Everland

Into the New World

“Unnie! Are you ready? Oppa said they were on their way, oh and to next time answer your phone.”

“Yeah, yeah,” I said as I added the last touches of makeup. I needed to make sure I looked equally as good as last night. Today I would be spending almost all day with Seohyun, Taeyeon, and most importantly Taeyeon’s family. Jess and Sunny really wanted to go too, but they were guest MC’ing on a music show later on and wouldn’t be able to

“Unnie,” Seohyun called again.

“Yah, yah. I’m ready,” I said finally putting my lip gloss back in the small purse I was carrying.

“Okay, good. They’re he- you’re wearing heels?”

“What?” I looked down. Omo. “Whoops. Out of habit I guess,” I said before running back to my room. I quickly changed in to a pair of white flats and we were off.

“Good morning Fany-ah,” was the first thing I heard once I opened the door of the van. “Here sit beside me.” I cheered in my head a little. I hoped that it took a while to get where ever we were going today, it only meant more time beside Taeyeon. I stepped inside and noticed a sprawled out Hayeon in the middle row. Aigo! Just like her brother, a huge dork.

“Okay. Annyeonghaseyo umma,” I greeted once I sat down. I didn’t feel awkward calling her that at all like I did yesterday. After Taeyeon had left us alone she just asked me a few questions pertaining to Taeyeon and then about my family, which really got the tears going. We had a really good talk though. I can definitely see where Taeyeon gets his sensitive side from. I smiled just thinking about it. In the end she convinced me to start calling her ‘umma’ instead of ‘eomonim.’ I was hesitant at first, but after seeing Taeyeon’s reaction to it, I knew I had to continue. His smile afterward was so big, gah I really couldn’t get it out of my head.

The more I called her that in fact, the more okay it felt to do so. She was so welcoming toward me. I was very thankful for her kindness last night.

“Uhm. Unnie,” Seohyun whispered. “Where do I sit?”

“Omo! Yah, brat! Get up,” Taeyeon said from beside me. With no response from the girl, he moved over the seat and started tickling her.

“Wahah-stop..omo. Oppa~,” she screamed. Once he stopped she finally sat straight up and gave the meanest glare I’ve ever seen a 10 year old give. Oh my god. “What?”

“Don’t talk to me like that,” he teased. “Make room for Seohyun-ah.”

“Seohyun-ah? Omo.” She turned to see our maknae smiling back at her.

“Annyeong. I’m Seohyun. It’s nice to meet you. Is it okay if I sit here?” Hayeon just nodded. “Thanks! Hello Eomonim, my name is Seohyun. I’m SNSD’s maknae. Please take good care of me today,” she said politely. Yep, I was glad she came with us today. If it was anyone that parents were going to love, it was going to be Seohyun. She was the nicest, sweetest, most respectful girl I’ve ever met. Omo, what if she liked her more than me? Oh god.

“It’s nice to meet you too dear and to see you again Tiffany-ah. I’ve packed delicious foods for everyone today,” Taeyeon’s mom said from the front seat breaking me out of my mini panic attack. A couple minutes later we were off and on our way.

We started to get on the highway. Hmm. “Where are we going anyway?” I still wasn’t sure.

“Hayeon don’t you dare say it. They don’t know yet,” Taeyeon ordered. It was cute to see him being all secretive over this ‘surprise’ and everything, but it was also annoying! I just wanted to know. Wait! “Yah, why does she know?” I thought the whole point was to keep it from her, not me.

“Uh yeah… She overheard me talking to Sunny about it last night. The little sneak,” he joked again.

“Just tell me,” I whined. “And why are we leaving so early?” It was only a little after nine.

“Oh I can answer that one,” he said excitedly. “It doesn’t open until ten and the sooner we get there the more things we can see and do.” His eyes were almost glowing. I smiled, jeesh he was such a kid. I decided to give up and let him have his fun, for now.

A small yawn escaped my lips before I felt an arm come around my shoulder. “Taeyeon,” I whispered. “Your mom and sister are right there.” As much as I did want to cuddle, I knew I couldn’t, not with his mom watching our every movement! I pushed his arm away. Alright, she might not have been watch our every movement, but she could have if she wanted to! I was trying to make a good impression here.

