Jieun went home first since Baekhyun had to send Sunhee back home, Luhan walked over to Jieun and suggested, “I’ll send you home, it’s hard to get a taxi at this hour.”

Jieun looked at him and then at the rest of the boys, “What about them?” She asked pointing to the rest of them who pretended to look elsewhere.

“We are fine, just let Luhan-hyung send you home,” Chanyeol answered with a smile giving Luhan an ‘ok’ signal.

Baekhyun came out a while later, he was about to walk to Jieun when Sunhee clings onto his arms, “Where are we going now?” She asked with her sweet voice.

Baekhyun looked at Jieun getting into Luhan’s car and then at Sunhee, “Home, I’ll send you home.” He then removes Sunhee’s hands that are clung around his arms, “The car is over there, I’ll talk to my friends first.” He said pointing his car to her.

“Luhan-hyung will send Jieun home; don’t worry,” Sehun assured Baekhyun who just nodded his head, “Why…” Baekhyun muttered as Suho patted his shoulder to comfort him.

“Don’t like her wait for a long time since she’s pregnant now,” Suho reminded Baekhyun who smiled and bid them goodbye before walking to his car.

The ride home was exceptionally quiet, “Since you are here today, who is taking care of Yoogeun?” Luhan asked trying to break the silence.

“My mom is looking after him the whole week,” Jieun answered with a smile as she just stares blankly outside.

Luhan widened his eyes upon hearing it, “You are back on talking terms with your mother?” he asked attempting to continue the conversation.

Jieun looked at him, smiled and nodded her head, “They have accepted it and yes, we are back on talking terms.”

Not long after, they reached her house and Luhan had always wanted to know the reason why Jieun accepted Sunhee’s request but he doesn’t want to ask unless Jieun tells him willingly.

“Thank you for sending me home,” Jieun said politely as she undid her seatbelt ready to get off until Luhan held her wrist making Jieun looked at him. She blinked her eyes twice, “Nevermind, take care,” Luhan said letting go of her wrist.

Baekhyun rushed back home immediately after sending Sunhee home. He wants to know the reason, he wants to know why. He opened the door and shouted, “Jieun-ah.”

Jieun came out from the kitchen and saw Baekhyun who was looking for her urgently; she tilted her head knowing that he’s angry right now, “What do you want to know?” She asked prepared to give her explanation for all the questions that he will be asking.

“Why didn’t you tell me that you are Sunhee’s bridesmaid? Why are you doing it when you are not close with her? Did she force you? Why-,” Baekhyun bombarded Jieun with all the questions until Jieun interrupted, “Wait, one by one.”

“I was hesitating to tell you yesterday but when I decided to, you say that to talk about it today, remember?” Jieun answered.

Flashback

“Wait, Baekhyun,” Jieun said as Baekhyun was too busy eating her up, he stopped and looked at her, “We can talk tomorrow, tonight I just want to hear my name and nothing else,” Baekhyun said before resuming what he was doing.

End of Flashback

Baekhyun blushed a little and answered, “Ye- yes… Why are you doing it when you are not close with her?”

Jieun sighed and explained, “She’s pregnant with your child and I don’t want to agitate her, it’s bad for the baby, you know that right?”

Baekhyun bit his lips and continued, “Fine, did she force you?”

Jieun shook her head, “I did it willingly, I did it for you, for your baby, she didn’t force me at all.”

“How are you feeling now, having to witness me getting married with her, are you hurting?” Baekhyun asked as he walked towards Jieun and hugged her tightly.

“Of course it hurts to see your loved ones getting married to someone other than yourself, but as long as I’m able to see you everyday, I’m contented,” Jieun answered with a smile.

‘This is why I love you, you are always thinking about others first before yourself…’

It is one more day before Baekhyun will officially married Sunhee, both Baekhyun and Jieun were busy with the wedding preparation and Jieun have to make sure that her wedding dress size is alright and they had to rehearse a few times before the actual day.

“Can I make a little request?” Sunhee asked Jieun when the both of them are in the room at the chapel alone.

Jieun smiled and nodded her head, “What is it?”

Sunhee bit her lips and looked away, “Can you be the one who deliver the rings to us when the priest said that Baekhyun and I can exchanged the rings?”

Jieun was dumbfounded by the request but still maintained her smile, “Sure, don’t worry.”

Sunhee stood up and hugged Jieun, “Thank you,” she whispered while Jieun just kept on smiling. She can’t do anything else other than smiling right? Jieun can’t cry or get angry since Sunhee is pregnant now.

Instead of spending his last bachelor night with his friends, he decided to spend it with Jieun. After tomorrow, he can’t be a couple with Jieun in front of many people except towards his friends and her friends.

Jieun and Baekhyun cuddle with each other on the bed as he played with her fingers, “Did she do anything funny to you today?”

“She asked me to be the one to deliver the rings to you guys tomorrow and I accepted,” Jieun replied and Baekhyun immediately sat up straight and looked at her who was just looking at the bed.

“I’m sorry,” Baekhyun apologized all of a sudden as Jieun looked at him and caressed his face, “For?”

“All of the unreasonable requests by her,” Baekhyun answered as Jieun chuckle, “Silly boy.”

 Baekhyun pulled her closer to him and kissed the top of her head, “You will wait for me right?” he asked seriously.

“Yes,” Jieun answered picking up his hands that is resting on his stomach and kissed his fingers.

She looked up and repeated, “Yes, I’ll wait for you.”

Baekhyun leaned in and kiss her lips until he felt something salty on his lips; he opened his eyes and saw Jieun crying. He stopped immediately as she opened her eyes, “I just can’t bear to see you suffer…” she mumbled as Baekhyun kissed her again attempting to hush her. But as they were kissing, the both of them are crying. They broke the kiss and rested their forehead against each other.

Jieun was sleeping when Baekhyun woke up; he walked to the baby room and looked around the room. “I’m sorry…” he muttered. He then looked around the house and walked around the house before going back to the room.

He walked over to Jieun who was sleeping, “I really love you, I really do…” he cried beside her bed waking her up.

Jieun sat up and noticed two cups of water beside her, “What are you doing?” She asked cupping Baekhyun’s face.

“Rather than having to suffer together, why don’t we end everything together?” Baekhyun said passing her the cup of water that is laced with detergent.

Jieun looked at him and asked, “Are you serious in doing it? What about our son? He will be alone…”

Baekhyun didn’t answer but to gulp down the cup of water before Jieun could slap away the cup, “Baekhyun!” She cried out as she called for the ambulance frantically.

“I’m sorry…” Baekhyun apologized repeatly as Jieun tried to get the water out of his body.

“Why are you so silly? I said that I’ll wait for you and now you are abandoning me and our son alone again!” Jieun cried and shouted.
