우린 용원히 (My Forever)
The five of you are calmly strolling down the streets of Seoul as the number of people decreases due to the late hour, which means the people are probably sleeping or rushing their way towards home.
Hoya is walking side by side next to Dahae, which is next to Woohyun and then there was you and Myungsoo. All of you seem to be quiet and reserved in your own ways.
Only the wild gustling of the wind can be heard as well as the blatant footsteps you are making as you paced steps on the dainty road.
You can feel the awkwardness in the air since you are not used to the silent side of those people besides Hoya, because you've known him as a sensitive person who doesn't know when or how to talk first, though he is a very reasonable person, you just need to get through him.
You cleared your throat as you saw an Ice Cream truck. *I want icecream*
You pointed at the truck with gleaming eyes, "Let's eat icecream".
Dahae looked at the truck then her lips. "Yeah! I also want Ice cream" Dahae pouted.
"Let's go!" You held Dahae's hand as you dragged her away from the three guys.
The three guys stared softly at your back figures as the two of you childishly run towards the Icecream truck. The guys hesitantly walked towards the truck and examined the flavor available at the long fridge for the customer to pick.
"Uhmmmm.. I want Cookies n' Cream!" You beamed gleamingly as you looked at the owner of the truck.
"Me?! I want Strawberry. You guys?! What do you want?" Dahae asked as she spun her heels to look at the three boys skimming the right flavor they want.
"COOKIES N' CREAM" Myungsoo and Woohyun declared and then they glared at each other.
Woohyun pouted and then looked at Myungsoo hastily, "I thought you've always like Pistachio? You also suggests that whenever we go to the supermarket".
You looked at Myungsoo, astonished, "Then why won't you buy Pistachio if that's what you want?"
"Uhhh.. Uhmm.. Wouldn't it be great to make a change. I really really want to try this flavor" Myungsoo being caught off guard, scratched his head.
Woohyun just ignored his vague explanation and then focused his attention on the cone held by the vendor. He gently snatched the three cones from his hands and then gave Wonhee and Myungsoo, their respective flavors.
Dahae cocked her head to Hoya's direction and asked, "Hoya-ssi! What do you want to eat? You seem very silent eversince we walked out of your dorm. Is there something bothering you?"
Hoya smiled, "No. You should pick something for me. Any flavor will do"
Dahae scrunched her nose, looking annoyed "Why can't you pick your flavor? Are you bored when you're with us? It's not my fault that you followed-"
"No! It's not that. Please don't think that way. It's just- Nevermind. I'll choose Chocolate" Hoya stuttering, unable to say the right words to say.
Dahae giggled, "Did I caught you offguard with that? I was just trying to get to you. You don't need to be serious about that".
Dahae tapped her chin and muttered, "So you like Chocolate, aye?". She stood straight and then smiled, "Ahjussi! One chocolate Icecream"
Wonhee her icecream and then spun around to wait for the others to get their orders. A certain thing gleamed before her eyes which made her involuntarily walk towards it.
Myungsoo looked at Woohyun, who is busily eating his Icecream, being immersed in its own thoughts. *Hyung! Why do I feel that you are a big competition to me?*
"Hyung" Myungsoo muttered.
Woohyun perked his head up and looked at Myungsoo, "Why?". "Wait! Where's Wonhee?" He cocked his head sideways.
Myungsoo looked at his surroundings. His eyes and Woohyun's met when they realized you're not around anymore.
They started walking to who knows where as they called Wonhee.
Myungsoo heaved a sigh, still thinking where are you right now. *No! She shouldn't just go around through some corners at a time like this. It's way too dangerous for her*
The two both had their separated ways as Myungsoo turned left to the nearby playground and Woohyun just strolled the place since there is a near store by the truck.
Woohyun's eye caught a a glimpse of a bookstore and suddenly had the urge to buy you atleast one book. The reason? He doesn't know. Maybe as a gift or a repay for being there even though he's not the nicest guy in the world.
Woohyun grabbed his wallet at his back pocket when he bumped into some girl holding a plastic bag with the stamp of the brand of the store he've entered.
With his eyes gleaming, "Wonhee-ah! I've been looking everywhere for you".
