"What's the problem with that?" 

You had just told Sehun everything. From the first day to the current one. Sehun already knew you liked Lay, it was obvious. He thought it was great that Lay finally found out, even if it was through an embarrassing encounter.

You pouted at him and buried your face in your hands,"I can't face him! It's too embarrassing and weird! You don't understand Sehun. You know Im a shy person! I can't face him after something like this!"

Sehun chuckled and pinched your cheek,"Jina, Im pretty sure Lay likes you too. I swear to you, ever since the first year of school, Lay's never interacted with a girl, and you're the only one he has. That's saying something."

"But, Im just friendly! He even told me that he likes me cause I don't throw myself at him like other girls do. He likes me as a normal friend." You sadly sighed,"It can never be."

"Don't conclude this on your own, Jina. Im a hundred percent sure that he likes you! From a guy's perspective, he's totally into you." Sehun smirked,"You want to find out?"

"How?" You mumbled.

"Go out with me!" Sehun smiled.

You gawked at him,"Excuse me? I don't think I like you that way. You know I like Yixing." 

Sehun rolled his eyes,"Pretending here Jina." He pointed to himself. Sehun shook his head,"Anyway, maybe if we make him jealous, he'd finally flip out and confess his dying love to you."

You scrunched your face and thought about it. Then you shook your head,"No, I don't want to play around with Yixing's feelings. That's mean."

Sehun gave you a little shove on the forehead. You winced and covered your head,"Ouch! Sehun what was that for?" Sehun laughed and kissed his index finger and pressed it on your forehead,"Im sorry. Did it hurt that much?"

You pouted and nodded,"Yes, it did!"

Sehun just laughed some more and pulled you up from the bench. He decided he'd take you to class. You happily nodded your head and walked beside Sehun. 

Lay watched you talk with Sehun. He didn't like how Sehun 'kissed' your forehead. It wasn't really a kiss, but it was close enough. He chased after you from your house, but he saw you cry to Sehun. He didn't want to bother you. So, he just watched from afar. 

He couldn't hear the conversation between you two, but you looked comfortable with him. Lay became a little irritated with Sehun's touchy hands. Lay remembered that one time in dance class when Sehun picked you up. 

Lay grumbled words,"Why is he so close to her? Does he like her too?!" Lay sighed against the wall and hit his head,"Why did I have to be there reading her diary? I shouldn't have done that. I have to apologize...but she likes me too?" A smile formed on his lips and he chuckled.

He started making his way toward class. Sumin ran up beside him,"Hey."

"Hey." Lay side glanced her.

Sumin wondered what was on his mind,"What did you think?"

"About?" Lay asked.

"Her diary!" Sumin slapped his arm,"And what were you guys doing with it anyway? How'd you find it? I didn't even know she had one!" 

Lay rubbed his arm and shrugged,"Tao found it...I didn't mean to listen, but she suddenly started to talk about me and I just couldn't help but listen. Then she said she liked me and..."

"And..." Sumin waited for him to finish.

"And I was happy to hear that." Lay had a warm smile on his face. Sumin smiled too. She was happy Lay felt the same way about you. Now all she had to worry about was you. "Did you find Jina?"

Lay shook his head with a small frown,"Yes and no. Well, when I found her she was with Sehun and I didn't want to disturb them cause she was crying..."

"Crying?!" Sumin shouted.

Lay nodded,"Yeah. We shouldn't have read her diary." Lay felt depressed from seeing you cry. You must've been so scared and shocked to see them read your precious diary. "What do I do?" Lay ran his fingers through his hair.

Sumin sighed and patted his shoulder,"Don't worry. Im sure she's just scared of what you might think of her now. Knowing Jina, she won't hate you or anything...when she well, obviously likes you. As you already know." She laughed a bit. "Just talk to her later. Okay?"

Lay glanced at Sumin and smirked,"So, when are you going to tell Luhan you love him?"

Sumin gave him a look and scoffed,"Please boy, I already did the first time we met, remember? Plus, he's not taking me seriously." Sumin blinked a couple of times and shrugged,"Well, I don't blame him. I easily tell the whole world I love him, but I can't help it. I just love him." 

Sumin giggled and walked ahead of Lay,"I'll hope to hear some good news by the end of the day?" She winked at him and skipped toward their class. 

Lay watched Sumin skip away and laughed,"I wish I could say it as easy as you." 

The after school bell rang and students rushed out of the classrooms to get out. You avoided everyone. Including Sumin, who understood your actions, since she was hanging out with Exo-M. 

Lay looked everywhere for you with each break, but you were no where in sight. He decided to wait till after school to talk to you. 

You hurried after changing clothes and rushed out the locker room. You spotted Lay leaning against the opposite wall, waiting for you casually. He stood up straight and gave you a awkward wave,"Hi."

You gripped your bag and stepped back,"H-Hi." You didn't look at him and occupied your eyes with your shoes. 

Lay frowned when you weren't meeting his eyes and stepped toward you. When he was right in front of you, he tapped your nose. 

You gasped when he was right in front of your face. Lay smiled at you,"Ready for our adventure?"

Adventure? You completely forgot about hanging out with Lay after school. Lay grabbed your hand and led you out the school.

