“Fine! Have it your way then!”

An angry chocolate haired girl stormed out of the room pushing away the two person who just entered.

“Whoah~” the smaller between the two stumbled but quickly regained her balance. She furrowed her brows when she saw the familiar figure of her friend. “What was that Yul?”

Yuri let out a sigh and shook her head. “Don’t worry about it, Taeng. It’s just Sica, being Sica” she shrugs.

“Is this about the field trip?” their other friend pulled a chair and sat in front of Yuri.

Yuri inhaled deeply and slowly nods her head. “Sica can’t come, Tiff. Her parents will arrive that week. She doesn’t want me to come as well. In fact she asked me to fetch her parents with her”

Taeyeon, who had already pulled a chair to join them, look at her friend worriedly. “Then don’t come to the field trip” she said nonchalantly. “I have Tiffany with me, Tiffany has me. Jessica has no one with her, except Krystal that is”

Tiffany nods her head eagerly with Taeyeon’s words. She reached out and patted Yuri in the back. “If it was me she ask I wouldn’t hesitate to agree”

Yuri let out a sigh. “But I made a promise. And I don’t go breaking promises”

“But its Jessica” Taeyeon spoke earning Yuri’s attention.

So what if it’s Jessica?

Like sensing Yuri’s internal question, Taeyeon added. “Your best friend since you were in diapers. I wouldn’t mind you breaking your promises for someone you have known your whole like. If it was others I would be pissed but its Jessica”

“Jessica did say about Krystal joining as well” Tiffany added. “Maybe that’s the reason why she doesn’t want you to go because she has no one”

Yuri let out an inaudible sigh and let her head fall on her desk with a loud thud. She felt a stinging pain on her forehead but she ignored it. Taeyeon is right, Jessica is her best friend since forever but that doesn’t justify anything. Taeyeon and Tiffany were also her friends –their friends and Yuri gave them her word. Does Jessica outweigh Taeyeon and Tiffany?

“What will it takes to change your mind Soojung-ah?” Jessica pouts and hugged Krystal’s favorite pillow. She’s sitting in the middle of Krystal’s bed while the younger is busy packing her things for the trip.

Krystal stop packing and worriedly turned to her older sister. “What’s wrong, unnie?”

Jessica hid her lips behind Krystal’s pillow. She furrowed her brows and slowly shook her head. “Nothing. It’s just… mom and dad are coming home. Don’t you want to fetch them? Together?”

Krystal playfully narrows her eyes at her sister. “I know you” she left her things on the floor and lay in front of Jessica, using Jessica’s thighs as her pillow. “Yuri-unnie told me about your little outburst earlier. Spill unnie”

Jessica let out a sigh and gently comb Krystal’s silky her using her fingers. The younger purrs feeling sleepy every time she feels her older sister touching her scalp. “It’s just… I’m feeling something wrong, you know. Like something bad is about to happen”

Krystal hums her eyes close as her consciousness slowly slips away. She feels comfortable with the soothing touch only her older sister can give. “And you think that something bad will happen during the trip?”

Jessica shrugs even though Krystal can’t see it. “I just… I just want everybody close to me to be with me you know. You, Yuri, Taeyeon and Tiffany. I don’t want you all to go” realizing that she’s being selfish, Jessica bit her lower lip. “On second thought, don’t mind me. I’m just being selfish”

Krystal slowly opens her eyes and stared directly into her sister’s brown orbs. “Is that the reason why you won’t come?”

Jessica shook her head. “Mom and Dad are coming home. I volunteered to fetch them since you’re going to the trip” she messed Krystal’s bangs and smiles. “I don’t want you sulking because you missed the trip”

Krystal frowns. Now that she thought about it, she realize she was the one being selfish. Jessica, being the good older sister that she is, passed the chance of having fun with her friends to give Krystal what she wanted. “Unnie” she called out worriedly when Jessica slowly stood up and started walking to the door.

Jessica stop by the door and look back. She smiles warmly at her sister. “Finish your packing. I’ll call takeout. Chinese or Thai?”

“Chinese” Krystal answers. Jessica nods her head and was about to walk off until she heard Krystal calling her. “I love you”

Jessica smiles warmly. “I love you too, Soojung-ah”

After Jessica made a quick call to their favorite Chinese restaurant, she decided to stay in the living room to wait for their meal. She decided to watch some random show to kill time. Nothing spike her interest so she decided to watch the rerun of the season 1 of invincible youth. After all it starred her favorite Girls’ Generation member, Kwon Yuri. For Kwon Yuri of Girls’ Generation reminded her a lot of her best friend, Kwon Yuri.