Dahae held the two cones gave to her and she spun around to realize that she and Hoya are the only one in the area. With no signs of Woohyun, Wonhee nor Myungsoo.
"Where did they go?" Dahae stared at Hoya, confusingly waiting for a relevant answer.
Hoya arched his eyebrow in curiousity and then spun around to look for what Dahae is pointing at, "Huh? I don't know. I haven't seen them left. They were..".
"They were here.. They're just here" He added.
Dahae pouted in diappointment. She traced Hoya's fallen expression and then beamed, "I guess there's just you and me now. That is if you really want to walk me home.. or just one of my sister's-".
"NO! I guess. I'll just walk you home then" Hoya gave Dahae a reassuring smile.
"So...." Dahae started, looking at Hoya's expression. Seemingly a little bit awkward, because Hoya is not Sungyeol, who likes to goof around nor Sungjong, who loves to keep chatting nor Woohyun, who knows how to make a person comfortable. For her, Hoya's description is the kind of 'A man of few words'.
"So?" Hoya's eyebrow perked up as she looked at Dahae's features.
"Do you also like my sister?" Dahae looked at Hoya through her peripheral vision.
"Also? What do you mean also? She's just a girl to any one of us. I treat her how I should treat other girls. Well, I guess I can consider her as a friend. Nothing more than that"
"Well, she's not just a girl to one or i guess to some of you" Dahae couldn't help but scoff. She may be smiling and all but she couldn't hide the insecurity inside of her whenever she sees Myungsoo, being happy and jumpy when he's with her sister.
"Really?" Hoya muttered.
Dahae nodded and playfully dragged her foot to the road since she loves the clacking of her heels on the asphalt of the serene road, "Since when have you decided that performing infront of other people is your dream".
"Since I started to have passion for dancing. I've been dancing since 8 and I guess my passion drived me to quit school and just continue my dream. Good thing, I reached the place that I really want and I will never stop striving for the best because this is just a beginning of my journey. I guess I still have a long way to go" Hoya softly smiled through his words.
Dahae nod continuously being immersed on how deep Hoya is. *Impressing*
Dahae's stares turned into gazes as she looks at Hoya, still playing with her pumps "Really- OH MY GOD! AHH!".
She screamed in the midst of pain. Her heels broke because of her playfulness which lead her to a dislocated ankle. She couldn't describe the pain inside her foot. It's like she broke a bone and she could only feel the pang of pain through her veins. And with her state, I'm afraid, She's couldn't walk for three years. She can limp. But walk? No. Not this time.
"What happened?" Hoya gaped, once he saw Dahae sat on the ground, searing in pain.
"AHHH- My foot. Ah! It hurts" Dahae removed her left pumps and threw it at the road.
Hoya bit his lip, seeing Dahae in pain is the least he want to see in his entire life. Dahae's way too precious for him, anyway.
"This will only take a while" He cleared his throat as he released a handkerchief on his back pocket and then wrapped it on Dahae's feet who couldn't help but hiss and curse incoherent words due to the pain.
"Now, I'll carry you" Hoya heldd Dahae's hand to help her get up. But Dahae leaned back.
"No! I will be a big burden to you" Dahae opposed.
Hoya glared at her, "It will be a big burden to me to see you in pain, limping on the streets when I know you will be more comfortable in my back. Please listen to me". Then his glares turned into soft gazes.
"Uhh.. But- Okay" Dahae bit her lip. She is still awkward with Hoya but she has to accpet his offer to lessen the pain in her foot.
She knows there are no hospital or medical centers at the are at that time so she accepted Hoya's offer eventhough her averseness is stopping her.
Hoya carried Dahae on his back then picked her pumps, thrown on the street and began pacing secure steps, "Ahh! You're so heavy! You look so skinny but Oh God! You are way too heavy".
Dahae frowned then punched Hoya lightly on the shoulder, "Yaaah! I didn't tell you to carry me. It's your fault you are suffering right now. Just make rapid steps so that you won't have to carry a pig anymore".
Hoya's lips curve to a smile as he shook his head in enjoyment. *If you only knew I wouldn't want this moment to last*
I am kinda expecting any responses from you guys. I may not show it but what you say cheers me up to make some chappies from this story.
