‘One second he’s nice and sweet, the next second he looked like he’s about to choke you to death.’
“What is wrong with this guy?” Talking to herself for the time being was the only way to keep herself sane from any insanity. Well, it’s the only way since she has zero friends, and she doesn’t trust Kris (kind of).
It was quiet outside, but his shadow was still lurking in the space of the door. “Who are you talking to?” He questioned.
Suri mentally facepalmed ‘Great! Now he’ll think you’re stupid or something.’ Rolling her eyes for herself.
“Uh…No one.” She said, looking around the room. ‘Why are you looking around the room? You’re the only one in the room idiot!’ Arguing with herself was another way to put that brain of hers to work.
She could hear Kris humming an awkward okay. He was still in front of her room. “I-Uh-Just wanted to tell you that my family is stopping by in 5 minutes.” He said.