“It’s okay. She doesn’t care,” he said earning a skeptical look from myself. “I’m serious, look I’ll ask her.” He isn’t serious. Oh my god he was.

“What? Taeyeon no-“ But before I could stop him he had already started.

“Umma, can I put my arm around Tiffany? She’s scared we’ll get in trouble,” he laughed. Oh god. This wasn’t happening. I closed my eyes and waited for her response. Damnit Taeyeon, it’s the second day and you’re already ruining my chance wi-

“Of course, Taeyeon-ah. Tiffany, don’t be afraid to do those kinds of things in front of me,” his mom said. Oh my god this was embarrassing. “It makes me happy to see you two happy together.”

I could not believe this. His arm swiftly came back around and pulled me in to him. “Now sleep if you’re tired,” he ordered. I wasn’t going to protest though. I laid my head on his shoulder and watched to see if his mom was going to react in anyway. Whew. She didn’t. Wow, this was seriously amazing. I couldn’t believe she was going along with this. Most Korean parents I know frown upon this kind of stuff, especially when it’s done in front of them. I silently laughed at my next thought. I guess he had to get his byuntae side from somewhere too.

“What’s so funny?” Shoot, I’ve been caught. I giggled aloud.

“Ani, it’s nothing,” I said as I wrapped my arms around his waist and pulled myself in closer to him. “Mmm,” I voiced. I loved this. His warmth, his scent, his thumb that continuously caressed my bare shoulder, I loved it all. The steady motion of the van along with his never ending touch seemed to have put me asleep, and quick. I don’t even remember leaving the city, but here I was, already being called to wake up.

“Tiffany unnie wake up! We’re here! Let’s go~!” I blinked my eyes a little to see Hayeon very close to my face.

“Omo,” I said as I moved back quickly. “Are we here?”

“Yep, we just got here,” I heard Taeyeon respond. I nodded and removed myself from Taeyeon.

“Ugh! Can Seohyun unnie and I go ahead?” I could hear the small girl growing more impatient.

“Ani, it’s okay. I’m up, I’m up.” I looked out the window. Oh my god. No freaking way. “Taeyeon!”

“Ow, what?” I saw him holding his ear.

“Oh mian. We’re really at Everland?” His frown turned in to a huge grin as he nodded. I threw my arms around him and planted a quick kiss on his lips.

“Eww~,” Hayeon said loudly, but I didn’t care. For one she already knew about us anyway since we told her last night. Secondly, I was so excited to be here. Wah! This was a place I’ve always wanted to go, but I never could for obvious reasons.

“Wait, how are we going to get around? Won’t there be people here?”

“Yeah, but I asked them to help us out, so we’ll have a few security guards with us today, and hyung. Right?”

“That’s right. Once we get in there everything should be taken care of,” his regular manager said. I was even more relieved that he came instead of the new assistant that came to dinner yesterday. I wasn’t so sure the new guy could handle all this on his second day.

“What are we waiting for? Let’s GO,” Hayeon called out once more. She did not have to ask me again.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Twenty or so minutes later we were all leaving the offices in the front of the park, along with four plain clothed security guards. Hyung though it would be better that way so we didn’t draw attention to start off with, which was very smart. As soon as we made it to the main path Hayeon turned quickly to me.

“Oppa, what are we doing first?” I laughed.

“Hayeon-ah, we’re here for your birthday. So let’s do whatever you want to do, okay?” She nodded with wide eyes. “Where do you want to go first? Oh crap, I didn’t grab a map,” I said aloud. We passed a huge rack of them on the way in too. If only we weren’t being rushed in the offices. Aish.

“I have one oppa,” Seohyun said as she came to my side.

“Ah, daebak! You’re the best,” I said as she handed me it. I opened it up and bent down to get on her eye level. “Alright, it looks like there are a bunch of rides over here on this side,” I pointed to the map. “Ooh, and all the animals are over here. Which do you want to do first?”

“Rides~,” she screamed.

“Hayeon,” my mom warned.