You passed by Exo-M and Sumin. Exo-M gave you pouts and mouthed,'Sorry.' to you. You just smiled at them. Sumin winked at you and gave you thumbs up. 

Good luck, Jina! Sumin breathed in and hugged Luhan's arm,"When are you going to fall in love with me too? Then we could go on a double date."

Luhan narrowed his eyes at her,"Who said Im supposed to fall in love with you. I'd rather eat tofu for the rest of my life."

Sumin secretly winced when Luhan said those words. She let go of his arm,"Right. Now why did I fall in love with someone like you."

Luhan blinked at her,"What?"

Exo-M glanced at each other and stepped away from the two. 

Sumin shook her head and walked away from him. She spotted Sehun,"Sehun-ah~! Let's get ice cream." Luhan's mouth was open as he watched her leave him for Sehun. 

Sehun rolled his eyes when he heard Sumin call after him. He turned around and was about to snap a retort at her when he noticed her hurt expression as she walked towards him. 

He sighed. What's up with these girls being sad today?

"Aish, come on. Today it's on me. But just this once, got it?" Sehun grabbed her arm and dragged her away from school. 

Sumin laughed and wiped her eyes before Sehun could see, who could hear her sniffing but pretended not to notice. "Yah, where do you want to eat?"

Lay was still holding onto your hand while the two of you walked down the streets. "Where should we go today?" Lay muttered to himself. 

You kept glancing at his hand holding onto yours. His hand was warm and you were worrying if your hands were to sweaty and clammy. You were really nervous.

"We should eat. Im hungry. Then we can have a little picnic at the park. Is that a good plan?" Lay asked you, making you jolt in surprise,"Y-Yeah."

Lay smiled and pulled you into a market. He went straight to the junk food aisle and grabbed a few different bags of junk food. You just watched him pick whatever he wanted. 

After Lay payed for the junk food, you both continued walking toward your final destination, the park. The whole time, Lay didn't let go of your hand, even while you both were shopping, he didn't let go. You were sure your fingers were sweaty, but Lay still kept holding onto you. 

The park was empty, except for the playing kids and watching moms. You both sat on a hill, watching the whole park. It was the perfect weather to be out, and you were enjoying the sun. 

"Here." Lay held out two Pokey boxes. "Strawberry or Chocolate?"

You looked at the two different flavors and pointed to the chocolate one,"Chocolate." 

"I was certain you'd pick the strawberry flavor cause it's pink." Lay smirked and handed the chocolate one to you. You smiled and shook your head,"I like the chocolate one better."

Lay was glad to see you smile again while casually talking to him. Both of you ate your snacks and just enjoyed the view in silence. You were happy you didn't have to talk to each other to enjoy one another's company. Sooner or later you'd have to talk to him.

"About your diary," Lay started off while looking at his Pokey box,"I apologize for all of us. It was wrong to look at something so private. Im sorry if we hurt you." 

You took a small bite from your pokey stick and nibbled on it for a few seconds. Then you answered Lay.

"It's fine, Yixing. It's been done already." You hugged your knees,"It's just embarrassing, cause you read it too."

You hid your face into your legs and closed your eyes. It became silent again. Lay watched your ears turn red and he couldn't help but chuckle a bit. It was cute to see you like that.

You slowly peeked at him and Lay smiled at you. You pouted and hid your face again,"See! You must think Im weird and stuff now! Like a stalker or something." 

That made Lay laugh harder. He stopped once he noticed you shaking. Lay heard you sniff and he instantly went to your side right away,"Jina, Im sorry, I didn't mean to laugh at you!"

Lay tried to pull you away from your legs and he raised your tear-stained face up. Your cheeks were red and your lips were quivering. Just like the first day he met you at the lockers. 

Lay showed you a dimple and wiped your face softly with his slender fingers. You blinked up at him and stared at his face. He gently wiped your face dry and smiled brighter,"There, a dry face." 

"Sorry for laughing, but I just thought you were cute." Lay grinned and let go of our face. He scratched his cheeks,"Also, I couldn't help but continue reading about what you wrote about me...I've never been confessed to, or seen a love letter just for me. But I thought what you wrote about me was very sweet." 

Oh, dear. He's rejecting me. You looked down at your fingers. 

"I was also very happy, I couldn't stop reading." Lay softly mumbled. 

You quickly looked up at Lay, who was blushing like a maniac. You felt something tingle inside you and your heart felt so warm. 

Lay cleared his throat and looked your straight in the eye,"Kang Jina."

"Yes." You whispered.

"I-I like you! Will you be my girlfriend!" Lay expressed in a cute way. He said it quickly while stuttering a bit from being nervous. 

Your cheeks became red again and you covered them. All of a sudden you felt dizzy with excitement. You felt like jumping up and down like a child. You were just too happy. 

Lay watched your reaction and waited patiently for your answer, even if he already had a hunch on what it was going to be. 

"Yes!" You cried and tackled Lay with a hug.

That caught Lay off guard and he quickly caught the both of you before falling down the hill. You hugged him tightly as happy tears streamed down your face. 

Lay chuckled and he patted the back of your head. "I guess Sumin's going to hear her happy news."
