“I promise to leave this house when you come home tonight.”  Soojin sent the text while crying. She didn’t want to see Onew’s face at the moment.

She cried until her eyes were swollen. “Really. I hate you. I hate you.” She kept on saying while sobbing.

**At SHINee’s Dorm**

“I’m seriously dead, kids.” Onew showed his dongsaeng her message.

“This is… really not as how I expected it to be.” Jonghyun said, almost lost for words.

“It’s because Soojin is different from other girls. I’m openly admitted about the fact that I can’t deal with girls properly, but Soojin makes it even more difficult. Aish! I can’t think straight!” Onew hit his forehead slightly.

The dongsaengs suddenly felt guilt. It wouldn’t be like this if they didn’t create such story.

For once, Onew appreciated the absence of Sooki. This will affect her so much if she was there with them during that time.

“It’s our fault…” Minho uttered, almost whispering.

“You just tried to help, though.” Onew being Onew, as soft as what everybody thinks he is. “I don’t know what to do… let me take a rest for a while.” He stood up and entered his old room. That room he occupied with Minho and Key before.

**Lee Residence**

The best way to cure Soojin’s depression is….

ALCOHOL.

She went out for a while to buy bottles of soju.

Onew won’t go home tonight, that is for sure… I’ll get drunk and forget about what I heard tomorrow morning.

So she went to the store, though she knows she’s not a heavy drinker, she still bought 5 bottles of soju. As soon as she went home, she just ate a slice of bread and proceeded to her drinking session.

Sooki’s not around.

Onew’s presence can’t be seen.

Soojin’s alone.

And she’s pretty much angry about what her husband did.

Perfect night to get all drunk and high.

**Onew**

It was already 11:30 in the evening.

I can’t sleep.

My mind and heart won’t allow me to.

Though my body needs a lot of rest right now.

I feel so hungry, too.

Key’s cooking cannot satisfy my taste buds anymore.

I need to eat Soojin’s meal in order to be full.

Seesh… Okay. I’ll admit defeat for the nth time.

I’ll prove to my dongsaengs I can fight for myself some other time.

But not now, it’s Soojin, for crying out loud.

…

So I went out of the dorm being as quiet and as smooth as possible.

If they found out I’m going to our house, there are two possible things that they’ll do.

1.       Nag about how I can be easily defeated.

2.       Go with me to the house and meddle with our lives forever

The door was left open…

Thank God I decided to come home.

She didn’t even realize she left the door here.

But what surprised me more…

Was Soojin.

Lying on the sofa, hands laid almost on the floor.

Completely drunk.

5 soju bottles on the table, 4 of them were empty.

Just what did she do, really?

…

I never wasted anymore time.

I picked her up, carried her bridal style,

And gently walked upstairs to bring her to their room.

She’s completely drunk, I swear.

She doesn’t know what’s happening.

She’s completely unconscious.

We reached the bedroom and I placed her there.

I really took care of her very well.

I’m afraid I’ll drop her.

I took of her sweater and untied her hair.

Sweet Jesus, should I repeat the same mistake I did when we’re both drunk years ago?

I just can’t take my eyes off of her

She’s too beautiful…

It’s like seeing Sooki’s face when she grows up.

I smiled, not knowing about it at all.

“Soojin-ah…” He uttered as he looked at her face.

“I like you, and I’m willing to be defeated by you forever…”