“Hayeonie, remember we have to not draw attention to ourselves okay? If people start following us around we might have to leave.” I saw her eyes double in size instantly. “But it’s okay. Let’s go!” I grabbed her hand and we were off toward the first ride.

Hayeon and I led the group of us followed closely by Tiffany, Seohyun and my mother. Hyung and the extra security kept their distance. He again thought they would draw too much unwanted attention. I didn’t notice too many people look our way as we were walking, thankfully.

“Oppa, here,” Hayeon said. I stopped. Omo, I almost totally walked past this one. I was way too focused on the rollercoaster that was just up ahead. Don’t worry Taeyeon, we’ll get there, I told myself. “Mian Hayeonie. Let’s get in line.”

“Unnies come on!”

“We’re coming, we’re coming, jeesh. Maybe if you weren’t running,” Tiffany teased as she made a silly face. Hayeon retuned it just as the next voice spoke.

“It looks like we should be on the next round,” Seohyun said.

“Ah jinjja?” She nodded. “Good. I hope the lines aren’t long today.”

“Me too. I really want to go on that rollercoaster,” Tiffany said as she pointed to the farthest one away. I smiled. She did look pretty excited.

“We will Fany-ah. We’ll do all of it,” I said. “I really want to go see all the animals.”

“Ooh! Me too, me too,” my sister shouted.

“You know, I don’t think we’ve been spotted by too many people,” I said after a minute or so. Maybe the sunglasses we were all wearing really did help.

“I don’t know about that Tae. I see quite a few people looking at us.” I looked around. Okay maybe I was beginning to see a few more, but that could totally be explained in other ways right? They didn’t find us out yet, did they? I looked at Tiffany.

Oh good lord. No wonder they were staring. Tiffany looked damn good today, even more so than usual I should say.

Her jeans were skin tight, effortlessly showing off her perfect curves. Her form fitting sleeveless blouse didn’t help much either. Yeah, that definitely had to be the reason why. Jesus. How did I not notice this before? Oh crap, now I’m staring, and maybe starting to drool a little. Omo. I grinned.

“I think they’re just looking because you’re such babe, babe,” I said quietly. I immediately watched her face for a reaction.

Calling others by pet names, like babe or baby, has always seemed so weird to me. I just never have seemed to fully understand it. I don’t even know what it was or why, there was just something about it. Maybe it was just me though. The longer I’m with Tiffany however, the more naturally it comes out, or tries to at least. I usually catch myself before I say it. Wouldn’t it be even weirder for me to just start calling her that all of a sudden? I don’t know. She seemed to really enjoy it however.

Her eyebrows rose up just as the corners of did a little. I’m sure if her sunglasses weren’t so big I’d be able to see her start blushing as well. Hmm. Maybe I would have to keep that up.

“Oh my god,” Tiffany said in English as we stepped off the ride. “We can’t do that again.” I didn’t see why not! I thought it was fun. It definitely made me dizzy, but I wouldn’t mind riding it again, and again. I seriously loved stuff like this.

“I should have stayed home,” Seohyun said. “Sunny unnie should have come. She loves this kind of stuff way more than I do.”

“Ahh jinjja,” I asked. She nodded. Waah. Why are Sunny and I so alike? Our friendship was clearly meant to be, I decided with a laugh.

”We could hear you all screaming down here,” my mom commented once we reached her. “Especially Tiffany-ah.” She embarrassedly laughed. Aigo!

“Let’s go to the next one!” Hayeon then took off with Seohyun in hand. I could hear Seohyun groaning as she got pulled. I grinned shook my head, what are we going to do with those two?

“SNSD!”

Oh no.

That was when the chaos started. I heard a yell come from ahead. I started to move toward them. I didn’t want the two of them to get swarmed, especially Hayeon, but then I felt a hand hold me back. I turned quickly to see that it was one of the security guards. I noticed that they were now almost on top of us, well two of them. I heard more fans start calling our names. Aish!

I looked to where my sister was and saw the other two quickly putting their training to use and keeping people from approaching Seohyun.

