“OMO! You saw it right tae-tae? You saw it right?” Tiffany jumped up and down whilst her hands were holding Taeyeon’s arm.

Taeyeon just nodded her head and smiled at her eye-smiling princess whose eye-smile didn’t fade from the moment Nickhun smiled at her up to now. It’s nice for Taeyeon to see that eye-smile but it hurts her knowing that she’s not the reason behind those eye-smiles.

“He looked at me~~~ kyaaaah! He looked and smiled at me. I would’ve died on that spot” Tiffany continue to rant on and on about Nickhun and the way he smiled at her. She turned to looked at her best friend who becomes quiet all of a sudden. “Tae?”

Taeyeon looked at Tiffany, obviously she spaced out without her knowing it. “Hm? What?”

“Are you okay? Why are you quiet?”

Taeyeon showed her dorky smile then shook her head. “I’m fine. I think I’m just tired”

“Awww~ my tae-tae is tired” Tiffany cooed. She let go of Taeyeon’s arm but then wrapped it around the older girl’s shoulder pressing Taeyeon’s body closer to hers. “Since I tire you. I’ll be you servant tomorrow”

Taeyeon let out a tired chuckle. “Why does that sound odd?”

“What?” Tiffany asked innocently.

“The tire part? Why does it sound odd?”

Tiffany thinks for a moment whilst Taeyeon let out her ahjumma laugh. When Tiffany finally catches up, she hit Taeyeon’s arm. “Yah! ByunTae!”

Taeyeon’s ahjumma laugh echoed along the hallway of their hotel room. “I’m not a byun you’re the one who thought about it. I wasn’t thinking about anything”

“Tch” Tiffany rolled her eyes but she didn’t let Taeyeon go. Taeyeon’s warmth is too comfortable for her to let go. “You’re lucky you’re my best friend. I won’t judge you even if you have a byun mind”

Taeyeon let out another loud ahjumma laugh as they stopped in front of Taeyeon’s room. “I don’t have a byun mind. You’re the one who thought about it”

Tiffany playfully stuck her tongue out to Taeyeon as she made her way to the room beside Taeyeon’s. They were both holding on the door’s knob waiting for each other to enter the room. Their gaze was locked with each and they have smile on their faces.

“Pany-ah~ you should go in and take some rest”

“Tae-tae don’t you want me to sleep with you?” Tiffany bit her lower lip. “I mean. I can take care of you. I think you’re not feeling well. You look pale”

Taeyeon showed a small smile and shook her head. “I’m fine pany-ah~ I’m just tired. I know you’re tired too so just rest. I’m okay. Goodnight~”

“Goodnight” Tiffany said dejectedly. She watched as Taeyeon entered her room. When she heard Taeyeon’s door closed, she frowned and pouted then entered her room.

“Stupid Kim Taeyeon for taking two rooms” Tiffany irritatingly mumbled as she throws her bag on the bed. “Why does she have to take two rooms? Is she hiding something from me?! Heck! I also have what she has~ so what’s the point of taking two rooms??”

Tiffany sulked after she flop her body down on the soft mattress. “Stupid Kim Taeyeon”

Inside Taeyeon’s room

Taeyeon had her face buried deep in her soft mattress. Her right hand is clutching onto the bed sheet while her left hand is clutching onto her chest. Her face has a contorted expression and sweat trickling down from her forehead. Her breathing is ragged and uneven.

“Ah–*pant pant*” Taeyeon let go of the bed sheet only to rip her shirt off just above the chest part.

“Ahhhh!!” Taeyeon screamed but her screamed was muffled for she buried her face deep in the mattress.

Taeyeon’s two hands were now clutching on her bare chest. Hoping in this way, the pain will go away. With her remaining strength, Taeyeon took out her phone from her pocket and dialled someone’s number. After a couple of rings someone finally answered but the voice is different.

“Hello?”

“Je–Jessie–sica”

“Tae is that you? Sica is not here. She’s in the bathroom”

“Yu–Yuri–” Taeyeon had a little difficulty talking and the person on the other line seems to know Taeyeon’s situation.

“Shh…don’t talk buddy. Can you walk?” Yuri asked and Taeyeon slightly nodded her head like Yuri can see her. But it seems that the Yuri knew that Taeyeon nodded. “Okay. At the right side pocket of you bag, your sling bag, I put your medicine there. Go and take it. I won’t hang up”

Taeyeon is feeling a little okay now but the pain is still there but nonetheless she can slightly walk and with baby steps, she went to her sling bag which was just lying on the chair. She opened the side pocket and her medicine is indeed there.

Desperate times calls for desperate measures. Taeyeon took two pills and swallowed it without water. She stayed immobile for a couple of seconds when the pain finally subsided, she went back to bed where her phone is lying and Yuri is still waiting on the other line.

“Yul are you still there?” Taeyeon is now able to talk clearly and she’s no longer in pain.

“I’m here buddy but you must prepare. Guess who’s beside me”

Taeyeon let out a sigh. “Hello Sica”

“Don’t hello Sica me!” Taeyeon moved the phone out from her ear when she heard Jessica’s voice on the other side and it seems that Jessica’s mouth is directly at the phone’s receiver.

“Sica–”

“DIDN’T I TELL YOU NOT TO GO?!”

“Sica look. It’s just for a couple of days. I’ll be back before you know it”

“A COUPLE OF DAYS?! KIM TAEYOEN YOU’VE BEEN AWAY FOR THREE DAYS!!”

“Sica please don’t shout. You’re making me deaf” Taeyeon spoke calmly whilst the person on the other line is raging.

“Baby please…” Taeyeon heard Yuri on the other line pleading to the ice princess she calls girlfriend. “Don’t shout at Taeyeon. She just had an attack earlier don’t make have another whilst talking to you”
