Into the New World

“I watched you on Running Man yesterday,” Tiffany said as soon as she got into my car. I laughed.

“Well it’s nice to see you after six days too babe.” She made her ‘angry’ scrunched up nose face at me and I couldn’t hide my grin.

“I was just saying~,” she pouted. “I really missed you Taetae~.”

Oh god I hated when she used that voice. I’m not sure if it was the aegyo behind it or just the sad tone like she had just lost her puppy, but it killed me. She knew it too.

“I missed you too Fany-ah. Come here,” I said before pulling her into the best hug I could in this position. I would have gotten out of the car and helped her in like I usually do, but we were in a hurry.

We were running very, very late to meet with the remodeling man at our house. It was all done and he needed us to look over it to make sure we liked it.

Gah, I still couldn’t believe it’s already been two weeks since we met with him in the first place…

I guess time flies when you’re performing at least five out of the seven days in a week. The other two days were full of signings and variety show appearances, oh and I can’t forget photo shoots and interviews either…

I was just lucky I had the rest of the day off. I had a schedule this morning, which caused me to be late in the first place, but the rest of the day was wide open~! I think Tiffany talked her way out of practice too. I knew they had already finished their new album and now I think they were just practicing and rehearsing over and over again like usual.

For the next five minutes Tiffany held my hand and pretty much gave me a play by play of my own time on Running Man. Ah~, she was so cute.

It was a pretty fun episode too. Yuri and I were the guests, Soo would have joined us but hyung and the PD were both worried about his arm. At the time it was only the second week that he had his cast on I’m pretty sure. If we would have filmed it sometime this week he probably would have be good to go…

Oh well, I guess there’s always next time.

For our first mission though, Yuri and I were given the task to basically catch all seven of the running men… secretly.

We were given dark clothing and hats to try to blend in to our crowded environment and then gloves to wear as well. We then had to rub our gloved hands on this inkpad so we could then put our handprints on everyone’s back where their name tags were.

I thought it was actually really fun, acting like spies and sneaking around… Wah~, if only it was that easy to not be noticed when I was out and about with Tiffany…

“Oh! We’re here,” Tiffany called out. I turned into the garage and quickly typed in the number for the gate to open so we could park. Finding our spot, I hurriedly turned off the car and hopped out, running to Tiffany’s door. She gave me a questioning look so I quickly explained.

“I didn’t get your door before, so I had to make sure to get it this time,” I said as soon as I opened it. She smiled.

“You know you don’t have to get it every time.”

“Yes I do,“ I argued.

“No you don’t~,” she practically sang on the way to the elevator. I typed our secret pass code in the elevator and thought for a second.

Omo, did she not like when I opened the door for?

“D-do you like when I open the door for you?” She looked a little confused.

“Uh, well yeah? It’s nice… Why?”

Whew~!

“Then I definitely have to keep doing it,” I explained

“Tae-“

“Ani! Don’t try to persuade me. If it makes you happy it makes me even happier to do it.” I watched her lips form a beautiful little smile and knew that was it. I had to have them.

I brought my lips to hers and I could feel her smile grow beneath them. Ah~ I missed her taste. Cupping her cheeks I pulled her in even closer together as our lips became one. I don’t know if saying that she has become an even better kisser than since we started dating would be right, but it’s true.

It might also just be that we just knew each other so well at this point that every time we kissed she knew exactly what to do to make me fall even deeper in love with her than before… if that was even possible. The way her tongue teased my lips and then my own tongue itself seriously drove me crazy. I don’t think I could ever get enough of her… but it deffinitly wouldn’t stop me from trying.

I forced her backward to the wall and she let out a small yelp. Aigo, this was just like before in this same exact elevator. Now we just need some stuffy old man to interu-

“Ahem…”

I froze.

No freaking way. That’s impossible though. No one could get on this floor besides-

Oh god.

I turned around swiftly to see my fear come to life in the form of Im Yoona. She was standing outside of the door looking everywhere but at us and I could feel a cloud of embarrassment come over me. Oh god~!

“Oh, um Yoona-ssi, it’s nice to see you again,” Tiffany thankfully spoke up. “I’m sorry you had to see us-“

“Aniyo, it’s fine,” Yoona said. “It was bound to happen sooner or later, right?” We both awkwardly laughed as we walked out of the elevator. “Well I’ll see you again soon.”

“Ne, when we finally move in we’ll have to invite you to dinner for sure.” She smiled.

“Of course! I’ll look forward to it. Bye~,” the younger girl called out. We said bye as well, but once the door closed Tiffany turned right to me.

“Gah, why was that so awkward?” I laughed at the obvious answer.

“Because she caught us making out?”

