Situation in the lift was awkward, even to the level of tense.

They requested for 2 rooms for this trip. In his ideal world it would be them a room, and her mum a room.

But her mum was not giving the vibes that she had that in mind.

"We're not rushing to anywhere are we SJ?" She kept the conversations going, holding onto MY's luggage instead of her own,

"Anniya, we've only planned for dinner later at one of the restaurants down town. So from now till then we're very much free!" He answered politely.

"Great! Then I'd probably go down for a dip in the pool so as not to disturb the sleeping beauty!" MY mum draw the direction back to the rooming list.

Both of them exchanged glances, SJ frowned his eyebrows while MY shook her head lightly with a shrug.

"I hope we got the corner room," MY mum continued while looking at her daughter as they exited the lift together. 

"Ahhh, sorry omoni, the executive rooms are all in the centre of the hallway, right outside the lift" SJ answered while pointing at the doors which they were facing now. 

"I see... it's okay! This way we will minimize attracting attention of all the rest of the occupants in this level!" the senior lady walked in the direction of SJ's fingers, and stood outside one of the doors, "So which one is ours? Left or right?"

SJ fumbled a little before answering "Left!"

Walking forward to the left room, the senior lady holds onto MY's hand and dragged her along. SJ knows that the fate of the rooming choice has been sealed and he could only look at her with a pout on his face.

MY looks back apologetically as she gave in to her mum's tug. 

"Key please..." the senior continued as she made a beeline dash to the door. SJ dragged his feet foward to pass her the keys and the two ladies disappeared into the room with a soft thud of the closing room.
