Meeting

Crazy?

Seungho’s POV

“Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry.” A female voice said before the door slam shut.

Like as if someone slapped me, my eyes shot open to find her staring at me. I quickly moved back, almost falling off the bed. Why did I kiss her!?

“Sor… sorry… sorry!” I apologized quickly.

She looked away, pouting.

“I’m so sorry.” I apologized again.

She did not say anything, which was pretty scary.

“Why?” She asked, sounding upset.

“Why? Why what?” I asked timidly.

She turned to glare at me. Uh oh~

“OF ALL TIMES TO KISS SOMEONE, WHY WHEN THEY HAVE NOT BRUSHED THEIR TEETH OR FRESHEN UP!? WHY!?” She yelled.

What?

“Huh?” I looked at her, confused.

“Aish! Move!” She pushed me off the bed and half hop to the toilet.

Is she angry because I kissed her or is she angry because I kissed her before she brushed her teeth? What is wrong with this girl!?

She came out after awhile, hair tied up into a messy bun and looking fresh. She leaned against the door, glaring at me.

“Sorry.” I apologized again.

“Do you go around kissing people and then apologize?” She asked.

“Huh? No! No! I don’t go around kissing people! I don’t!” I explained hurriedly.

She shrugged her shoulders and hopped back to the bed.

“I’m not that old.” She laughed when I went over to help her.

“Yea, but still, you’re injured.” I said, helping her sit down.

“Yea, yea~” She mumbled, making faces at me.

“So rude.” I said.

“Who is ruder? Kissing someone out of a sudden.” She mumbled.

“I’m sorry!” I apologized again.

“Why do you keep apologizing? Do you regret it?” She asked.

“Regret?” I asked.

“We should only apologize when we regret something we did, no?” She asked.

“You aren’t angry?” I asked.

“Were you expecting a slap?” She asked.

I nodded, and she laughed out loud, banging her head against the side of the table as she leaned sideways.

“Ouch!!!” She whined.

“Oh goodness. Are you okay?! Stupid!” I laughed, rubbing her head.

“Did you just call me stupid!?” She glared.

She raised her hand to try punch me, but I guess her wound hurt her again because she whined.

“Stop moving! You’re in no position to move.” I laughed as I pushed her back down onto the bed.

She pouted and smacked my arm weakly.

“I brought nom nom.” I said, pulling out a lunch box from my bag.

“Woah!” She sat up, eyes wide, grinning widely.

“Kimbap.” I said as I opened the cover of the lunch box.

“Did you make this?” She asked.

“Huh?” I looked at her.

“Of course not. Where in the world would you find the time to make this? Even if you had the time, who am I for you to waste time on making this?” She mumbled, but I could still hear.

“No…” I said.

“No?” She asked.

“I would spend the time to make it for you if I knew how to.” I said softly.

“Oh.” She bit her lower lip.

“But… I cut it up. Can you… consider it as effort?” I asked.

She laughed and nodded.

“Of course, of course. Do you know how important cutting up the kimbap is?” She asked.

I shook my head.

“Firstly, if you don’t cut the kimbap, it wouldn’t be able to fit into this box.” She slammed the box onto the table, startling me.

“Secondly, if you have no skills in cutting the kimbap, by the end of it, it’ll only be kim with no bap because all the rice would have fallen out.” She continued to explain.

I looked at her, wanting to see how much more reasons can she come up with.

“Thirdly, kimbap has to be cut up equally, because if you cut them up one smaller or bigger than another, the smaller piece would feel inferior and the bigger piece would feel fat. It affects their morale as a kimbap, and ultimately, it affects the taste of it.

She looked at me, trying to suppress her laughter.

“What else?” I asked, giggling.

“Kimbap… if you serve someone a kimbap without cutting it, it is rude.” She said.

“Why?” I asked.

“Because… it’s… very ugly.” She said, giggling as well.

“Why is it ugly?” I asked.

She looked at me, her cheeks turning red.

“So? Why is it ugly?” I asked.

“You really want me to say it?” She asked, giggling hard.

“Yea, say it.” I said.

“You sure?” She asked again.

“Yes. Say it.” I said.

“It’ll look like you’re serving someone…” She looked at me, as thou hoping I would stop her.

“Serving someone what?” I asked.

“Your junior.” She said with a straight face.