“Oh,” she let out. You could tell by her expression that she knew it was now a silly question. “Right…”

___________________________________________________

“It’s perfect,” Tiffany called out as soon as we stepped into the first guest room. I squeezed her hand and smiled even bigger. I loved seeing her so happy. Gah I think her smile must be contagious for now the two people from the remodeling company were smiling right along with us.

She was right though. The Caribbean blue my members picked out looked amazing, especially with all the sun coming in through the big windows… ugh. It really was perfect.

We moved right along and looked at the other guest room, office room, and the two bathrooms on this side of the house. The kitchen and living room areas were just as perfect as the rest of the house too. The only room we had left to look at now was the bedroom.

This was also the one I was least sure about. I just didn’t know how well a brown colored bed room would look.

“And last but not least,” the man started. “The master bedroom.” After he opened the door for us, Tiffany and I walked in. I let Tiffany walk in first and-

“Wah~ it’s so pretty!” Tiffany pulled on my hand so I quickly looked at her. “Do you like it?”

Jeesh, I didn’t even get a good look at it yet, this girl…

I took a few seconds to examine it and quickly made my decision.

“It’s not bad,” I admitted honestly. Actually it was a lot better than I expected. “I thought you said you wanted the trim on the room to be dark though?” Her confused expression soon morphed to a grin.

“I did, but I had oppa call them and change it. I thought the white would make it look better.” I nodded.

“Good thinking Fany-ah. It looks great.” The white really did make it pop a little more.

“Then why are you laughing?” Her new concerned look made me laugh even harder.

“It’s nothing. I just thought of something from earlier,” I lied. I thought it was funny because I also made a call in to the company… “Let’s look in the bathroom and the closet too,” I suggested. She gave me a weird look and then made her way toward the closet. I was kinda surprised she didn’t remember the fact that we didn’t even tell them to do anything to either of the rooms but I-

“Yah, we didn’t tell them to paint these did we?” She opened the bathroom door while watching me, waiting for my response, but I didn’t even get a chance to speak.

The color of the walls must have spoken to her, for now she was staring wide eyed into the room.

“Tae!” I hummed. “It’s pink!” I’m sure my smile was as big as a bus. She was just so adorable. I’m actually pretty shocked she could still see the color or well anything since her eyes were forced into tiny crescents by her huge radiating smile.

“Surprise~,” I sang. “I felt bad that none of the other rooms were pink since you love it so much.” Her eyes didn’t leave the room. “You might wanna check the closet too…” She quickly looked at me with wide eyes and then turned around to open the closet door. It was a pretty similar reaction, but this time there was an additional squeal. “I had them paint them since you’ll probably be spending most of your time in those two rooms anyway,” I teased. She didn’t even try to nudge or hit me like she usually does when I , she just walked toward me and wrapped her arms around me.

“Thank you Taetae.” I chuckled.

“There’s no reason to thank me Fany-ah. They’re not even that big of rooms.” I felt her tiny fist hit my back.

There it is…

“Shut up. It’s sweet Taetae. The closet is one thing, but a pink bathroom too?” Her arms tightened around me. “I know how much you don’t like pink.”

“It’s not that I hate it,” I defended. “I just don’t want a whole room in it. I-“

“I know Tae~, I was just saying.” I the back of her head, feeling just how soft her hair was.

“Plus it’s a manly pink.” She burst into laughter.

“What? A manly pink? Is there even such a thing?” Crap. She had a point. No! Stand your ground.

It was totally a manly pink.

“Er, well… since the counters and the trim and everything is black, that makes it a little more manly… right? Plus it’s a light pink, not a hot pink like the closet…” I heard her chuckle.

“Whatever you say Taetae. I love it. I love you. Thank you~.” I kissed the top of her head and suddenly remembered the people probably watching all of this.

“Omo,” I said before releasing Tiffany and turning around. “Sorry, uh… She just really loves pink,” I laughed.

“Don’t worry about it Kim Taeyeon-ssi. Was everything to your liking though? If anything needs redone or fi-“

“Aniyo,” I cut him off. “Everything looks great.”

“It’s perfect,” Tiffany said from beside me.

“That’s good to hear Hwang Tiffany-ssi. If you don’t have any more questions or complaints though, we’ll be on our way so you can enjoy your like new home,” the man laughed. I nodded and Tiffany’s hand swiftly slipped into mine as we walked them to the door.

“Thank you again,” I called out the door since they insisted on us staying here. I wanted to walk them down to at least the lobby to be polite, but whatever~!

I closed the door and heard another squeal from behind me.

“Wah~! Taeyeon-ah! Our house is finished!” She started shaking in excitement before she literately ran in the direction of the living room. Aigo~!

