Victoria wakes up at the sound of the baby, she remembers that Nicholas was still in discomfort, it was still dark out, and her bedside clock reads five-thirty, an hour before the usual time she wakes up. She tried to stretch but her whole body was immobilized at the moment, she smiles as she looks at the man beside her. Nichkhun has his arms securely wrapped around her, she was pillowing his arm and the other one was around her waist, he was pressed closely to her. He moves in his sleep, Victoria thought that he was finally going to turn around and she will get some space, she waited and he did move to lie on his back.

She slowly moves to stand up from the bed and shrugs into her robe, she tiptoes to the crib and checks on the baby, he was getting restless in his sleep. She felt his skin and was relieved when his temperature felt normal, but just to make sure, she picks him up still wrapped in his blanket and brings him with her as she sat on the chair next to the crib. Nicholas snuggles closer to her in his sleep, he was suddenly calm. She slowly trained the thermometer to his ear and waited for the result, when the gadget confirmed that the baby doesn’t have a fever she finally relaxed.
