Yuri was walking along the halls of the school. Her hands are tucked inside her pocket as she made her way towards her room. She dramatically changed her attitude since she stopped bothering Jessica. Yuri happened to pass by the lockers. A blonde haired girl caught her attention. Unconsciously, Yuri stopped on her tracks to stare at the girl.

Feeling that someone was staring at her Jessica turned around only to find a pair of longing and sad black eyes. Yuri quickly turns away her gaze from Jessica and started to walk again. Jessica just shrugged her shoulders and opened her locker. There she saw another rose inside.

It’s already been a week since she started receiving flowers from an anonymous person. At first she wanted to change locker with someone else because she thinks someone is stalking her. After few days Jessica’s admirer left her with a little poem. Jessica found the poem sweet and cute so since then she always look forward in going to her locker. Jessica picked the blue rose up and she found a letter underneath it. She then started reading the letter.

As Jessica reads the content she can’t help but smile to herself. She pressed the letter to her heart. She doesn’t know why her heart flutters in just because of a simple words coming from a complete stranger.

“Good morning Jessica...” Taeyeon suddenly popped out of nowhere, scaring Jessica.

“Yah! Don’t do that! You nearly gave me a heart attack!” Jessica slaps Taeyeon in the arm whilst her other hand was clenching on her chest.

“Mianhe Jessica… I didn’t expect to see you spacing out. You didn’t even notice my presence… whatcha doing? Another rose and love letter?”

“Uh… Yea… how did you know?” Jessica asked curiously.

“Rumours have wings… they fly from ear to ear. You having an admirer is really troublesome for other student in this school.” Jessica made an ‘o’ face. She expected nothing less from the mean studetns who kept being mean to her. While they were in the middle of a conversation the bell suddenly rang.

“Don’t worry about it Jessica… I bet your secret admirer will not let harm come your way. We have to go to class now… see you later…”

“Oh… okay… thank you Taeng…”

Taeyeon and Jessica bid goodbye to each other and head the opposite way. Taeyeon kept walking and walking. She took a quick glance behind her. When she saw Jessica completely out of the halls, she ran as fast as she can. She then turned to the corner where Yuri was waiting patiently.

“Seriously? Letter and rose? Can you be more creative? That’s the oldest move in the book of love.” Taeyeon scolded Yuri as soon as she saw the tanned girl.

“What do you want me to do? I don’t know anything about this kind of things…” Yuri quickly defended herself.

“Well... at times like this you have to ask your heart and----”

“Just stop with the riddles and give me a straight answer woman!” Yuri playfully raised her voice and shook Taeyeon’s body vigorously.

“Y-yah! S-s-stop! I’m getting d-d-d-dizzy… woaw!” When Yuri stopped shaking Taeyeon, she then started to wobble and have to lean on the walls for support.

“What do I do taengoo? Do I have to keep hidden behind the name anonymous forever?” Yuri is in panicked mode. At times like this she really, really needs Taeyeon’s advice.

After her little promise to Jessica, Yuri wore a mask for Jessica and the world to see. So every time she’s in school. Kwon Yuri, the formal and proper daughter of the President is the one going to school. Not Kwon Yuri the dorky, prankster girl but if she’s talking to Taeyeon alone, her dorky personality returns again.

It was just a masked specially made for Jessica. Even though Yuri promised Jessica that she will stop bothering the girl. She vows to make Jessica like her that’s why she’s doing all those romantic stuff. She decided to hide behind the name anonymous for she was sure that Jessica won’t accept her gifts if ever the blonde girl will know whom it came from.

“I got it!” Taeyeon snap her fingers and a bright smile spread across her face. Yuri’s face lit up as soon as she saw Taeyeon’s smile, a smile that tells that she has a plan or an idea. Taeyeon drag Yuri to their favourite hangout place, in other words, the garden behind the SM High.

TaeRi were at their hangout place the whole entire day. They kept on exchanging ideas on how to make Jessica like Yuri back. They were too caught up with their planning that they forgot to attend their class. They got back to reality when the bell ring indicating that it was already dismissal.

“Yul remember… you should not stop. Next week change your style and the week after that change it again. Just keep changing your styles alright? So that she will get curious and wanted to meet you personally. When that time comes we will match it to the school’s anniversary and from then on we will think of a better plan… got it?” Taeyeon reviewed their plan again before separating.

“Got it… change style every week… we still have three weeks before the school’s anniversary. Can I really do this? Will she like me after this?” Yuri asked worriedly. The thought of her hiding behind the anonymous name still made her a little uneasy.

“Kwon Yuri let me ask you one thing. Are you in love with Jessica?” Taeyeon asked with one brow arched up and a wicked smile.

“I-I don’t know… I like her I guess… does having butterflies in your stomach and sparks running inside your body when you two touched counted as love?” Yuri asked innocently.

“Uh-uh… It doesn’t count. You can call it as crush or liking but it’s not definitely love…” Taeyeon gave Yuri a sly smile. The tanned girl just nodded her head in understanding.

“Then I don’t love her? I just like her?”

“I’m not finished yet Yul… BUT… but when you got thru all this trouble for the sake of one girl liking you, then it’s definitely love. You’re in love with Jessica, Yul…” Taeyeon patted Yuri’s shoulder. Yuri just smiled and nodded her head like a kid.

“I am… I am in love with Jung Jessica and I want her to like me back even if just friends.”

Week 1

Just after taking her lunch Jessica immediately rush to her locker but was sadden when she didn’t find any rose or letter. She weakly walked towards her next class and took a sit at the far back. It was a lazy afternoon. Jessica was already in class. History to be exact, it was a boring lecture but Jessica wasn’t sleeping at all and it made the professor really puzzled but he decided to shrug it off. Jessica was staring blankly at the window. She’s thinking about her admirer.

“Excuse me sir?” the class was interrupted when some delivery guy knocked on the door. All the students’ eyes were on the guy on the door including Jessica’s.

“Yes young man? Can I help you?” seongsaenim asked the guy.

“I’m looking for Ms Jung Jessica? Is she in this class by chance?”

“Yes… there she is… you can give it to her. Judging by her state... I think she won’t move for another 20mins or so.” the seongsaenim pointed to Jessica who was now looking at the guy with wide eyes. The delivery guy took the liberty of entering the room. He was carrying red velvet rose nicely and neatly arranged to form a bouquet.

“Ms Jung special delivery for you.” the delivery guy handed the flowers to Jessica. All the students inside the room remained astounded including Jessica. The only people moving were seongsaenim and the delivery guy. Jessica remained stiff so the guy just gently placed the flowers on her desk. He gave Jessica and the seongsaenim a bow then he left.

“Wait… who gave this?” Jessica asked before the guy leaves.

“It’s anonymous.” The guy just smiled at Jessica.

Jessica felt something on the guy’s smile. The smile was like telling Jessica that he knows who the sender was but he wanted to remain silent. She respects the guy’s loyalty to the sender and decided not to ask another question. Jessica was just staring at the velvet rose.

For the whole one week Jessica kept receiving velvet roses. The time was all random but one thing Jessica notices. The flowers will come if Jessica was in the middle of the class or everywhere that has many people. Like the sender was doing it on purpose for the whole world to see. Although Jessica thinks its sweet she can’t help but wonder who the person behind the anonymous name was.