I followed her in, walking of course, to see her standing on the sofa looking around, admiring the new paint job. I laughed.

“What are you doing babe?” She grinned down to me as she reached her hand out.

“Come stand with me.” I laughed even harder. She was nuts!

“I’m not standing on the sofa.” She did that cute little aegyo filled whine and I knew I had to give in. “Fine~,” I sighed. I took her hand and stepped up beside her.

She didn’t even give me a second to reposition myself before her arms wrapped around me. Seriously, I almost fell and took her down with me. Luckily it didn’t happen though. Tiffany just laughed and held me tighter.

“Yah~, it’s not funny. We could have fallen down!” Her laugh got louder.

“It’s a little funny, plus we didn’t. Now shut up and look at our house,” she ordered playfully. I shook my head and followed my orders.

Taking in the new color, I couldn’t believe how close we were to getting to live here, getting to live here together. Ah~! It just made me so happy to even think about. I would get to eat and sleep and just hang around all day with this angel in front of me.

Then it hit me.

We probably wouldn’t get to do most of those things for a while.

I knew at that point in the future, we would be married, but we wouldn’t necessarily be able to be together. Tiffany’s album had been pushed back even farther. Her comeback was now six days before our wedding.

Six.

That meant for the next month or two after our wedding she’d be ridiculously busy. She’d at least be in the same country as me this time though…

Since we also agreed that if either of us had early schedules or something where it would be easier on everyone if we just slept in the dorm with our members, she probably wouldn’t even get to sleep here most nights… maybe even at all.

“I can’t believe our house is finished Taetae,” she said in a small voice against my chest, thankfully pulling me from my depressing thoughts. I chuckled.

“It’s not finished though babe.” She pulled away quickly and looked up at me.

“What do you mean it’s not finished Taeyeon? Do you not see how pretty th- MMPH!” I silenced her with my lips. “Yah~! I seriously hate when you do that.” I raised a brow.

“Do you,” I asked, bringing my face in closer. She looked surprised, but she hummed anyway.

“I-I do.” Her voice was weak. Aigo~!

“That didn’t sound very convincing there Fany-ah,” I laughed.

“Shut up~,” she whined. “Why are you always so mean to me?” I caressed her cheek.

“Because,” I paused to kiss her. “It’s… fun… to… tease…you,” I said in between even more brief kisses. Her smile was large now as she grinned up to me.

“You know,” she started as her thumb caressed my bottom lip. “I’m gonna get you back for this.” Her low, husky voice made my insides flip.

“Mhm,” I voiced under her touch. “I can’t wait.” She grinned and pushed my face away.

“You’re such a jerk…” I laughed again. This was coming from the girl that just forcefully pushed my face away.  “What did you mean when you said it’s not finished though? You never answered me.”

Oh, right. I guess I never did, did I?

I looked around once and then brought my gaze to hers.

“Look around.” She did. “Don’t you think were missing something Fany-ah?” I gave her a few seconds before deciding to give her another hint. “What are we standing on?”

She froze and her eyes grew twice in size.

There it is.

“Taeyeon!” I nodded. “We don’t have any furniture!”

“I know babe,” I replied.

We had no furniture of our own at all. Actually even all the things we used in our dorm didn’t belong to us. It all belonged to our company. Well besides the smaller things like some clothes, blankets, and laptops and all the little extra stuff we’ve picked up along the way.

There was nothing that we actually needed though. No beds, no chairs, not even the television belonged to us.

We as a couple had nothing.

Tiffany suddenly hopped of the sofa and started walking away. What the?

“Where are you going?”

“We’re,” she corrected. “Going shopping. Put your shoes on, let’s g-“

“Huh,” I interrupted. She wasn’t serious was she?

“Let’s go buy cute furniture Taetae.”

She was.

“Tiffany we can’t just go shopping and you know that.” She was crazy if she thought we’d be able to just prance around well, any store without getting noticed.

“Yeah we can. If we wear masks and hats and-“

“Aniyo, don’t you remember when you and your members snuck out that time? Didn’t you say your fans recognized you by just your arms?” I sighed. “Let’s just sit down with a catalog next time we see each other and order from it.”

“Taeyeon~,” she whined. “Just because you hate shopping-“

I had to cut her off again.

“Tiffany it’s not even that! I would go shopping with you, you know that. I’d follow you anywhere baby, it’s just that I don’t want to get into a situation where fans swarm us or something. You could get hurt.” I saw her eyes soften into her smile and knew I had finally gotten through.

“But I really wanna go shopping with you,” she said with a cute pout.

Never mind… I should have known it wouldn’t be that easy. I now had to fight back every ounce of me that wanted to give in to her cuteness.

