Soojin gently opened her eyes as she felt a striking pain on her head. It felt like the world is turning and she couldn't even bear standing up. She closed her eyes again and breathed quite few times. After a while, she forced herself to rise up and prepare herself for that day.

“Good morning, sweetie.” Her mother entered the room which door she forgot to lock last night.

“Good morning, umma.” She answered weakly, with her forehead being supported by her hand as she sat straight on her bed. Her mother noticed how she was struggling so she removed the blanket on her and sat beside her, checking her temperature by placing the back of her palm on Soojin's neck. “You don't have any fever, though. Do you want to go to the doctor?” She asked to which Soojin shook her head.

“I'm fine, umma... I just probably need so-” She wasn't able to continue her sentence when she felt her stomach turning. Despite the pain on her head, Soojin rushed to the sink to puke and release the pain on her stomach. Her mom immediately followed and rubbed her back as she coughed.

“You've been like this for days. I think there's something wrong, sweetie. Should we see a doctor, Soojinnie?” She asked.

“No, umma, I'm okay. I'm just tired from too much work, maybe.” She said but her mother disagreed and insisted on taking her to the clinic.

Not long after the examination were done, Soojin and her mom were called inside the doctor's office for the results. “Take your seats please.” The doctor said politely. On his hand was the test result.

“I think you are not aware of it.” He said straightly and looked at the two. “But you are actually 6 weeks pregnant. “That explains why you always get dizzy every morning and has the tendency to vomit almost every time.”

“But... that's impossi-” Her mom wasn't able to continue what she was saying when Soojin held her hand and pressed it lightly – getting her attention. “S-Soojin-ah...”

Mixture of surprise and confusion can be seen on her mother's face. She looked at her – eyes almost about to tear up. She didn't know if she could explain it to her properly – for even herself couldn't understand how in just a blink of an eye, this happened.

There was silence, and the doctor just decided to give advice on how Soojin should take care of herself. He gave some vitamins and recommended a good Ob-Gyn whom she can consult for her child's health care.

It was silent until both of them came home. “Umma? How's noona's health?” Jaejin, Soojin's younger brother, asked when he opened the door for them. Soojin and her mother entered the house without any word coming out of their mouth. “Umma? Noona?” He called out and followed the two to the living area.

“What did the doctor say?” Her father asked – coming out of the kitchen.

That's when Soojin burst out crying. She fell on her knees as she allowed her tears to fall down on her face. Her mom followed – crying silently while standing beside her.

“Wait, what happened?” Her father asked in panic. “Why are you all crying? What's wrong? Soojin-ah?” He knelt down and held her arms.

“A-appa...” She sobs loudly. “I'm sorry... I – I'm really sorry...I – I didn't know this would happen..”

“What happened? Tell appa...”

She looked at him. Eyes all swollen from crying so hard. Without any words, her father pulled her on a tight hug to calm her.

“I-I'm pregnant.” She told.

“Y-you're what?!” He was surprised and unable to talk for quite a while. “How?! Why?!... To whom?!”

They took some time to calm down remained silent for a while. She dried her eyes from the tears, and breathe for a while as they tried understanding her.

Soon, she started telling everything – that she knew.

“Why didn't you tell us?” Her mom asked – but she wasn't mad.

“I didn't know it will be like this... and I was still believing nothing happened that night.” She glanced at her father. He was clutching his fists tightly – controlling the tension that he felt.

“How should we contact him?”

“No – appa. Please. Don't.” She said. “I don't want him to know. Our life will suffer so much if this happened.”

“But noona, he is the father of that child. You formed that together. There's no way he won't have any share of responsibility here.”

“Jaejin-ah, can you bear being under controversy? We're not even idols or someone popular but once we get involved to him, for sure fans won't just bother me, they will bother all of us.” I looked at umma and appa asking for their approval. “I am going to raise this kid... and there's... There's Kyung San...” She said – referring to her 6 month boyfriend, Jung Kyung San.

“Do you really think that guy will accept the child that you'll bear?” Her father asked: Straight but concerned.

“I don't know... but still... that guy doesn't need to know.” She told him and was certain she won't let Onew know about it.

Her father pulled her out for a hug, together with her mother and brother. “Don't worry, Soojin-ah. We are all here to help you, and take care of you and the baby.” He said.
