"You have to get up."

She stays still, motionless under a heap of blankets.

"Come on. You can't stay like this," her friend Somi whines.

"Why not?" Athena mutters.

Somi shakes her head with a scowl on her face.

"Look, we're all mourning Athena. We all lost a friend but you don't see us moping around doing nothing. Come and go out with us, please?" Chan (another one of her friends) explains.

Athena shifts but doesn't get up. She stays silent and still until she hears a sigh and the shuffling of feet.

"We're here for you too. Always remember that." And then the door is shut behind them.

Athena sits up and ruffles her hair in frustration. They just don't get it. They didn't understand that it was all Athena's fault. She murdered their best friend. She didn't deserve their pity or help. What she deserved was to be stuck and trapped in her room for forever. Nobody to talk to, just alone with herself and her dangerous thoughts.