She could get hurt Taeyeon! Hurt!

Right, I said to myself.

“Fany-ah, we can’t. I don’t want you to get hurt.” She stepped closer, sliding her arms around my waist.

“Please~?”

Oh god. Don’t look Taengo. Don’t- UGH!

It was too late. I saw it.

I saw the irresistible pouty lip and puppy dog eye combo that she always used to get her way. Oh no…

No! You have to resist! I internally groaned. Ugh, but she’s just so precious and- oh my god. I just wanted to squeeze her cute chubby cheeks and ki-

No!

NO, no no nonononono! She could get hurt.  Think about that you pabo!

Right.

Sudden images of what happened at the music festival this past spring popped in my head. That stupid man trying to pull my Fany-ah off stage? Nope.

That did it.

“No Tiffany,” I said firmly. “We can’t go and that’s final.” I felt her arms tense around me.

Uh-oh. Was I too firm?

I looked down to see her looking right back at me with wide eyes. Aish, you’re the biggest idiot Kim Taeyeon. Seriously, if I could hit myself right now I would do it repeatedly.

Your beautiful girlfriend is standing here pretty much begging for you to take her out and you yell at her? Wah~ good going!

“I’m sorry babe,” I started. “I just do-“

“What if we call oppa?”

“Huh?” I had no idea what she was talking about. “Let me finish apologi-“

“Stop,” she said cutting me off yet again. “You don’t need to apologize Taetae.” Her hand moved to my cheek. “I know you’re just looking out for me… and I guess I wouldn’t want anything to happen to you either,” she grinned.

“Yah! I see how it is,” I teased. Her husky laugh was music to my ears. “I’ll take down all the boys that are after you but for the girls after me you’ll just let em’ have me? Wah~ I thought you loved me Fany-ah,” I laughed.

“It’s not like that~,” she whined.

“What’s it like then babe?” She grinned.

“Your fans are scary~.”

Omo, this girl…

“And you don’t call the entire South Korean military scary Hwang Miyoung?” Did she forget that one out of every five guys in the army probably had her picture up in his locker?

“It’s not the same thing~,” she whined again. “Your fans even follow Soo and Yuri’s siblings around don’t they?”

Okay she did have a point… Actually, that made my point from before even more real.

“And you want to go shopping, being surrounded by the ‘scary’ fans? I don’t think so Fany-ah.”

“That’s why I said we should call oppa you jerk! If our managers come with us that can help disguise us and keep people away, right?”

Ahh, so that’s what she meant by that earlier.

They would be able to help though, especially with keeping people away…

Tiffany really wants to go shopping too. Hmm.

“Please Tae,” she said sadly again. Aigo~!

“Fine. IF,” I said loudly as the girl began to jump around excitedly. “If we can get our managers to both come with us. I’m not going unless at least two other people come with us. Okay?” She nodded happily and she pulled her phone out of her bag. I watched her tap it a few times before holding up to her ear.

“Oppa~,” she called out seconds later. “You’re taking us shopping!”

Oh boy…

____________________________________________________

“Taetae, I’m done~,” I called out after looking over the list I just created.

Oppa said that before he and Hanyoung oppa got here to take us shopping, we needed to have a list or a plan for what we should get. It totally made sense and it would probably save us a ton of time in the long run.

Taeyeon also had the genius idea that we should both make a list in case one of us missed something.

“Finally~,” he grinned. “What’s on yours?” Uhm…

“What do you mean what’s on mine? Everything we need is on mine pabo.”

What the hell was he talking about?

“Ani,” he laughed. “Like I made my list in order of importance. How did you do yours?”

“Ahh!” That made more sense. “I went through room by room in my head and made a list for each,” I explained.

“Omo, that’s a really good idea babe.” I grinned. “Aigo~, my wittle Fany-ah is so smart,” he cooed while pinching my cheek… hard.

“Oww,” I groaned. “That hurt Taeyeon-ah!” He laughed. What a jerk… “Kiss it.”

“Huh?”

“I said to kiss it. It hurts~!” He chuckled again.

“Arasso~ come here.” I leaned over so he could reach my cheek, but that child grabbed my face and pulled me into at least ten more kisses.

This is what I have to live with…

“Tae~,” I groaned. “We need to make a list.” He laughed some more before finally making some sort of contribution to the conversation.

“We already did.”

I didn’t say it was a big contribution.

“But we have two.”

“Then let’s make a combined one,” he suggested simply.

Well duh captain obvious!

Whatever! I grabbed Taeyeon’s notebook again and turned to a fresh page.

Hold up.

“How should we do it? Like yours or like mine?”