“I’m actually pretty surprised we made it this far,” I heard Tiffany say. I guess she was right. The park busy today.

“I’m sorry oppa,” were the first words I heard when the two girls reached us. I shook my head.

“Ani, don’t be. I knew it was going to happen Hayeonie. It’s not your fault.”

“Do-Do we have to leave now?” I looked to my manager. That was a good question. I really hoped not, I mean we only went on one ride!

“I don’t think so. I think we’ll be able to keep it under control,” he said while looking to the security guards. “Right?”

“Ne, sir. We just ask that you from now on stay together. No separating.” That made sense, I said in my head.

“We can do that,” hyung replied. “Is there anywhere quieter we can go for a while so the buzz can die down a little though?”

“We can go back to the offices if you’d like,” one of them suggested. Ugh, I didn’t want to do that!

“Oh, they could go to the Safari Zone,” another said. Ooh I liked the sound of that!

“Ah that’s right! There’s a bus that will take you around and look at animals out in a habitat. I think it takes around 45 minutes?”

“That’d be perfect. Right everyone?” I nodded. Wah! That was going to be awesome.

“That’s fine with me,” Seohyun responded. “Me too,” Tiffany that time. I looked to Hayeon.

“Hayeon?”

“W-we’ll get to ride more rides though, right?” She looked a little worried. Aigo.

“Of course Hayeon,” I laughed. “We’re just going to go look at the animals first. okay?”

“Okay! I just want unnie to ride that big rollercoaster before we go.” I quickly looked at Fany who was equally as confused as I. I nudged the frozen girl beside me.

“Oh, uh Hayeon-ah we don’t have to ride it,” she said. “We’re here for your birthday celebration, so let’s do what you want to,” she smiled.

“Aniyo, I want to ride it and I know you want to ride it too,” she said with a small laugh. “So we double have to now!” A small hand grabbed mine. “Oppa let’s go.” It blew my mind that she was so caring for being only 10. That totally must run in the family. I laughed and started walking once I felt a slight tug.

The journey to the Safari area probably took at least twice as long as it should have with all the people stopping to look or take pictures of us. Surprisingly though, the fans there weren’t being too ridiculous or intrusive. For the most part they kept their distance and just waved or called out to us. I tried to wave back to as many people as I could.

There were a few however that apparently didn’t know their boundaries. There was one boy who would not stop trying to approach us. Screaming things like ‘I love you’ and calling out for both Seohyun and my Tiffany. I was not going to have that.

After repeated attempts at trying to get past our security guards however, the park had him escorted out. Thankfully.

Eventually, we had arrived at the area we needed to be to get on the safari bus. We already passed a few animals on the way over, but we didn’t get to stay long to see them, due to all the people. Hopefully this safari made up for it.

We waited a few minutes while my manager and another staff member talked to what I was guessing was the person in charge here. They were trying to get us our own bus, so we wouldn’t be surrounded people here as well.

“Alright let’s go,” hyung said as he made his way toward us. He then led us on to an orange bus that they have had customized to look like a tiger.

“Oppa, this is so cool!” I didn’t disagree. It had teeth and everything!

We got inside and I quickly took a seat next to the window right behind Hayeon. I was not missing out on this. I watched as my mom and the SNSD girls then made their way aboard. My mom took a seat toward the front where hyung was sitting, but Tiffany… Omo. Tiffany sat right beside me.

“Fany-ah,” I whispered.

“Oh calm down Taetae,” she said causing me to smile. "It’s only the six of us, plus the driver. Your manager seems to be already doing a good job at distracting him too.” I looked ahead and she was right. There they were, all three of them chatting away like old friends. Older people killed me sometimes. They could literately start a conversation with anyone, anywhere. I felt a hand slip in to mine. Looking to Tiffany again I could see her smiling the most beautiful smile. “So, I’m sitting here. Got it?” I nodded.

“If everyone would please stay seated though the ride I would be very thankful,” the driver started announcing over a speaker. “Welcome to our Safari Tour.” We all clapped and cheered a little for him.

As we started driving a thought popped in my head. “Ah! Fany-ah, switch me seats.”

“What? Why?”

