I'm Taken
Every Moment was YouAs the production works continued, MY found a spot which allowed her to have better view of filming. The whole area was flat ground but she managed to find a space near the sound guys who were standing on a platform.
Happy to get a seat she could clearly see the distracted look on SJ's face now. He was frowning as he tried to stay interested in the discussion while scanning his eyes around the hall.
"He must be looking for me..." MY mumbled, raising both her hands and waving frantically.
This new spot was across the hall from where she was standing, unless he turns over to this direction he wouldn't be able to notice her at all.
"Look here look here!!" MY whimpered, for fear to disrupt the production crew. She was on the verge of giving up when she heard a loud clearing of throat echoing through the production hall "AHEM"
Instantly everyone turned towards the sound platform and looked, MY turned towards the sound guy with a flushed face. The soundman waved his hand towards MY as if telling her is okay but made a silly excuse to the team, "BeeAnn, my fingers slipped."
The hall returned to the usual buzz as MY got up and bowed to the soundman profusely. It was until he gave her a pat on the shoulder did she finally felt excused and sat back down. Turning her attention back, SJ's back was facing her but she swear she could see that smile on his face. True enough, the next time he turned there was this michievous smirk. SJ acted like he was stretching but the moment he realise that no one other than MY was watching, he threw a thumbs up and threw a flying kiss.
MY laughed.
All these while, someone else was looking at them for another corner.
Did she knew? Of course, at that height she could see everyone but she didn't find a need to respond.
Through these years she has to admit, she have been trying to avoid.
When there are events she would cancel if she knew that he was in the invitation list. There were friends she stopped contacting because they remind her of him. There were places she missed visiting because there were too many memories.
And there was a time where she completely blocked out the world because she didn't know how to live through it.
Those were times which still etched, but no longer hurt.
She didn't need to come today, it's not usual of her wanting to come to his workplace.