“Hmm,” he held out as his eyes got a little bigger like they always do when he’s thinking about something. I thought it was adorable. It was even more adorable when he added that stupid half grin he always does. Ugh… He really killed me. “Maybe we should do it like mine in case we don’t get enough time to look for everything? We can just get the essentials first?”

“Ooh, good thinking Taetae.” I would have been annoying and pinched his cheek twice as hard, but I really wanted to get this list done. “Okay, what did you have as number one?”

“I had beds. Since noona and my mom are coming to stay next month.” I nodded. “And we need our own~,” he said suggestively. I rolled my eyes, but I guess that was a good number one priority... for unnie and umma of course…

I wrote down ‘beds and sheets’ and looked back at Taeyeon.

“What next?”

“I put down all the stuff we need for the kitchen. Like plates, bowls, a toaster… that kind of stuff.”

Ooh~ another good call by my handsome fiancé. His list continued on with the dining room table, which we decided needed to be pretty large in case the whole gang comes over, and a television.

I agreed for the most part with the rest of his whole list, but my Taetae forgot some pretty important things too. The biggest one being towels and washcloths. He didn’t expect them, and even us to air dry did he?

Eh, well as much as he loved that balcony he might have…

I mean I obviously wouldn’t have a problem with Taeyeon walking around , I might even prefer it… but I don’t think my sister or my future mother in law would be too fond of drying with no towels.

Within the next ten minutes we had everything sorted and written in order of importance. I even took it amongst myself to label what colors and how many of each thing we needed. Obviously it wouldn’t be exact since we might find patterned sheets or something, but I just jotted down a quick note about each thing.

“Ooh, you look like you’re working hard over there,” Tae teased. I hummed.

“I have to make sure our house looks pretty. It’s almost inevitable that something will be filmed here in the future, right?” He laughed.

“You’re right. They do like to surprise us every now and then.” I hummed.

“And aren’t you guys getting a show here soon?” I thought he said something about it a while ago…

“Eh, I wouldn’t say soon. Hyung said we’re probably going to start filming in November or December. I think it’ll start actually airing in January? I’m not sure…” Omo. That was around the same time…

“Wait really?” It couldn’t be. Would SM really do that?

Never mind… It was SM.

He hummed. “Why?”

“We’re going to start filming at the same time then. Our shows will probably even air at the same time.”

“Jinjja?” I nodded. “That’s awesome. I’ll make sure you’re a guest on ours,” he laughed.

He really wasn’t getting it.

“Tae, if we film at the same time that means we’ll get to see each other even less. We’ll be busy filming and-“

“Yah, don’t talk like that! I won’t let our schedules get in the way Fany-ah. I’ll visit my wife all the time while you’re away from me filming.” His hand caressed my back. “Hell they might as well add me to the show!” I grinned and leaned in to him.

I knew he was only trying to cheer me up, because there was no way at all he’d be able to visit me all the time when he’ll be filming at the same time. That’s one of the many reasons I love him though. He always tried to make me happy, no matter what it was.

___________________________________________________

It was around twenty minutes later and we were in front of a small shop just outside of Gangnam.

Jiho hyung said that it was a very nice furniture store. Also since it was just the one shop, it would be way, way easier for us to sneak in and out undetected. It was really a win-win.

“Here Fany-ah,” I said as I repositioned the beanie she was wearing.

“Thank you Tae,” she grinned. I put my glasses on and stepped out of the vehicle. I helped her out behind me and quickly walked to the door. I don’t think anyone noticed us, but I also didn’t want to take the chance.

I opened the door and waited until Tiffany, my manager, and SNSD’s stylist all walked through before I went in myself.

I could tell by the first few steps inside that this place must specialize in beds, sofas, and tables. Not dining room tables of course, but the smaller coffee tables and bed side tables.

All of which we need.

Well besides the sofa I guess. Tiffany did say we should get a sofa chair or a tiny love seat kinda thing to put in there beside our huge sofa.

Omo, I totally forgot the resting space in the hall too. It wasn’t very big, but there was a good amount of room between one of the guest rooms and the office like room. If I remember correctly when we toured there was a small sofa and a bookcase? Maybe a small table too?

I don’t remember exactly.

“What are we looking for first?”

“Beds,” Tiffany replied quickly.

“Bed-S? Plural?” I hummed.

“For the guest rooms hyung. Umma can’t sleep on the sofa.” He nodded.

“Well alright then… Beds it is. It looks like there are tons over here.” I nodded and followed hyung through the store and around a wall-divider kind of thing where in fact there were many beds all displayed. Tiffany followed along with her hand in mine. Since our managers said that if we act like we usually do it might draw attention, I was really trying my best not to wrap my arms around her every chance I had.

