Jin Young’s POV:

I thought my heart would explode in my chest when Jin Kyung started giving me love bites. Especially when she got to a weak spot that I never knew I had.

My knees wanted to buckle and render themselves useless at what she was making me feel. Breathing got hard the more pleasure that I felt, I never went this far with any of my past girlfriends before. This is a first for me as much as it is for her.

She will never know how much I wanted to reverse our positions and pin her against door, unable to move or to escape. But I knew that if she didn’t let her frustration out, it would build up in her and make her flare up at any one day, I know that she is the kind to keep it to herself and think that things are alright or that it’s fine when she’s really upset. Seeing that she already has a minor grudge, its best of her to let it out…

Also, I knew that if I did what I wanted. Jin Kyung would lose her innocence along with a number of other things…

Taking a whole lot of restraint, *just this once* I thought, doing my best to ignore the torrent of feelings that were coursing through me.

“Are you planning to eat me for dinner Jin Kyung?” I gave a breathy chuckle thinking how our roles were reversed.

Snapping out of it instantly, Jin Kyung pulled back until she hit the opposite wall. Covering her face as she slumped against it, sliding down until she was on the floor…

*Her ears are so red* I chuckled at how embarrassed she probably feels right now.

Sitting down cross legged in front of her, I bent over this way and that trying to take a peek at her face.

Having effectively curling into a ball, she gave me no way to see her cute embarrassed expression which I love so much.

“I had no idea my yeojachingu was soooo aggressive” I said jokingly as I rested my chin in my hand.

“I have no idea what came over me Jin Young” She hugged her knees tighter. “I don’t understand what’s going on anymore” she whined.

“I think you have an idea Jin Kyung. Just that you don’t want to admit it” I patted the top of her head.

“Of course I don’t want to admit it! How am I supposed to say that I– I– I…I seriously can’t say it Jin Young!” She shook her head so strongly until her hair became messy.

Gently pulling apart her arms that hugged her knees “Look at me…” I murmured, inching closer to her. “I’m not going to do anything to you. Also…I know what you can’t say very well Jin Kyung. But I promise you, I’m not going to force you into anything. I’m not going to cross that line and neither am I going to let you do that either” I switched to hold her shoulders after she calmed down.

“But still…What happened just now is really embarrassing” She looked away.

Jin Kyung’s POV

*I can’t believe what just happened! I only meant to give him a few as payback! Not turn into some seductress!!* I screamed mentally when I finally caught on to what I was doing.

*Aish! How do I always lose myself when I’m with him?!*I stared into his eyes when he asked to look at him. *I can’t even refuse his voice!* My mind panicked when I realized that I did as he said.

Holding my shoulders gently, telling me that he understood. That he wouldn’t do anything to me…I felt assured that he wouldn’t…But what if it wasn’t him but me?

Getting up to his feet, he went into the bathroom saying that he wanted to check the damage done. I couldn’t believe my ears when I heard him commenting on how some were too light and how some were too dark.

“TOO MUCH INFO!!” I yelled so that he could hear me from the bathroom. Feeling my face heat up again, I was beginning to think that I should take up an occupation as heater rather than a songwriter. Considering the ridiculous amount of times that I’ve turned red whenever I’m with Jin Young…

Walking out with his shirt buttoned “Thank you for making them discreet” He winked. “If not the guys will have a field day during our practices” Jin Young held his hand out in front of me.

Looking at him in confusion “Come on” He prodded “You’re not going to stay here on the floor all night right?”

“Ah, right dinner” I took his hand and he gently pulled me up.

Looking at him warily, he laughed under my cautious gaze.

Kissing the back of my hand like a gentleman, he led me out to the dining table. Where our Ommas cooed at the sight of us holding hands and walking down together.

Talking in their own codes and outrageously fast speed. *And I thought Ji Ho-ssi could rap fast…He should come by and visit our Omma some time. I’m sure they could learn something from each other*

“Hi is Kim So Yeong-ssi in class?” I asked the guy by the door hesitantly as I stood by the back door of the Third Year’s classroom.

The people here felt so different even though there’s only a one year difference between us, I didn’t want them to stare at me from the front door so I thought that I could avoid that by coming through the back door.

 “Ah, So Yeong? Yeah she’s in class, I’ll call her for you” He said looking in front and doing exactly what I feared.

Calling out loudly, the guy caught the entire class’s attention as he called for So Yeong-ssi.

Every head turning around to look at me, chills went down my spine at how creepy that moment was.

Murmuring start when they noticed the colour of my tie, it was the second year’s silver and blue. As opposed to their regal red and gold coloured tie.

*Am I not welcomed here?* I looked about, sure some faces were friendly but most were giving me strange stares.