My eyes widened, so did hers.

“WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” She yelled, burying her face into the pillow.

I laughed until my stomach hurt.

“WHY ARE YOU SO DIRTY MINDED!?” I laughed.

“You were thinking of the same thing! You just made me say it!” She yelled, her voice slightly muffled because of the pillow.

True. I was thinking of the same thing, I knew she was too, I just did not expect her to actually say it. The both of us looked up at each other after awhile. Her cheeks were flushed and her hair was messed up.

“How am I going to eat this now!?” She pouted.

“Close your eyes and eat it.” I chuckled.

“ISN’T IT WORSE!? OH MY GOD IT’S LIKE…. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!” She threw the pillow into my face.

“I never knew you were so dirty minded.” I .

“Oh my goodness.” She pinched the bridge of her nose and lie back down onto the bed.

I took the chance to drop a piece of kimbap into .

“Is it nice?” I asked teasingly as she chewed.

Her eyes widened, and then she spit the rice out onto my face.

“Thanks.” I mumbled as I wiped off the rice on my face.

“Aren’t you going to work?” She asked.

The both of us had calm down and she finished the kimbap after all.

“Why? Can’t wait to see me go?” I asked.

“Nooooooooooo~” She dragged her voice.

“I’ll have to leave soon.” I said, looking at my watch.

“Ouh.” She pouted.

“I’ll come back thou.” I smiled.

“No need.” She said coldly.

“Why?” I asked, feeling slightly disappointed.

“Because I’m leaving too.” She laughed.

Just as I was about to say something, there was a knock on the door.

“Stubborn sshi, how are you doing today?” A male doctor asked.

He obviously did not notice my presence.

“Super good!” Minji smiled.

He smiled at her and patted her head. He did not look any older than we were. The way he looked and smiled at her does not seem like how a doctor would look and smile at his patient. I cleared my throat to make my presence known.

He turned around and looked at me, and then looked at Minji.

“Your friend?” He asked.

She nodded.

“Hi~” I greeted casually.

“Hi.” He mumbled as he looked back down on his files.

How rude~

“You can go, but you….” He was cut off by her.

“Yes, I know.” She said hurriedly.

“Oh.” I heard him mumble under his breath.

Was there something that she perhaps did not want me to know?

“Erm… So, get change and I’ll send you back.” He said.

“I can go back on my own.” She said.

“It’s dangerous!” He exclaimed.

Dangerous? I think he is more dangerous than the surroundings. Is it even the doctor’s job to send patients home!?

“I’ll send her.” I said, standing up.

He raised his eyebrow at me.

“Do you have a car? You’re not going to make her take a cab, or even worse, a bus, aren’t you?” He asked, with a hint of mockery in his voice.

“I don’t have a car, but I can get a car driven here with just a phone call.” I said. Since he wants to be a show-off, why not?

“Guys, please.” Minji said.

“You, go back out to work.” She pointed at the doctor.

“You, go get your car driven here and head to work.” She pointed at me.

“Minji goes home on her own, and she promise she would not die on the way.” She said, getting out of bed, heading to the toilet.

The both of us look at the closed toilet door, and then at each other.

“Send her back, please? Make sure she gets home safe.” He said.

I nodded.

“Thanks.” He muttered before heading out.

***
“I can go up on my own.” She said, taking her bag from me.

We took a cab back to her place in the end because she refused to let me call my manager. In fact, she wanted to come back on her own, but I insisted, or rather, forced my way up the cab with her.

“Okay, go on up.” I said.

“Thank you. Go to work.” She said, waving at me.

“I’ll leave when you get back home.” I said.

“Please! I wouldn’t die! I’m already here! What else do you want!? Do you want to put a leash on me!?” She snapped.

I was honestly startled.

“I… I did not mean… it that way.” I mumbled.

“I’m sorry.” She apologized, looking down.

“I didn’t mean to snap. Just… Don’t worry, alright? I’m injured, yes. But I’m not crippled or anything. It’s just getting into the lift, getting out of the lift, keying in the passcode, opening the door, getting in and then closing the door. Nothing will happen. Please.” She pleaded.

“Alright, alright. But… you know..” She cut me off before I could finish.

“I’ll text you when I get up, okay? I’ll send you a photo as well. A full body shot to let you see that all my limbs are intact.” She said.