“What kind of a bed do you want babe,” I asked. She looked overwhelmed at all the choices. “If you don’t like any of these, I’m sure we’ll find one somewhere else.” She hummed, but kept scanning the store floor.

“I really want a canopy bed,” she said flatly.

“A what?”

“Canopy,” she repeated it again in Korean.

“Ahh~ the ones with the stuff that come down?” She hummed.

“If that’s okay with you I mean,” she said shyly. Aigo~.

In a way though, I felt really nervous too.

Maybe it wasn’t nerves, but it was definitely something. I mean we were shopping for our bed. OUR bed that will be put in to OUR house.

Wah~! It felt amazing, scary, and just so great all in one.

“I don’t mind a canopy bed Fany-ah.” She grinned and I just needed to kiss her.

Not because I wanted to feel her soft lips or the warmth of her breath against me. No, I wanted to kiss her because I couldn’t think of any other way to express the angel that she is. I wanted her to know that I see her as perfect.

That she is perfect.

I pressed my lips against hers and literately half a second later my manager was saying my name angrily.

UGH.

 “I know, I know,” I sighed. “I couldn’t help i-“

“Hello, can I help you find anything today,” a cheery woman spoke from behind us. I turned around and- Oh my god.

It was the cutest old woman I have ever seen in my life.

“Ne, halmoni. We’re looking for a canopy bed. Do you have any here by chance?” The old woman smiled.

“Of course we do, follow me,” she said back happily. I nodded and quickly followed behind her, pulling Tiffany beside me.

Just as Tiffany’s manager caught up to us, we arrived at the first bed with a canopy.

We had to rule out the first three simply because they had a metal frame that my Fany-ah was not a fan of. Instead the halmoni began showing us the beds with a wooden frame.

She rejected the next two or three as well and I began to wonder.

“Do we really need a canopy Tiffany? I see plenty of nice one wi-“

“We have to have a canopy,” said kind of sharply.

Uhm okay?

“Why?” Omo… “Is this a fantasy that you haven’t told me about yet Hwang Mi- Oww,” I called out after receiving an elbow to the ribs.

Oh gah, it hurt even more since I was so close to her.

“I’ll take that as a yes,” I laughed through the pain.

“What was that,” the older woman asked as she turned toward us.

“Oh nothing halmoni. I was talking to myself.” She smiled.

“Well these are the last two canopy beds we have back here. I think there might be a few mixed in up front but-“

“It’s perfect.”

My head turned at rapid speed toward the girl beside me.

“Huh?”

“That’s it,” she said simply. I looked to where she was looking and- Uhm.

“Seriously? That one’s kind of… well, ug- Ow! Quit hitting me,” I said loudly. This girl…

“Not that one pabo, the one behind it.” She walked forward to the bed, so I quickly followed behind her.

Tiffany was right though. This matched so well with our colors!

Earlier Tiffany actually did find one that she liked a lot, but since the halmoni informed us that all the beds were handcrafted, they only have what they have. We couldn’t order one with a non-purple accent like the one she wanted was decorated with.

This one however was perfect. The headboard was cushiony and covered in a soft, light brown ivory kind of fabric that matched the canopy that hung down itself. Wah~! The color would match with our caramel room perfectly.

“Sit on it,” I urged. Tiffany looked at me and then the halmoni, who nodded her approval. She grinned and then sat her bottom right on the… oh no. “What’s wrong?”

Her smile had gone from a ten all the way down to a frown in less than a second.

“Do… uh. Do the mattresses come with the beds?” Huh? What kind of a question in that?

“Sorry miss, they do not. You will have to purchase that separately.“

“Oh thank god,” Tiffany said as she laid back. “This one is super uncomfortable Taetae.  Sit on it.”

Ahh, I laughed. Now I understand the question. I sat beside her and- Omo. This really was. Jeesh, it almost hurt. How did people sleep on this?

“The mattresses do come in other sizes though, so if you find one you like we can get it in the size you need.”

Omo! That was great news.

For the next ten minutes Tiffany and I began sitting on practically every bed in the place. We were really lucky that the only other people shopping here were a middle aged couple, that more than likely did not want our autograph.

It took another thirty or forty minutes before we were finally ready to leave. We picked out two less fancy and a bit smaller bets for the guest rooms, don’t worry, they were still full sized beds, just definitely not as big as our new king sized bed…

We also left the place with a few smaller tables and a tiny sofa to go in the rest area. Well, we obviously didn’t leave with them, but we paid for them to be delivered to our home at a future date. The lady also said that if we wanted the movers could also put everything together for us.

I obviously agreed to that. I sure as hell did not know how to put a bed together and I knew Tiffany didn’t either.

