He stepped in to the house, unfazzled by the fact that all the lights were still on despite the hour.

It has been a few months since he made this place his second home and he has been accustomed to her sleeping habits. At this hour, where the rest of the streets has already started to slow down its activity, she... probably has just started her day.

"Yeoboo..." he greeted, pulling off his socks and changing into the bedroom slippers.

As usual, no replies.

The first few days when he started staying over, she was always there to greet him at the door with that warm smile asking if he was planning to stay over that night. But when one day become one week and one week became a month, he stopped finding her at the door upon arrival, instead...

This was how she looked like most of the time.

He dived straight into the couch, aiming at her thighs for comfort, snuggling and whining to get her attention.

"You're back?" she acknowledged briefly, without looking up from her handphone screen. 

He sighed at the failed attempt to distract her and tried to squeeze in between her arms to peep at what's taking all her attention but she pushed his head away and warned him not to block.

Of course he knows what she is doing, it becomes a habit to scroll through her instagram followed by weibo to see what others have been talking about her. Even thou she doesn't follow anyone she basically have all the "interested" accounts at her finger tips. He tried experiencing her scrolling interest once and gave up halfway cause he found it too taxing to understand the stuff which his fans were writing.

He could only understand the simple texts, but these were then all too similar... "Oh PSJ you are so handsome!" "Oppa I miss you..." "Oppa come to xxx soon!"

He tried reading the longer messages which some fans wrote but he needed to bug her for a lot of translation.

"What does Hay jusko sana ako na lang yung aso. mean?" he asked once.

"뭐“ she looked up from her handphone with a questioning look. 

”Hay jusko sana ako na lang yung aso“  he repeated again, slowly with more articulation. 

"뭐“ she took over his handphone to see before breaking out into a laugh, "That's in Tagalog...."

"Tag...alog?" He pondered.

"Dehh... should be by your fans from the Philippines..." MY explained.

"But it's spelt in English! How do you even tell?" SJ replied, fully amazed at MY's language ability.

"Because I can't read...." MY shrugged, "Anything which I can't read at immediate look should not be in English!"

And he surrendered that night, language barrier would be the biggest hurdle he has to cross. He hasn't even master the basic of English to even differentiate English from the other language, how would he be able to read through all his thousand of fans' comments?

But every night for a period of time she would be in this mode, putting in her best effort to read through each and every of the comment to know what her fans are feeling today! Most of the time he would join her to spend some time brushing up on his English and too, trying to better understand his fans. But not tonight, he is too tired from all the script reading and memorizing work that he doesn't have additional braincells to flip through social platforms. 

A good hour has passed since he left her side but she seemed oblivious to his absence. Peeping through the slightly ajar bedroom door he noticed that the television was switched on and instead of being fully engaged with her handphone she was fully absorbed into the content of the black box now.

Resigning to his fate that he has lost his status to the ongoing drama, he dragged his feet out to the living room and found his space beside her again.

"Hotel Del Luna?" 

She nodded her head but had no other plans to continue the conversation.

He leaned back and joined her for the drama instead. For the past 1.5months she has been in this mode every weekend, not going out or making plans like how she used to but being stuck in front of the television at 9pm sharp and would not leave her seat for the next 90minutes.
