{Chapter 64 - Excited} (E)
Suri [COMPLETE]-------------------------------------------
The next day, Kris came over to pick Adam up and sent him to school. Afterwards, he took a day off from work and took me shopping around New York.
I don't know what he's up to, but whatever it is, I appreciated it that he took his time off work. Right after he spoiled me with a day of shopping spree, we went and get Adam, and headed out for lunch.
Kris had gone all out and spoiled both of us for a smile on our face in return. His words, not mine. Instead of fighting like we used to, we were actually having fun, and I was actually an genuinely smiling at him as of now.
"You had always looked so pretty when you smile." Kris complimented whilst tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear. And I don't know how, but I managed to blush.
We were now, spending the rest of the day at the central park. Adam squealed in excitement, he couldn't stop beaming.
Both Kris and I were practically happy at the sight of our son looking so content.
In the spur of the moment, Kris and I had accidentally held each other's hands. We quickly pulled away when Adam giggled, "You guys looked very cute together." Both of us glanced down and saw how our hands had intertwined. I pulled away first, clearing my throat to get rid of the awkwardness in the air.
We pretended that it never happened. We let Adam play at the playground not far from us while we sat down at the bench nearby.
"What is Cooper to you?" It was all silence until now. I sighed to myself, "He's just a friend. If it makes you feel any better, he's dating someone. So, calm down." I never had any sort of feelings towards Cooper.
I noticed how Kris had smiled to himself from the corner of my eye. He's probably mentally jumping in joy at the moment. I rolled my eyes, such a typical thing for a guy to do, especially your ex.
"Su?" The way he called me still gives