“When would you like them delivered?” Oh crap. We had to decide that now? I looked at hyung.

“Wh-when am I free? Tomorrow?” He already had his phone out and everything.

“Ani, you have that charity event remember?” Oh, that’s right. “How about the day after tomorrow,” he asked the woman. She smiled.

“Of course. Now only the one mattress will be there for the other two were just now ordered today. They should be there within the next two weeks.”

I nodded. That made sense.

Our managers asked about a few more things, like keeping our address a secret, and soon we were back in the van on to our next location.

“Where to next,” hyung asked.

“Somewhere that sells stuff for a kitchen,” I replied. My manager and Tiffany’s stylist started searching on their phones and-

“It says the best place to go is that huge store in the mall, you know the-“

“I know,” Tiffany’s manager sighed. “Do you really think we can get them in and out of a mall easily though?”

Due to my incessant asking and begging, here we were in the parking garage of the Times Square mall. Wah! I was so excited. I never got to do this kind of thing, like ever.

Not even that often with my members. The fact that I was here with Taeyeon, just made this so much better!

We made our way inside, decked out in hats and scarves. We had to shed the sunglasses this time because I mean who wears sunglasses inside? Duh, only celebrities.

Taeyeon however did wear his actual glasses again in hopes to disguise himself a bit more.

However, the whole plan failed.

I can say we did give it a good shot though. We even made it to the store before anyone did as much as take a double look. Once we were stationary inside however, people began spotting us. Of course they then started causing a ruckus so we decided to leave.

We were able to pick out a pretty toaster before too many people gathered though! Taeyeon as expected did not let me get the pink one, but the silver one we did get was equally as pretty… not really, but I guess it did go better with our kitchen thank the pink one would have.

Ugh… the struggle.

Unnie stayed behind to buy it, while Taeyeon, our managers, and myself were all heading to the car.

“Fany-ah, stay close,” Taeyeon demanded. I wondered what his deal was, but since our cover was busted anyway… I took his hand and pulled myself as close as I could be to him.

As the crowd got thicker, Taeyeon wrapped his arm round me and I couldn’t have been more thankful. It was getting a bit stuffy…

Eventually we made it to the car. Since the crowd even followed us out to the garage, we decided to leave. Oppa called unnie and told her we’d pick her up at a different entrance so we could hopefully get rid of all the people following us.

It was a good plan too because it worked.

Unnie was standing on the curb waiting for us by the time we got there.

“Thanks noona,” Taeyeon said as she closed the door behind her.

“Yeah thanks unnie~.”

“It’s no problem. We’re just lucky they didn’t follow me too,” she laughed.

“Yeah that would have been bad. We might’ve had to leave you here,” Taeyeon teased.

“Yah! Miyoung-ah you better get your boyfriend before I smack him,” she grinned.

Taeyeon hid behind my back and I just shook my head. He was so lame.

He continued being his perfectly, lame self all the way back to our house where Taeyeon’s car was parked. Ugh. That meant we had to part ways.

Taeyeon had multiple things to do tomorrow and I had even more things to do the day after. Actually I was really upset about that. Since that was the day all of our furniture was going to arrive and I was busy, Taeyeon was going to have to be there by himself.

Since I couldn’t make it though, I told him he had to send me pictures of everything and Taeyeon being the most perfect man in the world like he always is, did,

He took multiple pictures of everything. Everything. Some were pretty hilarious too. Seriously, I was so close to uploading the one of him basically cuddling the toaster we bought… Omo, it was just so cute.

I knew I couldn’t, even though there were already articles online about us being spotted shopping for ‘newlywed items’ as the article called it. Ugh, everyone needed to calm down.

That’s why a few days later when we were heading to our wedding photo shoot in LA, I was glad no one knew about it.

Taeyeon had his arm wrapped around me and I couldn’t feel any better. Not only were we getting photos taken for our wedding that was only a little over a month away, we’d get to go on a mini vacation and even see my family again.

Wah~! I was so excited.

I let my hand rest on Taeyeon’s leg and leaned into him. This was so nice.

“Yah,” he spoke up a few minutes later. “Quit doing that, you’re seriously entering the red zone.”

Huh? What the?

“What are you ta-“ I stopped midsentence as his other hand moved my hand that was resting on his leg. He moved it higher up and closer to his knee than it was before.

Wait a minute, my hand totally started out there though?

“You keep getting closer and closer babe,” he said with a laugh. “When you started moving your thumb I almost lost it.” I laughed.

“Sorry Taetae. I guess I wasn’t paying attention.” His lips moved to the side on my head.

“Don’t be sorry, we just can’t do that in public. I don’t want to get too excited.” I grinned.

