Chapter 59

We all watched another sunset along the beach with such calmness and this time appreciating it more. Because after having all those troubles the whole day, our tired bodies instantly relaxed seeing the slow setting of the sun.

  “Let’s now build our bonfire!” Sooyoung screamed making everyone flinch of the loudness.

“Yah Choi Sooyoung! Mellow down will you! Although we are at the private part of the resort doesn’t mean that you can go all out with that loud mouth of yours!” Sunny reminded the taller one.

“Whatever Grandmother!” Sooyoung playfully rolled her eyes.

“Go get the fire woods then.” I immediately told Sooyoung when I saw Sunny was about to strangle her neck to end her. I can’t help but shake my head at their silliness.

As I start the fire with Yuri helping me and Sooyoung. Well, she’s more like watching us because we’re afraid that she’d just burn herself accidentally or us vice versa. The light coming from the bonfire illuminates the dark beach. The others had also just finished preparing our dinner as we all gather around to eat.

“Unnie, what are we going to do tomorrow?” Seohyun asked me from across.

“Hmmm I still don’t know. I got distracted today I forgot to plan where to go with Sunny.” I scratch my chin as I reply.

“So, we don’t have a plan yet?” Jessica asked next. I just nod at her as my answer.

“I see, nice thing I get across the lobby earlier with Hyo and took these.” Jessica threw some brochures and pamphlets in the middle of our now empty table. Each and one of us took it and scan its contents.

“Hmmm these are nice. I didn’t know the resort has this kind of activity the last time my cousins were here. It must be new.” I said.

“Taengoo, let’s try that tomorrow! It must be fun! Wake water boarding sounds so cool!” Yuri beamed in excitement she made a loud high five with Hyoyeon.

“Yeah Yul, let’s try that!” Hyoyeon said back in equal glee.

“Have the two of tried that kind of sport before?” Sunny was the one who asked the overly excited duo this time. The two girls just shook their heads to answer.

“Then how are you gonna play that sport?”

“Hmmm, we’ll find a way! Let’s do that tomorrow Taengoo! Please?!” Yuri cutely asked me and Hyoyeon followed her action.

“No! I don’t like water sports. I want to go to the spa and have some quiet and relaxing time! Tiff I heard the massage are the best! Let’s go there!” I watch Jessica persuade Fany while Fany look at me.

“A spa sound nice, I think.” Sunny vouch at Jessica’s plan that made the latter beamed a bright huge smile that she rarely does. That’s when I knew that Sica really wants to go and try the spa.

“Fany do like to go the spa?” I asked her.

“Hmm I think it sounds relaxing since that long bus ride.” She carefully answered me.

“How about you go with Sica and Sunny to the spa? I can’t let these reckless two to plunge into any accidents.” I told her my plan.

“Great! Me and Yoong will look for local foods that we could bring home! We saw some nice store around.” Sooyoung and Yoona swing their long arms in each other’s shoulder.

“Then I think I’ll go with Sooyoung unnie and Yoona unnie.” Seohyun said in a calm tone that made us chuckle.

“Seo, why do you sound like a problematic baby sitter? We will not cause trouble! Promise! Just go with your Sica unnie or with Taeng!” Sooyoung tried to convince the youngest to switch team.

“Nope! That’s the more reason why I should go with the two of you unnies!” We all laugh looking at the three.

“So, are we all settle for tomorrow?!” I asked them.

“Yeah!” Everybody scream at the same time.

“Let’s just all meet for lunch!” Sunny said next.

“Okay! Let’s!” Another round of loud scream filled the night.

“Aw! Look at them!”  Sooyoung couldn’t help but squeal a little bit when she saw Taeyeon and Tiffany already fell asleep beside the bonfire.

“Hoy! Choi Sooyoung what are you doing?” Sunny peek over the taller girl’s shoulder to see the view and eventually smiled upon seeing it.

“Should we wake them up Sunny?” Sooyoung asked her friend beside her.

“Hmmm let’s just leave them like that for a while since all of us are still here. But get them a blanket first.” Sunny answered next.

“Okay! On it!” Sooyoung get up and went to Taeyeon’s tent and took a blanket and then carefully placing it to the now sleeping pair.

The other seven girls continue to chat away all throughout the night while the other two were now peacefully drifted off to dreamland and probably already dreaming about each other in each of their dreams.

 I tried to move my body to the right but my movement got held by an unknown weight. I really need to move now because I couldn’t feel my left arm any more. I tried to open my eyes to see what it is that’s holding half of my body back. I tried blinking one more time to let my eyes adjust to darkness.

All the desire I have to move vanished the moment I finally recognized the sleeping figure beside. I gently touched her forehead and swipe away some hair that covers her face. I couldn’t help but smile seeing her peaceful face.

The wind is getting colder and the blanket that our friends covered us can’t protect us from the chilly air. So, I decided to take her to our tent now. I can’t understand why they didn’t wake us up, now I must try to carry Fany inside without waking her up. I placed my arm under her neck and her thighs so I could carry her properly. I breathe in a lungful of air and prepare myself for the weight.

‘I can do this! Don’t drop her Taeng!’ I get up and scooped ourselves