“So you can see things better,” I replied. She smiled softly.

“But you’re the one that really wanted to do this,” she countered. Ugh, she apparently wasn’t catching on.

“Just switch me, please~,” I whined. I heard her sigh.

“Fine. Move.” I cheered a little in my head before standing a tad so she could slide over. I sat down especially close to her this time. “What do you think you’re doing Kim Taeyeon,” she said in her y, playful way.

I grinned. “Well how else do you expect me to see the animals Fany-ah?”

She rolled her eyes before she spoke up again, louder this time too. “You can’t touch the animals, right?” I looked at her. Did she really just ask that?

“Unnie, how would you touch them,” Hayeon asked from in front of us. “We’re in a bus.”

“Yah, I don’t know. I’ve never been on one of these,” she retorted back. “Wah! Is that for real,” she shouted.

I looked to where she was pointing and there was a huge white tiger just lying on a rock. Wow! Daebak! Looking at Tiffany beside me, I laughed. She was way more excited than I expected her to be about all of this. Even more so than Hayeon, and she was 10!

“Of course it’s real Fany-ah,” I said as I took her hand in mine. She flashed me a warm smile before being brought back what was happening outside.

“A LION,” my sister yelled.

“Wow,” Tiffany marveled as she stood up a little. “I want one as a pet!” I laughed aloud.

“A lion?” She nodded excitedly. “It’ll hurt you though and I can’t allow that,” I said as if she were actually getting one.

“Ani, mine will be nice and cute and it will let me play with it. Ahh, it’s so pretty,” she called out again causing me to grin even wider.

“Look there’s another one,” Seohyun said as she pointed.

“Ah, look look look. Taeyeon look at that,” Tiffany said excitedly. I could not stop smiling. I think it was more entertaining to watch Tiffany go through the safari than it was to see it for myself. She was seriously so adorable. I really don’t think I’ve ever seen her this excited, but god was it cute.

We then went through a section with a lot of bears in it. Tiffany wasn’t as excited for this one, but her hold on my hand never left, and I couldn’t be happier. The bus driver then told us that if we stuck our tongue out at the bear he would do it back.

“Ehhhh,” Hayeon voiced as she stuck hers out toward him. To my surprise he actually did it back. I really didn’t think it would! It was a bear for crying out loud.

“Oh my god. It even sticks its tongue out,” Seohyun said. She seemed to be really enjoying herself too, which I was glad. I really hoped she didn’t feel left out today. I was trying my best to include her, but I guess it wasn’t working very well so far. Maybe I needed to try a little harder.

___________________________________________________________________________________

“Ah, that ended too quickly,” a voice from beside me rang. I looked around.

“It’s over already,” I asked. He nodded back at me with a sad little grin.

A few minutes later we were stepping of the bus. I couldn’t help thinking about how pretty those lions and tigers were, gah!

“Didn’t you just want to touch the animals,” I asked to no one in particular.

“Yeah, totally,” my handsome boyfriend replied with a smile.

“I seriously want to keep one and raise it!” Wah, how precious would a baby one of those be though? I couldn’t even imagine.  Oh my god. “I want a pet tiger!”

“Tiffany, I already told you that I won’t allow that,” Taeyeon said playfully as he came up to my side.

“Yah,” I said acting angry. “I’ll do it anyway.” I stuck my tongue out and then ran off. I heard his footsteps quicken and then a pair of hands on my hips.

“Ahha! I-“

“WAAAH~! TIFFANY! AHH! TAEYEON OPPA!” ! We had just cleared the fence of where we couldn’t be seen and were now in full view of all the people waiting for us.

His hands immediately dropped from my waist and we both froze. Thank god we weren’t doing anything more than we were. I quickly smiled and waved to the fans that had gathered as I waited for the rest of our little group to catch up. More screams erupted once Seohyun was in full view.

“Well, what do we do now? The crowd hasn’t gone down any.”

“If anything it’s doubled,” I added. Seohyun and Taeyeon both shot me a look. What? It’s the tru- Oh no. Hayeon looked upset. Oh god what do I do? “Uhm, but we can still play around, right oppa?” I looked hopefully to Taeyeon’s manager.

“It’s up to you all. We can stay and endure it or we can leave.”

“Let’s stay,” Taeyeon immediately spoke. I nodded.

“I’m okay with staying too. We still have to ride that roller coaster right Hayeon-ah?” She smiled at me as her face lit up.

“Yeah! Let’s go!” She grabbed Taeyeon’s hand and started pulling. Seohyun quickly matched pace with them and caught up. Ugh! I was about to call out for them to wait on me, but then I heard a soft voice from behind me.

“Tiffany?” I turned to see that it was Taeyeon’s mother.

“Ne umm-eomonim,” I quickly corrected. I didn’t need fans hearing that, that’s for sure.

“Thank you for back there with Hayeon. She really looks up to you.” Me? I thought Sunny was her favorite of us? “She’s always wanted a sister and now that she knows about you two,” she said quietly. “She’s starting to think of you as one. I’m sorry if it becomes a bother or-“

“Ani. It’s not at all,” I said. I was completely touched. I’ve known the girl for less than 12 hours and she already thinks of me as a sister? I looked to the little girl ahead of me who was now holding the hands of two of the people closest to me.

All I could think about though, is how? I haven’t done anything spectacular really, I didn’t even say that much to her. Oh my, I needed to change. She was Taeyeon’s sister, his only sibling! I would definitely be a better unnie from here on out. “Thank you for telling me that eomonim,” I said with a smile.

“Don’t thank me, it’s just the truth. I’m the one that should be thanking you anyway,” she said causing me to laugh.

“Eomonim, you just did!” She laughed a little with me and shook her head as I saw cameras flash in Taeyeon’s direction. Not just any flashes either, those were paparazzi. Ugh, I should’ve known they would have been here soon.

“No, I want to thank you for being so good to Taeyeon.” Wait…

“Uh, what?”

“I’ve never seen my son as happy as he was a few minutes ago on that bus with you,” she said. Wait a minute. Was he even that happy? Whoops. I guess I wasn’t paying much attention. The animals were so fascinating. Sorry Taetae, I mentally apologized. “He wasn’t even that happy when he found out he was going to debut, actually he was more relieved that day, but that’s not my point.”

“Jin-jinjja,” I hesitantly asked. I know I was so happy on the day I found out I was going to debut. Now that I’m thinking about it though, when I think about Taeyeon I can’t even find the right word to describe the feeling he gives me. It was more than just happy, it was more than just feeling warm all over. That’s how I knew he was special.

“Yes Tiffany. He must really love you,” she laughed. Wait, what was so funny about that? I quickly looked to the woman next to me. She must have noticed. “Sorry, it’s just that the first girlfriend he ever gets is a beautiful superstar. Isn’t it funny?”

Hold on a second. I was his first girlfriend… ever? Holy . How did I not know this? Did I know this? I tried to think back to our past conversations of my few ex-boyfriends and my first kiss, but I don’t remember his stories at all. That was something someone like me definitely would have remembered too. Had he really gotten out of telling me this? Omo, he totally had some explaining to do later.

“Tiffany?”

“Wh-Oh. yeah,” I forced a chuckle. ”It is kind of funny how it worked out.”

“Come on slowpokes,” Hayeon called back to us. “We’re almost there!” I looked up. She was totally right on that one. The roller coaster was getting bigger and bigger with every step I took toward it. I looked to Taeyeon’s mom and she nodded me on. Woo!

I quickened my pace and caught up with the three ahead of me. “Are you ready for this one Hayeonie?”

“Ne, oppa. It’s going to be so fun!”

“I read on a sign somewhere that this is the steepest wooden roller coaster in the world,” Seohyun spoke up.

“Really?” She nodded. “Wow, this is going to be awesome,” Taeyeon commented. It would be even better when I was sitting beside him on the roller coaster holding his hand. I glanced at his hand, which was being death gripped by his sister. Oh no, she would obviously want to ride with him. Unless…

“Hayeon-ah,” she looked at me. “Do you want to go on this with unnie?” I needed to do a better job with her today. God, but I was so bad with kids.