“Fine. I’ll just save it for the hotel.” I ran my hand down his firm chest and- “I still can’t believe we matched without even trying,” I said as I looked at his outfit once more.

“I still don’t see how we even match Fany-ah. We’re not wearing the same colors at all.” That was true, but we totally went together.

“Tae, you’re wearing red, white, and blue and I-“

“Yeah it’s America’s colors and Korea’s colors,” he grinned. “It seemed fitting since we’re leaving one to go to the other.”

Oh my god he was so cute.

“You’re right Tae, but I’m wearing a denim dress while you’re wearing America’s colors. It goes so well together.”

“Why?” He looked clueless.

“American’s love jeans and denim babe, blue jeans are always associated with Western culture. I don’t really know why, but they are,” I laughed. “So we do match. Very well, I might add. Totally American style”

He smiled, showing of his cute eye smile that was definitely way cuter than mine and my heart jumped. How could he be so attractive?

It really wasn’t fair.

It was ten or so minutes later and we had finally arrived at the airport. It was so refreshing to see no one here waiting for us. Oh my god, I couldn’t even describe the feeling.

Oppa parked the car on the curb and let us all get out. He, Taeyeon’s manager, and both of our stylists were coming along for the photo shoot, since I guess some of the photos were for a magazine. Our company insisted on us doing it though…

They would be leaving once the shoot was over, unlike Taeyeon and I who would then be going to visit my family!

I was listening to what Taeyeon’s manager had to say and trying to find Taeyeon’s hand, but instead I located his elbow. I quickly turned my attention to him so I could actually hold his hand, but that’s when his grim expression caught my eye.

“What’s wrong?”

“There are paparazzi here,” he said flatly.

“What? Where?” He slightly nodded his head and sure enough there were two men with cameras across the way pointing right at us.

It was only two, but still. There should be no one.

I told oppa and he just sighed.

“It figures. Let’s just get to the plane then… We can talk inside.” We nodded and followed him inside, passing by the camera men. What was even worse though was that there were at least ten more people inside trying to take a picture of us.

Ugh. I don’t know if I was more mad that they wouldn’t back off or just confused how they even found us in the first place.

My guess is the ether SM or the magazine we’re taking a few photos for ‘accidentally’ spilled the beans.

Accidentally my .

Oooh~ the photo-shoot and Hwang Family bonding is coming up next~!
I hope I write it well^^
>_<

I'm way too tired to edit it right now, so please excuse all my horrible spelling and/ or grammer!

Hearing from all of you makes me happiest in the world!
Good and even bad comments are always welcome.<3

If you have any suggestions to help me make the story better, let me know!
I'll do my best to try to work them in!
I'm always trying to learn from my mistakes!

Okay~
About the drama that everyone really seems to want.
Sorry to ruin your day but, more than likely it's not going to happen.

Don't get me wrong I'm 100% NOT against adding it, it's just that I cant think of a realistic 'drama' to add to the story. Let me show you all what I'm talking about with some examples of messages I have received.

'Make JellyFany or Jelly Taeng!' - This is one I'm totally okay with, however since the two are so into each other and trust each other so much all jealousy issues would be easily solved. This 'drama' lasting more than a chapter will be very rare, unless the chapter gets split of course. You'll more than likely see this one again, but not for extended periods of time.

'Have Taeny fight!'  - This is pretty much has the same reasoning as the last one. They might have minor little scuffs, but nothing I would consider 'drama.' What would they fight about? They've already been through most of the big issues here.

'Anything to do with cheating!' - Do you really think at this point any of the couples would cheat on one another? Maybe in some of those off the wall fanfics that are full with random drama, but not this one. If you haven't noticed I've tried to keep everything semi realistic.

Unless you all want me to kill someone off or break a couple up for no reason, I really would not hold my breath on any major drama.

That is if no one has any good suggestions they'd like to share with me^^

If that makes you want to unsubscribe, by all means go for it. I won't be the tiniest bit mad because I completely understand. Some people can't handle all the fluff and I get that. Thank you for coming along with me this far.<3
It really means the world to me.

Seriously Over 550 subscribers and over 100 upvotes? I really never thought I'd see the day.

You all are seriously amazing.<333333

Also, RIP Eunbi and RiSe. I know I didn't know them as well as some of you might, but from what I saw they were both very genuine and beautiful ladies. It's truly a loss. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy.

I come back to this story every few months and re-read the entire thing aswell as the few chapters of the sequel. Hands down one of the best fan fictions I’ve read for this ship and my favourite overall! The writing is consistently great the whole way through and never strays off the plot.I hope someday you will comeback and finish the sequel. More importantly I hope you are happy and healthy and doing well! Thank you !