I laughed and nodded.

“Go~” She smiled.

“At least let me see you walk in.” I said.

“Aish! What could happen seriously!? Are you afraid I would run off!?” She grumbled, but headed in anyway.

After watching her head in, I got onto a cab and headed back to the company.

I’m back! I did not die! (¬、¬)’ She texted.

I laughed loudly and the cab driver looked at me.

“Sorry.” I apologized.

“It’s fine.” He smiled.

How do I know this is not your soul or a murderer texting? Where’s the full body shot?’ I replied.

‘٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶ <- This is me when I am about to murder someone(you).’ She replied.

I laughed out again. The cab driver started laughing too.

“Whoever she is, she sure brings laughter to not only you but those around you.” He said.

“Eh?” I looked at him.

He shrugged his shoulders.

“True.” I mumbled, smiling to myself.

Alright, alright. Don’t kill me (ノ#-_-)ノAnd erm… Are you free this weekend, or something?’I replied.

'Something.' She replied.

'Aish!! Are you free this Saturday!? (/゚Д゚)/' I replied.

‘HAHAHAHA! Why?’ She replied.

‘Remember I said about meeting my friends?’ I replied.

‘Oh. Okay.’ She replied.

Okay means?? Pick you up on Saturday, at 5PM? (#/。\#)I replied.

‘Just text me the venue. I can ride there.’ She replied.

RIDE!? s(・`ヘ´・;)ゞ’I replied.

‘KIDDING!!! Not like I could even if I wanted to. Alright, 5PM. See you~ o (◡‿◡✿) She replied.

***
“Hi~” She greeted me as she walked out.

She was dressed similar to usual; shorts, top and an outer wear. But she somehow looked different.

She was still limping slightly, her arm was still bandaged and the cuts on her cheeks and forehead were obvious because it was not covered anymore. I smiled at her, but could not take my eyes off her face. How much must it have hurt?

“Why? Should I have plastered those cuts with a Pororo plaster or something?” She asked.

I laughed and shook my head.

“It’s fine! Just… It hurts a lot, don’t it?” I asked.

She shrugged her shoulders.

“This one?” She asked, pointing at the black van I was leaning against.

I nodded. She looked a little scared.

“I know what you’re thinking! I’m not going to abduct you and sell you to some other country after chopping off your arms and legs!” I laughed.

“I know, I know!” She laughed.

“But, it might be a little scary when I open the door. You might hear loud screeching, and some things might pop out.” I slapped the window as I said, knowing that the boys inside had their face stuck at the window.

“Oh.” She laughed nervously.

“But don’t worry because I…” Before I could finish, the door opened.

“HELLO!!!!!!” Mir pushed me aside as he jumped out.

“OH MY WE FINALLY GET TO MEET YOU!” He yelled, grabbing her hand and shaking it vigorously.

She seemed obviously shaken up.

“LET GO! CAN’T YOU SEE THAT SHE’S HURT!?” I snapped, yanking his hand away from her.

“Oh I didn’t know. I’m so sorry.” He said apologetically.

She shook her head and offered him a smile.

“I’m Minji.” She smiled, offering him a handshake.

“Mir.” Mir said nervously as he shook her head.

“LEE JOON!!!!!” Joon shouted, popping his head out of the van, grinning at her.

She giggled and nodded politely.

“Byunghee, G.O.” G.O said coldly with his sunglasses still on, sticking his head out of the window from the front seat.

She shot me a nervous glance. Who would not freak out when someone who looks like a mafia talks in that tone?

“Cut it out.” I hissed at G.O.

“Anneyong~” He said ‘cutely’.

“Eh?” Minji looked at me.

“I was just teasing you.” He took off his sunglasses.

“Oh. Hahaha~” Minji laughed, her cheeks turning slightly red.

“Don’t look so scared! I even shaved off my moustache because I didn’t want to scare you!” He said in a whiny voice, causing us to burst into laughter.

“Park Sanghyun, Cheondung.” Cheondung said politely, appearing out of a sudden from behind, startling both Minji and myself.

“Oh, hi, hi. I’m Minji.” She bowed to him. No idea why she did that thou~

“LET’S GO IN AND TALK!” Mir yelled.

“Stop yelling.” I smacked his arm.

“Ladies first!” Lee Joon said, gesturing Minji to go into the van.

