“Good morning, Ash!” Josh greeted her as soon as he got to the kitchen for breakfast.

“Good morning, babe!” she responded.

“You know what, you should stop calling me babe, this is not the first time people thought we’re together, you know. And this time, it didn’t bring you any good.” He suggested as he situated himself across her.

“I don’t care about them.” She hissed while munching on her pancakes.

“Yeah. You don’t care, that’s why your eyes are swollen and you cooked breakfast.” He sarcastically rebutted. “Oh. And pancakes, it just so happened that you tripped on cooking your comfort food, you absolutely not care.” He added.

“Shut up and eat, Josh!” she quipped.

“By the way, want to accompany me tonight? I’m meeting a colleague who’s based here in Seoul.” He decided to drop the topic. A pissed Ashley in the morning will cause damage.

“What time?” she asked.

“Around 10 pm? We’re drinking somewhere in Gangnam.” He answered.

Ashley just stared at the phone and read the message over and over. She’s still pissed but a part of her would want to talk to him. She debated in her head until she decided to reply:
