“How’s my wife doctor?”

“Nothing to worry of Minho. Her blood pressure is slightly lower than the normal and she might be tired or stressed out. I heard from her that Minri is always crying so it might be because she lack of sleep too. She gains conscious earlier and told the nurse that she was still dizzy. Maybe she freaks out when she saw blood comes out from her cut and that is why she fainted.”

“Oh.”

Minho responds shortly after and the doctor chuckles.

“You must have been scared.”

“Deh. She never. Ani. Never once she fail to wait for me when I come home. I think a lot. You know how she suffer when she was pregnant with Minri.”

“Ara. I understand your worries. Go and see her now. Sulli is already fully awake.”

“Thank you again doctor.”

“It’s my pleasure to help.”

The doctor pats Minho’s shoulder and then he walks into Sulli’s room.

Sulli looks up when the door creaked open and she frowns in guilt.

“Oppa, I’m sorry.”

Minho shakes his head and rushes to hug his wife so tight that she feels all of his warmth troughout her body; something that she really missed.

“I was afraid.”

Minho said, kissing her hair as he speak.

Sulli nods as she can’t say anything.

Minho stays there, hugging her silently too.

He doesn’t feel to say anything at the moment.

He was just thankful that Sulli is with him now, alive and safe.

He knows it must be God punishing him for his fault.

“Please don’t freak me out like that again yeobo. I can’t live without you.”

Sulli let a few tears of joy out.

Minho still love her like how he use to and she was thankful that she faint because he can hear him say that word again.

The one that he said when she safely deliver baby Minri.

“Gomawoyo.”

She just manage to mutter that word.

“Why did you just pick here?”

Yonghwa asks as he rested his head on the pillow and Shinhye leans on his arm.

“What if Sungjin look for me? He never once are away from me since birth.”

“You want a vacation.”

“But I’m not going to be selfish.”

Shinhye smiled as she look at Yonghwa who look down at her.
Yonghwa had that proud smile so Shinhye is confident that she did a good job.

“I’m a mother. I shouldn’t complaint.”

“You can. Share it with me. I was too busy to even care.”

He kisses Shinhye’s hair.

“Sorry.”

Shinhye shakes her head.

“I chose this. And I’m proud to realize that not all women can do what I do.”

“Yes. You are amazing. Never once fail to amaze me since back then.”

“How long had it been Yong?”

“Couple of years?”

She nods, smiling as she stares at the ceiling.

Gush of emotions fills her heart and she sighs in content.

Almost all of the memories are with Yonghwa.

Now she feel thankful and also guilty at the same time.

She knows it, that Yonghwa didn’t change.

What change is that he loves her more, although he wasn’t a romanticist to show her that every second and minute.

“Yong.”

“Hmm.”

“You know I love you right?”

“More than anything babe.”

“Thank you for not giving up on me.”

“Why would I silly? I’m not going to survive without you. Since the very first we became friends.”

He said in a whisper, he too feel his chest tighten.

The memories comes rushing without warning and he tightens the hold on Shinhye’s body.

“Kenchana?”

She asks when Yonghwa fall silent and stiff by her side.

Raising her head, he saw how red his eyes were.

“Heyy, what’s wrong?”

“Aniya. I just think about our old times.”

“We all miss him Yong but remember, he is now in better place.”

He nods and she kisses his eyes, nose, lips and neck.

Yonghwa then took charge by pinning her down on the mattress.

Shinhye then remember that she doesn’t take her pills with her but she just give in to her husband.

“Skipping a day or two won’t make a difference.”

She thought and helps him when he strips his shirt.

“What happen? How can you get that cut?”

“I trip when I was to get something in Yoogeun’s room.”

“Trips? Are you telling me the truth?”

“Neh oppa. Waeyo?”

“Yoogeunni keeps saying that he was sorry. I.”

“You didn’t think that he made me like this don’t you.”

“Yeobo.”

“Oppa. He is my son. He won’t harm me. How can you think that he will make things like that?”

“I was just wondering. He had been really down and doesn’t want you to tend to him.”

“It take times. We had been really close for years before Minri came in the picture. He was just feeling anxious. What if I love Minri but not him.”

Sulli sighs, shaking her head.

“I’m sorry.”

“It’s fine. But please, don’t let my baby know that. He will be disappointed.”

Minho nods and helps Sulli change her bandage to a new one, kisses her forehead and both smiled at each other.

“Rest.”

“I want to see Yoogeun.”

She said and climbs down the bed, heading to her son who was looking at his sister, shoulder hunched.

She walks to him, as quietly as she can and taps his shoulder.

Yoogeun was startled and cups his mouth to not make any noise and Sulli smiled at that.

“Do you want to sleep with me?”

She asks in a whisper and Yoogeun excitedly nods, smiling brightly.

“Let’s go.”

The mother and son walks hand in hand to Sulli’s room and soon Yoogeun snuggles to her chest like a baby koala and fall asleep.

“Wifey.”

“Hmm.”

Sulli answers as she cook, glancing just shortly to her husband who was sitting on the dining table, legs swinging like a child.

“Should we go on a vacation?”

“Will it be okay? You are busy.”

He hops down from the table and went to Sulli.

She smiles when he hugs her waist, kissing her cheek.

“I can make time.”

“Sure oppa. But let’s go on weekend. Yoogeun has school right?”

“Okay. Should we go to Busan?”

“Busan? Wae?”

“The kids have to know when I fall in love with their omma.”

He grins and snuggles onto Sulli’s neck.

Sulli pats his cheek and switch off the stove.

“Don’t you think it’s too early if you really want them to know?”

“Is it?”

Sulli chuckles, pinching his cheek.

“Let’s go then. I want to show you more places that I fail to show too.”

“What places?”

“Secret.”

She whispers and slightly running from Minho.

Just when Minho was about to catch her, she announce the family to have dinner.

“I’ll make sure to catch you later Choi Jinri.”

He said and can’t stop feel amaze at how just Sulli’s smile can stir his heart again and again.

“I’m not going to sacrifice this happiness ever. I promise.”

He pats his chest, just to remind himself and toss Yoogeun up before catching him despite warning from Sulli.

The boy laughs frantically and soon the smile can be seen in Sulli’s face again.

“Come and eat sweetie.”

She said and Yoogeun quickly went to sit on his chair.

Joonie came to join them a moment later and they starts having dinner with harmony, just like last time.

Shinhye went out of the bathroom while holding her back that ache a lot.

She had been suffering excessive bleeding since last night.

Yonghwa worriedly helps her to the couch in their room, wiping the sweats on her forehead.

“Shin ah? Kenchana? You don’t look good.”

“I don’t know. It’ such a heavy flow.”

“Let’s get you checked neh.”

“I’ll just put on my sweater.”

“Can you walk?”

“Deh.”

“I’ll get the kids ready.”

Shinhye saw that Yonghwa calls his secretary and soon rushed to their kids room.

She feels her head throb as she thinks on why she bleeds too much.

There are even clot-like material that she spots when she went to the bathroom and she gasps.

“Did I suffer a miscarriage?”

Maybe I’ll really complete this story it in the next chapter.
