He took a peep, making sure that she was sound asleep. Holding his breath he pulls his hand from under her neck he pushes the pillow quickly under before releasing her head gently onto the pillow. She stirred slightly but was silent again within seconds. 

As lightly as he could he slipped out of bed, grab his phone and tiptoed out of the room. Exiting he was almost out of breath but he couldn’t take any risk of waking her up. There were too much to do and little time to waste.

Keying the first number into the dial pad, he calls away.

She whined, hoping for a good night sleep but a chill woke her. The room felt too cold for comfort. Pulling the blanket cover her shoulder she turned to find her personal heater but the other side of the bed was empty. 

Opening an eye unwillingly she scanned the dark room, there were zero movement and the toilet was dark as well so it means that he wasn’t in in there.

The digital clock at the bedside table reading 2.35AM, barely 2hours since they got to bed, was he due for work already? Pulling herself out of bed she pulled her night gown over she noticed that the door was slightly opened and decided to walk out. 

Blinking her eyes as they adjust to the darkness, she was peering into the space looking for his figure. If it wasn’t for the faint moonlight she would have missed that slightly opened balcony door. 

The balcony? Was he smoking?
If yes, why?

She deliberated, knowing that if he was smoking it means that he is deep in his thoughts and it wouldn’t be advisable to disrupt. But she was really curious what is on his mind, he hasn’t smoke for a while already.

He thought he heard something but before he could react he could feel her arms winding across his waist. Killing his cigarette quickly he dusted the air in hope to clear the smoke and spun around. She burrowed her head into his embrace and hugged tight. The breeze was blowing and she sniffed. He tightened his arms around her and turn them around, blocking the wind from hitting her. He wanted to ask why she was up but the other person was still on the line...

“I just need any available time slot...” he replied hastily while combing his fingers through her soft hair, kissing the top of her crown softly he continued “Yes yes, I know it’s almost impossible but I really need your help...”

The lady in his embrace looked up briefly, curious about his conversation but all he could do was to pout at her. She smiled at his aegyo but weariness could be seen through her eyes. There is an immediate need to finish the conversation quick so that he could bring them back to bed. He swayed around anxiously as he waited for the person on the other line to respond.

“Oh really?" The sudden volume increase of his voice startled her, "That’s tomorrow 11am right? Of course of course, I'd love to have that time. Yes, please reserve that slot for me then. You're a saviour!”

Finally, he hung up and returned his attention to the warm in his embrace. 

“Was I too loud?” He asked gently.

She shooked her head without looking up, “It’s too cold...”

“Aigooo sorry...” He apologised, he left the room door slightly ajar thinking that the call was going to be a quick one. He didn’t know that there was so much verifications to be done in order for that booking. 

“It’s okay... You've something on tomorrow morning?” She peered from below.

“Dehhh.....” he combed through her hair gently as he continued to record a few voice messages, "It's confirm guys, tomorrow 11am, thanks!"

"You're such a busy man!!" She pouts, "I don't even see you anymore..."

“Hahaha...” He laughed deeply, “I gave you the first half of my year didn't I?”

She pouted, scrunching her face so much that her eyebrows slide downwards. He was supposed to be concern that she was sad but she looked so cute that he couldn't help but snatch a kiss.

Before she could protest a yawn interrupted her thoughts.

He chuckled, touching the tip of her nose gently he teased, "Sleepy head... shall we?” 

The smile extended into her eyes, the smile he love so much. Lifting her up lightly he padded back into their room.

She heard the alarm ring faintly in the background. Stretching she noticed that the bed was empty again. Making a mental note to remind him that he was forgetting the important promise about exchanging kisses before parting, she got out of bed grumpily. 

The buzz in the house was evident even behind closed doors, her eyebrow furrowed naturally as she pulled the door open, "What is going......"

The whole house was in a mess, full of people and things.

"Oh great you're finally awake!" KeunMin walked over and dragged her before she could protest. Settling her down into the seat her makeup artist rushed forward and within seconds the skilful hands started working on the make-up. 

Half awake she was really puzzled about all these happenings, "why is everyone.."

"Shhh! Don't move I'm working on your lipsticks.." her makeup artist snapped.

Not only was everyone in a rush, everyone seemed to be in an uptight mode too. KeunMin was already ready with what seemed to be her outfit, standing by the side tapping her feet anxiously, "Palli palli, palli!!"

The moment her lipsticks was done she asked, "Did I miss a schedule? Were we supposed to be somewhere today?"

No one answered but her assistants urged her to stand and started nudging her back into the room again. 

Just before the door closed she noticed her mum and dad stepping out of their bedroom, formally dressed as well.

"Hold on a second!" she paused, "What is going on!"

For the first time KeunMin ignored that question and started