“Erm, I’m here to say that say long as you’re not expecting something like ‘I remember’. I would love to work with you” I gave a timid smile. Wondering *How is she able to be so relaxed and at ease in this kind of atmosphere? It’s really stifling! To the heart and the mind…*

“Don’t worry, I’m not asking you to make another song like that” She waved her hands animatedly. “When I saw that it was you who composed the music for Jin Young-ssi song, I just thought that it’d be great to work with you.”

Releasing a sigh of relief, I gave her a big smile and fished out the sample that I have ready for her. “Here, since we are able to work together. I’m able to pass you this”

“Oh? What in it?” She kept the CD into her bag.

“It’s the minus one track” I smiled, having a lot of time to myself since Jin Young went back home after dinner. Meaning that I had the rest of the evening and night to do what I wanted to. “After looking and listening to your voice, I thought that this music might fit you well.”

Noticing the talking got louder, I looked around and some of the sunbaenims were pointing to me as they spoke.

“I’ll get working on the lyrics when I get back.” I said, shuffling between my feet as I felt like an alien in that place. “Do you want to take part in the lyrics writing?” I asked her

“It would make it easier for you to connect to the song since you were the one who wrote it” I explained.

“If you don’t mind me asking, where do you stay?” I questioned, hoping that it was nearby. It would be easier for us to practice since we didn’t need to worry about getting home too late.

Describing me where she was, I couldn’t be happier since she only lived a few streets away. “Are you free today? Would you mind coming over to my place and work on the song?”

Her eyes lighting up “Really? You’d have me over?” So Yeong looked really surprised.

Nodding, I leaned over to her and whispered “Anyplace is better than here. But my house has free food so it’s better” I joked causing her to laugh, making the surrounding people to give us weird stares.

Once we left the class and the school, it felt so liberating to be out of that class. “So Yeong sunbae, has your class always been like that?” I walked in stride with her footsteps.

“I’m not too sure…I had a friend that I always hanged out with but he graduated last year. After he left, I realised that I didn’t know anyone in my class since I always spent time with that friend. And that the girls in the class didn’t like it because they thought that I wasn’t glamorous enough for him.” She answered, giving a forced smile.

“How is he doing now? Have you kept in touch with him?” I asked, curious about this senior who had so much influence.

“He’s a trainee now, working hard and doing his best every day. He would text me at random points of the day. ‘Whenever I have free time’ was what he said” She twiddled with her hands as she spoke about him.

*He’s someone you like* I smiled at how she was. *All smiles and laughter as she reminisce about him*

*Was I like that when I thought about Jin Young?* I wondered as we walked up to the gates of my home.

“Is that you Jin Kyung?” My Omma shouted from somewhere in the house.

“Ne, it’s me” I yelled back in general, waiting for her to appear somewhere.

“Oh? Who’s this lovely girl with you?” My Omma smiled as she walked out to the top of the staircase.

“She’s Kim So Yeong, my friend whom I’m working with for the Spring showcase” I explained while taking my shoes of and slipping them into the house slippers.

 “Sing it from the top again” I said, not satisfied with what we had.

Hours and days went by as we brainstormed and wrote the lyrics for the song. Having meeting up and working on our song intensively, we grew really close to each other and I was glad to have met a nice sunbae like her.

Over this short period of time, we’ve managed to talk and find out a lot about each other in hopes of writing a relatable song for So Yeong unnie.

I’ve talked briefly about my past with Jin Young and how ‘I remember’ was us saying that we still remember each other after so long  and So Yeong’s story with her crush that had graduated from school and making it into an entertainment company as a trainee. Having met in her first year here, she had liked him since then and had been keeping it a secret.

Being our umpteenth time revising the song and the lyrics, we’ve been at it since last week and we only have until Wednesday to hand it up to the teacher and it was already Friday!!

Can someone say panic mode!

I seriously had difficulties finding what was wrong with this piece. The music was good, the voice is good…but I couldn’t help but feel that there was something lacking in the lyrics…

*Ring~Ring~Ri –*

“Hello?” So Yeong answered the phone, her expression instantly relaxes and a smile would just form very naturally on her lips. “Ne, I’m at this address. Why Oppa? Why are you asking about where I am?”

“No way!!” She suddenly yelled and ran to my window.

Staying there for barely a second, she bolted out the door and I heard her footsteps run down the stair case. Judging from her response, it must be her crush calling her.

Only that guy is able to make those responses come out of her, subtly higher pitched and acting cuter than she usually is.

 “Jin Kyung! How do you unlock the lock on your door?!” She yelled from downstairs.

“Coming” I ran down to help her, wondering what was happening to make her so rushed.

Running out the door and roughly opening the gate, I wanted to yell at her to treat it nicely but the person on the other side of the gate surprised me.

It was her crush! I’d seen him in the photos that she’d show me and he really good looking in person as he was in the photo.

