warm and cold*THE NEXT MORNING*
Suyoung's POV :
I was tired yesterday that I immediately went to bed after taking a bath. I woke up extra early as I am going out with Jihye today. Jongin was still sleeping as usual. I was touched when he comforted me yesterday. He sounded genuinely worried but I couldn't help wondering does he know the whole story? I wouldn't be suprised if he already knew because he might've asked Chanyeol oppa or Baekhyun oppa about it. I took a bath and started cooking some scrambled eggs with bacon and some coffee. As I was busy cooking, I suddenly felt a pair of arms sneaking around my waist and sleepy-husky voice, "Morning.." I let out a chuckle and said, "Morning sleepyhead. You woke up quite early today." He then nuzzled his face on the crook of my neck and I think I felt him sniffing me. "Are you sniffing me?" "Did you shampoo-ed your hair?" "Yeah. Does it smell good?" "Uh-huh. What are you cooking?" "Scrambled eggs and bacon. Are you okay with that?" "Yeah." He sounded really sleepy and I glanced at him, if he could, he would be sleeping while standing. "Jongin, go back to bed. I'll call you later when it's time to wake up. "Im good. I'll go and take my shower." "Okay." After he took a shower, we were having our breakfast and talking about our daily stuffs. Jongin was complaining about his paperworks and about lazy employees that he wanted to fire. "Well, you should fire them if they don't do their work but just give them another chance and if they screw it up then you should fire them." I advised him and he agreed. "So, what time is Jihye coming?" "Umm about 9 o'clock." "You're going shopping? Do you need some money?" "No,no. Im good." "If you want me to fetch you, just call me okay?" "It's okay. Jihye said she'll send me home. You just do your work okay?" Jongin hesitantly nodded. He's so protective, it's cute to see him like that. As he was ready to go to work, as usual I fixed his tie and he said, "Take care of yourself later okay? If there's anything wrong, just call me okay?" "I will. Don't worry! It's not like this is the first time Im going out with my friend." "If you want me to fetch you just call okay?" "Jongin, I'll be fine! You have meetings today with different companies, I'll be okay!" When he was about to get in the car, he told me again, "Take care, okay? Remember to call me if you're in trouble." "Jongin, Im not a kid. Don't worry too much!" "I just..." He stopped his sentence giving me a worried look. "You can't be too protective of me you know. Just focus on your work and I'll call if there's something wrong." "Okay. I'll see you later." I nodded and waved him goodbye thinking that he's so protective that it's cute and annoying at the same time. He reminded of Seunghyun oppa when I first started going out with my friends to the mall and he would call me or text me once every hour. He was more protective than dad was. I quickly got dressed and did my hair. I wore this
*AFTER JIHYE CAME*
"Waaaaa~ I miss you so much Suyoungie!" Jihye screamed as she got out of her car. I laughed and gave her a hug. "I miss you too!" "So, are we all set?" "Yup! Let's go!" In the car, I told her about what happened during lunch yesterday. "That jerk had the balls to even talk to you? Who the hell does he think he is?!" "I literally froze when he talked to me. All those memories just came back." "Yeah..I get it but you have to stay strong. You were strong enough to forget about him. You were just caught off guard because he bumped into you." "I guess. Thank god, EXO were there. Jongin was kind of scary for a moment." "Of course, he's protecting his girl hikhok" "You're teasing me aren't you?" "No, Im not." She giggled and said, "Im just happy to see you with the right guy. I really do feel you both are meant to be together." I just smiled shyly, she saw it and teased me. "AIGOOO~ YOU LIKE HIM SO MUCHHH~" "Stop before I pinch you" "Okok~ calm down~" We spent the whole day shopping and took silly pictures together. We had so much fun but it was cut short when Jihye got a call from her mom saying that Jihye needed to go home straight away due to some problem with the coffee shop. "Ugh, Im really sorry!" "It's okay, Jihye, we spent half a day together." "Im really sorry, I'll drop you off first okay?" "It's okay, you're in a hurry anyway. I'll be fine." "Are you sure?" "Yeah. Go. You'll be late." "Will you be okay?" "Im fine. I'll just walk." "Okay. Sorry! I'll call you okay?" I nodded and waved her goodbye. I was walking back when I used the shortcut and I felt like there was someone following me. I walked faster and decided to walk even faster. "Lee Suyoung." That voice, isn't that? "Minjoo-ssi?" I said as I turned around and she gave me a weird smile but I was having a weird feeling about this. I texted Jongin saying "Jongin, I need you. Help-" I didn't get to finish because all of a sudden someone held me from behind and someone was covering my mouth with big piece of handkerchief and I felt sleepy. I heard footsteps coming closer and Minjoo's voice, "What do we have here? Planning to tell Jongin? That won't happen. Not on my watch ."