She looked back and forth between the two of us. Taeyeon started laughing.

“Hayeonie, if you want to you can. I’ll just ride it with Seohyun-ah! Don’t worry about me,” he said cheerfully.

“Jinjja?” he nodded. “Then yeah! I want to ride it with unnie,” she said with a smile. Omo. Those two even have the same dorky grin. She was unfortunately missing the cute little chin dimples her brother had. What a shame. I felt a tiny hand come in to mine. “Come on, let’s go~!” She continued to pull Seohyun and I along with her.

A little while later we arrived at the platform to board the ride. With our security’s help, they let us ditch the whole line, which I felt kind of bad about. What else could we do though? They couldn’t shut down the whole ride for us, so I guess this was the next best solution.

We were in the front two seats when the ride started taking off. “Hayeon-ah are you ready,” I asked the awkwardly silent girl beside me. I saw her nod her head as her hand found mine again. Omo, she was totally scared. “Hey, it’s going to be really fun. I promise.” The car we were in had started climbing the huge drop, oh no. That was the steepest in the world. Oh god what do I do? Taeyeon and Seohyun were in the next row back, but they obviously couldn’t help. “If you close your eyes it won’t be as scary Hayeon.”

“Jin-jja?”

“Yep, and squeeze my hand if it gets too scary okay?” I saw her immediately close her eyes. We were becoming closer and closer to the top. “Hayeon, we’re about to start,” I warned. Then we dropped.

Fast too. Twisting, turning, and most annoyingly shaking. I think due to the fact that it was a wooden roller coaster it shook like no other. It was definitely different than any other roller coaster than I’ve been on, but it was amazing. I could hear Taeyeon and Seohyun screaming behind me and Hayeon beside me repeating “Omo, omo, omo.” Her grip was tight, but nothing too bad. Ugh, I really hope she didn’t ride this just because I wanted to.

Soon the ride was over. We stepped out on to the platform and Taeyeon was quickly to Hayeon’s side. “Hey are you okay?” She nodded. “Here, hop on.” He bent down and let her get on his back. I couldn’t help but smile. Seeing the way he acted around children made me so happy for some reason. I remember even back on Hello Baby he was so good with Kyungsan. He was going to be such a good dad one day- oh my god, why am I thinking about this right now? I shook my head and quickly caught up to the three in front of me.

“Was it fun,” their mom asked as we returned to her.

“Yeah, it was super fun, right Hayeonie?”

“It was okay, Tiffany unnie helped me the whole time!” I smiled hearing that. She was so precious. “But I’m hungry umma.” We all started laughing.

“Oh, well I have food for everyone. Let’s go somewhere and eat.”

We headed to a beautiful garden area full of flowers that had multiple picnic tables set up as well. It was really something. I really hope I could come back with just Taeyeon one day. Or any amusement park really. Just to spend all day hand in hand with him would be fine too.

A few hours later we were finally leaving the park and I was exhausted. Thanks to Hayeon’s running about, I think we literately rode every ride in that that place today. We thanked the security and staff that had helped us all day. Some even wanted pictures with us, which we took while Hanyoung oppa pulled the van around.

“Alright, let’s go,” he said once he arrived. We thanked the staff once more before heading to the van. Taeyeon and I once again occupied the back row while Seohyun and Hayeon the middle.

“I can’t believe it’s already starting to get dark,” Seohyun said as we finally pulled away.

“I know right? Did you all have fun today,” Taeyeon asked.

“Ne, I did.”

“Yeah, oppa! The next time I come we’ll have to do something fun again,” his sister chimed in. “Unnies too.” I smiled as I snuggled closer to Taeyeon.

“Of course. Maybe you can meet Jessica next time too,” I said. She was the only one of us she hasn’t met yet.

“Jinjja,” she asked excitedly. I hummed.

“Oh Taeyeon,” his manager interrupted from the front. “I got a very exciting call earlier why I was getting the van.”

“Oh really,” he said excitedly. “What was it?” I was curious too. Hopefully it had to do something with SNSD too. I loved getting scheduled to do things together.

