Smiling has now been normal to Kris and his employees, but not beaming. Beaming just took it to another level of his employees getting worried.

Is it their lives on the line or work, or something else was about to go down? They don’t know, but what they know is that this beaming Kris is not normal, at all.

It scared the crap out of his personal assistant, Lia, as well. Does that mean someone’s getting fired? She thought.

“Lia!” Kris called from inside. Her heart was beating a mile per seconds; she grabbed her notepad and pen and entered the door to her fate.

Kris was still beaming as he typed on his laptop. “Yes sir?” She asked, almost stuttering on her words.

“Have you had your breakfast yet?” He asked casually. Lia froze and paled at the same time “Uh…Y-Yes.” Her hands started shaking.

Kris furrowed once he noticed it “Why are you shaking?” Lia’s eyes rounded in alarmed “What? Oh-Uh, I’m not.”

He eyed his P.A suspiciously and realized that she had went pale, and laughed once he figured out what must’ve been running through her head and everyone else’s mind.

“I’m not firing anyone.” Lia sighed inwardly once it’s out in the open, Kris chuckled “Is it that odd that I’m this happy and everyone is assuming that someone is getting fired?”

Lia laughed nervously “No…” Kris narrowed his eyes “Okay, yes.” Lia answered.

Kris shook his head in amusement “I’m not getting anyone fired, period.” He smiled “But I want to treat everyone breakfast though.”

“Oh~ Okay.” Lia smiled, jotting it down on her notepad. “Called in the McDonald food truck, order for breakfast for everyone in this building under the Wu’s company name.” Kris said with delight. {a/n: idk if McD food truck exist tho :P}

Lia smiled as she wrote this down “Got it! Anything else sir?”

Kris shook his head with a smile “Enjoy the breakfast. Thanks Lia.” Lia bowed leaving Kris’s office and called in the caterer.
 

By the time it was evening, Kris was excited to get home to where his wife is (he felt right saying it now). On the way, he decided to give her a call.
