Checking his watch, he noticed that the time was 9.30pm when the last course was served. Timing is perfect, looking at the situation now dinner should wrap around 10pm and they would have ample time to continue their earlier conversation.

Happy with his new discovery he sat up in peace, and for the first time he was looking forward to finishing the dessert as soon as possible. The waiter was taking too much time to plate the things, he stood up to offer his assistance to hand out the ready portions.

Picking up the first plate he looked over to her direction and placed it in front of her.

"Thank you!"

"You're welcome!"

That was the first public conversation they had. Smooth. 

He proceeded to pick up the next plate for Yoona followed by his. Looking down to pick up his dessert spoon he can't wait to dig in.

"Thank you everyone, it has been a wonderful night! I have to rush off for work, nice meeting everyone and enjoy the rest of the night!" Giving her iconic smile she got up, bowed and walked off. Disappearing in such a jiff before he even registered her words.

A few hundred questions popped out in his mind, what just happened. 

"Oppa, is everything okay?" Yoona nudged him.

His spoon was halfway in midair, almost spilling its content on the table cloth. Blinking as he regains his composure, he shaked his head light and smiled as his answer. 

It was afterall his own assumption that she had the night off. How could he forget that its the last week of filming and she should be extremely packed, taking time out for this dinner was definitely an exception she requested for and now its her turn to make up for the delayed production.

Putting down his spoon in fustration he let out a huge sigh.

"Oppa?"

He looked up again, the whole table was very much focusing on him now. Forcing a smile he had to make something up, "I just remembered that I didn't manage to take any pictures of the second march-in. You know the scene where KY was tearing on stage? Now I can't !"

The tension at the table ease as everyone started their conversations again. SJ heaved a sigh of relief.  

"Oppa.. I have that picture. I can share it with you." Yoona volunteered, bringing up her handphone and asking for SJ's number.

Frozen again, of course he remember the stage earlier when his jealous bulldozer was almost on the verge of grilling him. Imagine how she would be if she finds out that Yoona has his number......

"I think airdrop's quality is better.. could you try that instead?" SJ mentioned, hoping that the younger lady did not notice his intention.

"Sure!" Yoona agreed readily.

Woah.. that was close. He thought to himself, receiving the picture and finishing up the last bit of his dessert he got up and prepared to leave too. 

"Bye everyone! I'm going to run before the crowd starts moving, and it was nice seeing you again Yoona! Take care.." SJ gave the younger girl a light pat on the back before rushing out of the hall. 

Stepping into the lift silence enveloped him, he leaned back and closed his eyes, taking a break from what seemed to be a really eventful and emotional day. Right from the moment when KY was exchanging his vows the emotions just keep piling, it has been a while since he attended a wedding so this really got him in the mood. And having his girl here, somewhat here, made things even more special. 

It is afterall the first wedding they attended. 

Thinking about her he quickly fished out his phone to scroll through his pictures, finding the only picture which they managed to take together. The one with KY and his wife, zooming in so that the frame only has both him and her he takes a screencap.

"Sorry hyung, that's the only picture I have with her today, so I got to crop you out!"

Staring at her picture now he sigh, "Why do you have to run off so soon... I haven't even got the chance to kiss you yet!!"