“Why are you here?! How- How is it possible that you’re standing in front of me?!” So Yeong bombarded him with questions as she held his hands, making sure that this was all real.

“It’s like a dream Jang Won! I haven’t seen you for more than a year and now, you’re standing in front of me!” She said happily, her eyes glistening with happiness.

“So Yeong, do remember how I said that if I was going to debut. I’d tell you something?” Jang Won looked at her expectantly.

Nodding furiously “How could I forget?! No matter how I asked you’d never tell me”

“I’ll tell it to you today So Yeong.” He smiled as he looked into So Yeong’s eyes.

“Omo! Does that mean?!”

“Yes, I’ve been selected to debut” He held her hands in his. “But more importantly, what I’ve been working hard for, what I’ve been waiting to prove myself for…”

I couldn’t help but smile for So Yeong, she was so surprised that he was holding her hands in his. Her cheeks were flushed pink at how close he was holding her.

“I’ve liked you for a very long time, will you be my girlfriend?” I heard him say.

So Yeong immediately wrapped her arms around him. Definitely thinking that this was a dream come true or how this was like a dream to her.

*Like a dream…Ah ha!!! That’s it!!!!* A light bulb went on in my head. Running up into my room, I quickly jotted down those three words and threw all of So Yeong’s belongings into her bag.

Running down the stairs, I went up to them not caring their mood at all and chuck the bag at her. “I’ve got an idea. But I want to be alone to finish it. Go on a date, go to the Han River, watch a movie, anything. Spend time with your boyfriend and we can make it up tomorrow.” I said everything in a rush.

I think I was speaking so fast that So Yeong herself didn’t understand me but thankfully her boyfriend did since he replied back to me “Thank you, we’ll enjoy our day together” and he ushered a very stunned and dazed So Yeong away.

Walking back up to my room, I probably was being rude but! We both needed the song that was waiting to be penned down desperately. So I think I might be forgiven? I hope so, since she’s going out on a date thanks to me.

Writing on the small whiteboard that I stuck to my door, I told my Omma to just leave me a portion of dinner. Because once I start my lyrics writing process, it’d be hard for me to stop until sometime around the next day.

Saving the revised music scores with the words penned down, I looked at the time and it read 2.53am.

*Wow, it took me quite awhile to refine the song and rework the music* I thought as I went out of my bedroom.

Seeing the covered food on the table made my stomach growl as my last meal was at 1pm. *More than 12 hours ago* I thought to myself as I grabbed a pair of chopstick from the kitchen and started eating.

I couldn’t finish everything since Omma left too much; I covered the food again and went into the kitchen to wash what I used.

Unable to sleep after eating, I decided to run through the song again to see if there were anymore areas to improve on and checking again the timing of each word.

Ending up not sleeping at all, I saved the song into my personalized CD and put it into my bag.

Packing my laptop into a laptop case, I put it beside my book bag so that I would remember to bring it together to school. Time was running out and we needed to train intensively today and if possible record it in the studio.

*At least I don’t have bed hair this morning* I thought to myself as I ran my brush through my hair with ease. Applying concealer on my dark eye rings that was the only make up that I bothered to use regularly.

Once ready, I smiled when I saw Jin Young outside my house waiting for me. “Let’s go” I skipped up to him.

“You’re in a good mood” Jin Young smiled as he interlaced his fingers with mine.

My face warmed slightly but I said nothing of it, I gave it a small squeeze as I swung our hands back and forth lightly.

“What are you guys doing for the second performance?” I asked, unable to help myself from feeling curious.

“It’s a secret.” He smiled, putting a finger to his lips. “What are you doing for the second song?” He asked in return.

“Hmph, since you said yours was a secret. Mine will be one too” I huffed.

“We’ll surprise each other then” He said.

“What makes you so sure that you’ll be chosen?” I asked, amazed at his confidence.

“By doing everything that we can and giving our best” He answered.

”And by believing in yourself” He gave my hand a gentle squeeze in return.

And I thought my Chapter 026 of The endless war was long...well, I've just topped the cake >.< this is a whopping 3,017 word long chapter and 7pages on my word doc!

This is a first for me~

I hoped you weren't confused by the title. They were the highlights of the respective parts of the chapter. I really tried squeezing a lot to get the story moving where it's supposed to XD I've stayed tooo long in their honeymoon period.

It's time for hardships to come by and make their relationship make or break XD hee hee~

Went out with my family and played kinet's Dance Central 2 today!! :D Even though I'm fat, I owned my family! :D Muahaha~ Seriously, I'm serverly overweight and I only lost once during the hour that I played with my family :D I love these kinds of music related games :P So much fun~

I'll be out of the country over the weekends so I might or might not be updating over the weekends :) I'll do my best to post something during the weekdays, most likely on thursday since I have church stuff on mon-wed night :)