“You know Jokwon and Gain’s ‘We Fell in Love?’” He hummed. I mean, who didn’t. That was like the song of this past winter with them being On WGM and everything. “They’re doing a different version of the song soon I guess and since Sooyoung is on the show now they want you to do the male vocal. I’m not sure what all the details were. I just know that you’re in!”

“Ah jinjja?!” His manager nodded. “Wow! That’s awesome. Do you know who the girl is going to be?” I was curious too. Would it be someone from our group since Sunny was on the show? If so, it’d probably be Jessica right? Ugh, she always gets all the solo proje-

“IU.” Wait. What? Why?

“Oh, I’ve only met her a few times,” he said. That just did not make any since. She was very talented though. I’m sure their voices would go well together.

“She’s really nice,” Seohyun said from in front of us. “You two should get along well.” I felt him nod. Not too well I hope.

Aish! Why am I being like this? Am I jealous? I thought about it for a second. Oh god.

I was totally jealous. I want to sing a cute song with my boyfriend and have it recorded too. Ooh! Or even preform it on stage. Wah~! That would be so perfect.

What seemed to be a few minutes later I was being called for once again.

“Fany-ah~, Fany~,” his soft voice rang.

“Emm,” I voiced as I stretched my arms a little, which was hard to do since they were around this cutie beside me. Oh no. “We’re already back?” I looked up at him and he nodded. Ugh! I crashed my head back down on him. “I don’t wanna go,” I said softly as I tightened my grip around him. Seriously, I was so mad at myself for falling asleep again. I was hoping I would be able to remember the past hour in his arms, but nope! My body had other plans.

“I don’t want you to either,” he cutely said back. “But Umma and Hayeonie have to make their train in an hour.”

“Oh? They’re leaving tonight?” He nodded. I thought they would at least wait until the morning. I noticed Hayeon was looking back at us now. “Well, in that case,” I started. “I should give you my number, so you can text me whenever you want.” I said to the younger girl. Her eyes lit up.

“Jinjja?”

“Of course,” I cheered. “We’re friends now right?”

“I left my phone at oppa’s dorm,” she said sadly. Aigo.

“Don’t worry, just have Taeyeon give it to you later then. Okay?” I looked to Taeyeon and back to his sister. “Oh and if umma wants my number, you should give it to her as well.” He was grinning wide now. I guess he really did love me calling her that.

“Okay, okay. You really have to go though. They haven’t even packed.”

“Aish! Fine. I love you Taeyeon,” I said before I planted a quick kiss on his cheek. I then moved my way up to hug Hayeon.

“Bye unnie. I hope I get to see you next time,” she said as she wrapped her little arms around me.

“You definitely will. Just let me know okay?” She nodded.

“Bye Seohyun unnie!”

I got out of the van to say goodbye to the final person tonight. “It was nice meeting and spending time with you Tiffany. You too Seohyun,” she smiled. “Please continue taking such good care of my son,” she said as she pulled me in to a big hug. Omo.

“Ne, I promise I will umma.” There was no doubt in my mind about that one actually. As she released I could see she had a big smile on her face, the same smile both of her children now had.

“Good. Oh and I promise to make you more of the cheese kimbap you ate so well today for next time,” she laughed. I felt the embarrassment roll in. I may or may not have eaten way more of that today than I should have, and by more than I should have, I mean almost all of it… It was delicious though, I couldn’t stop myself!

“Ah,” I started. “Please do. It was fantastic.” Shoot! They had to hurry! “Please umma, go first. I don’t want you two to be late.”

“Oh! That’s right. I’ll see you soon Tiffany-ah. You too Seohyun-ah, it was so nice meeting you.”

“You too eomonim! Thank you for everything today.”

We watched the woman step back in to the van and then we quickly made our way in to our building. This was one of the best days I’ve had in a long time.

I come back to this story every few months and re-read the entire thing aswell as the few chapters of the sequel. Hands down one of the best fan fictions I’ve read for this ship and my favourite overall! The writing is consistently great the whole way through and never strays off the plot.I hope someday you will comeback and finish the sequel. More importantly I hope you are happy and healthy and doing well! Thank you !
