“Jenny ah, don’t worry about it. The online searches show that you are the good person in this. Trust me; you are the good guy – I mean, girl,” Kwangsoo rubbed my back.

It just made me so angry. How dare Fiona’s fan hurt my fan?

They might be called BETA but they deserve ALPHA quality. I couldn’t care less about the scratches on my arm right now. I just want to know if that fan is okay…

“Oppa… is that fan okay?”

Kwangsoo nodded his head, “Yes. I made a personal call to the airport and they assure us that the fan is okay and that they have apologised to her family.”

I frowned.

As if words were enough. We can barely believe actions, how are we meant to believe words?

“Jenny ah, calm down. People can hear your breathing all the way from outside,” Kwangsoo exaggerated.

“Oppa, that wasn’t fair for our fan. How can I be sure that she’s okay? I haven’t seen any fan accounts, no nothing. They probably told her to keep quiet.”

Kwangsoo put his hands on his hips, “You know what I found strange? Despite the history between you and Fiona, she just laughed when she saw her fan scratch you. Isn’t that strange?”

“It’s stranger that she doesn’t even act like you two are friends. It’s the occasional hugs and the smile during variety shows but that’s it. 99% of people don’t even know you two are friends,” Sammy said to me in English.

“Yeah, but isn’t it better that way? Then I don’t have to deal with the media asking about our friendship?”

“She isn’t a friend,” Sammy grabbed my hand.

“I know”, I gave Sammy a reassuring look, “That’s been established ever since I came back to Korea.”

“Then what the hell are you doing still being civil to her? If I were you, I would have shredded her to pieces.”

“If we weren’t idols that is… we have images to maintain. Anyways, a very wise man once told me ‘an old friend with no present is worse than a new friend with no history’.”

Sammy smiled, “That man is very wise indeed.”

Of course he is. He’s the almighty Mr Hellius.

“Ah, so there’s the smile that we’ve been waiting for ever since we reached the hotel!” Sammy nudged me.

“Of course! Nothing keeps Jenny sad for that long.”

Sammy sat back and stretched her arms upwards, “You’re right.”

Nothing is keeping me sad for long because I am going to take matters into my own hands now. Fiona, you just wait until I get back to Korea.

~~~~~Kris’ POV~~~~~

I shut my eyes tightly together.

“Please come back…”

Darn it…

Why can’t I fall asleep? It’s been ages since I’ve had those weird flashbacks of Jenny… They were really interesting…

I groaned as I struggled to sit up on my bed. Every time I try to think about Jenny, Fiona comes up and even though Fiona is my girlfriend… aww man, this is so wrong.

I closed my eyes and rubbed my temples.

--------------Four hours earlier--------------

I cleared my throat and nervously looked into the webcam.

“Fiona, did you really smile when your fan hurt Jenny?”

“Oppa, I didn’t do it on purpose, it just came out. I can’t control my feelings.”

Can’t control her feelings? What does that mean? She wanted to laugh but she couldn’t hide it? Fiona… you really would do that…

“Oppa, oppa! Are you okay? Oppa!”

“Oh, what? Sorry, zoned out.”

“I was saying, you shouldn’t be concerned about Jenny anyways. Have you seen those comments about me? Everyone hates me!”

Well, you did act like that…

“Oppa, did you get those pair of shoes I told you to get?”

“Um… yeah.”

“Good, for some reason, YG doesn’t approve me keeping those Jeremy Scott shoes…” Fiona pouted as she looked down at her nails.

I can’t believe I’ve been thinking she’s been a good person all this time… She’s probably thinking that since we’re dating, she can show her real self expecting me to accept it… I didn’t fall for her real self… I didn’t fall for her.

“Oppa, how about we go out shopping when I come back to Korea.”

“Um…”

Fiona took out her necklace from underneath her shirt and held it in her hand.

“Umm… yes.”

What?

Fiona let go of her necklace and it revealed the red stone that I saw in that book she lent me. The exact one.

“Great! I’ll chat to you later. Bye!”

What does that mean though? She has the same stone/gem thing from the book. So… is magic real or something or did Fiona just buy one because it looked like that?

“No, as in… real magic? Like psychics and witches and wizards?”

Was Jenny hinting something at me on the day that Shin Ah was kidnapped? Was she getting me to figure it out on my own?

I ran my fingers through my hair.

I can’t believe that I’ve been fooled by Fiona so many times… gosh, I feel like an idiot! Why did I listen to her?

I can’t stay with Fiona anymore. I have to break it off… since I can’t do it now; I’ll just have to avoid her as long as possible.  As long as possible… As for Jenny, I have to tell her about this. If she hinted it at me, she’s bound to know something.

I should check when Jenny gets back to Korea. I pulled my phone out from under my pillow and went on the internet.

On their Vietnam stop for their fan inauguration, ALPHA revealed to fans who their ideal types were. The other members reconfirmed their ideal types and Jenny finally revealed her ideal type.

“Like in a previous interview, I answered that I like good guys who has a good sense of humour but nowadays I have been thinking about physical features. I’ve been more interested in tall guys who look good in suits and manly features.”

Jenny later explained the reason for her “broad” shoulders (which we believe isn’t that bad) due to her years of swimming and suggested that “Men with broad shoulders would be nice because then [hers] won’t look that broad.”

At the concert, Jenny was also surprised with a visit by her family who flew in from Australia as well as relatives from Vietnam. Read about it HERE.

ALPHA will be spending a few extra days in Vietnam, filming commercials and doing photo-shoots so their return to Korea will be delayed by three days, making their return date the 25th of March.