“Where… should I sit?” Minji asked me.

“Not behind, definitely. Get your butts in, three of you!” I shoved Mir, Joon and Cheondung in.

After settling them, I turned to Minji.

“Go on.” I said, holding out my hand for her to hold on since the van is a little high and her knee is injured.

“Thanks.” She smiled as she settled down.

“LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!” Mir yelled.

I shook my head, but Minji just laughed.

“Wah, we finally have a chance to meet you! So you were the one who saved hyung? Wah~~” Joon said, sticking his head in between Minji and I.

“Not so close!” I pushed him back, noticing Minji’s awkwardness.

“Why are you so quiet? You seem to have a lot to say to hyung.” Mir said with a pout.

Minji just smiled.

“Because she doesn’t like you.” I .

“WHAT!? WHY NOT!?” Mir shouted.

“No no no! It’s not it!” Minji explained hurriedly.

She shot me a glare, in which looked more cute than fierce.

Throughout the journey, the boys kept talking and asking her stuff. I knew she was awkward, but I left them to talk to her while I watch.

“Where… are we going?” She asked finally.

“I thought you would never ask.” I laughed.

“Hyung, you didn’t tell her?” Cheondung asked.

I shook my head.

“We’re going to Junhyung’s place.” G.O said, turning back.

“Jun…hyung?” Minji asked, looking at G.O, and then at me.

“It’s Junhyung. One word.” I smiled.

“Junhyung, like… Yong.. Junhyung?” She asked.

I smiled and nodded.

“Beast rapper, Yong Junhyung?” She asked again.

I nodded.

“His house?” She asked.

I nodded.

“Oh my oh my oh my god. Yong Junhyung~” She squealed.

She did not bother to hide her smile at all. Her cheeks were dark red and she kept grinning at me.

“Why are you so happy?” Mir asked, chuckling.

“I’m going to meet my idol, at his house! Why wouldn’t I be happy!?” She exclaimed.

Throughout the journey, she had been awkward. But now, she seem totally different.

“Junhyung is your idol? You like Beast?” Joon asked.

“The rest of Beast would be there too?” She asked, eyes wide.

Joon nodded. She squealed soundlessly.

“We’re here!” G.O announced.

As we were getting out of the van, we could already hear laughter from inside. Minji was tugging onto my jacket, perhaps nervous.

“You’re finally here!!” Junhyung greeted as he pushed open the gate, letting us in. The other boys ran in like kids, leaving Minji and I to stand there. I winced as I felt Minji’s nails dig into my waist.

“Hyung, where’s your friend?” Junhyung asked.

“Here.” I said, purposely moving away.

“Ahhh no~” She whined.

“Hello~ Welcome.” Junhyung smiled.

Minji looked at Junhyung. She look exactly like how a fangirl would look when she sees her idol face to face for the first time. I think, apart from Haneul, she should be second luckiest Junhyung fan alive.

Junhyung looked at me, as thou trying to ask if something was wrong.

“Star struck.” I teased.

“No no no no no~” Minji giggled, covering her face.

“What’s taking you guys so long!?” Doojoon shouted as he put his arm over Junhyung’s shoulder.

Minji looked up slightly, and then looked down again.

“Why? Am I very ugly?” Doojoon asked innocently.

“Ya.” Junhyung .

“No no!” Minji said hurriedly.

“Just...” She blushed.

“Fan. She’s a Beast fan.” I helped her reply.

“Yea.. No.. I mean.. Yea.” She grinned.

“I’m an idol too, why don’t you seem to be excited when you see me?” I mumbled.

“Aye, you’re not my idol.” She said simply.

I lost my breath. That was… painfully straightforward. I clutch onto my chest and shook my head.

“Oh my! I like you already!” Doojoon shouted as both he and Junhyung laughed loudly.

“I mean! You’re my friend! It’s different!” She explained hurriedly to me.

“Words said cannot be taken back.” I shook my head, dramatically rubbing my chest.

“Ahh hyung~” Junhyung whined, punching my shoulder lightly.

“Junroro! Loki is trying to murder…” Haneul stopped talking and stared at Minji.

“Who are you?” Haneul asked coldly.

Junhyung, Doojoon and I exchanged nervous glances as the two female stare at each other. The warm atmosphere before was now replaced by bone chilling coldness.
