I tapped my fingers on the book that Kris gave me.

Magic Beyond the Illusions… what is that supposed to mean? Fiona picked it to throw Kris off the whole idea that magic is real and make me look like an idiot.

I ran my index finger down the spine, following a big crease down it. The edges of the book were worn away and some of the pages had been doggy-eared. The pages of the book were yellow and gave off that smell that brought back a lot of memories. 

Right about now, I don’t know what annoys me more, the fact that Fiona and Kris are dating or that Fiona and Kris degraded the condition of the book.

“Are you going to read that?” So Yeon asked.

“What?”

“I just asked if you are going to read that. You’ve been staring at it for the whole plane ride?”

I let the book open up to a random page and looked down.

“I’m reading it…”

So Yeon patted my head, “You do that then.”

Might as well read it…

Witches are not born with their powers but rather learn them, while many turn to black magic as their sources of power, not all go down that path opt for while magic.

White magic? That’s something new…

However, both kinds of magic will require the use of a pendant.

Pendant?! Pendant?!

“Jenny-ah, are you okay?”

“Uh… unni… I’m just going to go to the bathroom for a second…”

I threw my bag off my lap and got off onto the aisle.

“Yah, are you taking the book with you?”

I smiled nervously and held up the book, “Private reading?”

So Yeon raised her eyebrows and shook her head as I power-walked to the toilets.

I bowed and smiled at the flight attendants before locking myself in the toilet.

I kicked down the lid of the toilet and let the book open up by itself.

My heart was beating so quickly, as I began reading.

 However, both kinds of magic will require the use of a pendant. The pigeon-blood coloured pendent has the ability to concentrate powers and give those beginning to practise magic better accuracy.

Daebak… So that pendant does have a use after all. Maybe I can get my Liar’s Charm back. Maybe there is a way after all.

But what’s the point? What am I going to if I do use the pendant? Say that all of this happened and zap back to next year? Before I made all the lies? Say good bye to ALPHA? Say good bye to Kwangsoo? Say good bye to BETA? Say good bye to all the friends that I have made on the way and to those that I have strengthened?

It was selfish of me but I couldn’t give it up. I couldn’t give them up. All the memories that I physically made myself with them… I couldn’t give it up…

It would mean that Mr Hellius would come back but I don’t think he would be too thrilled about taken out of heaven and put back on Earth…

I can’t say that Fiona never existed because that would mess a lot of things up and she was okay before the whole lie thing came up. I wouldn’t mind her ramble on about her love life. It was better when she wasn’t dating.

I rubbed the temples on my forehead and closed the book. I have a tool but I don’t know how to use it. Great…

I stood up and washed my face before walking out of the toilet. I looked down the aisle and saw Fiona sitting in my seat, taking pictures with So Yeon.

I gritted my teeth.

What the hell is she doing here?

Title: Fans worried about Jenny’s expression at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

On the 14^th of March, ALPHA landed on Vietnamese soil. At the same time, rookie artist, Fiona was also exiting the airport. With such a great number of fans from both ALPHA and Fiona, over 5000 fans in total, their departure was delayed by almost two hours. While everyone was happily receiving fan gifts and waiting around for their vans to come, Jenny’s different from usual, sombre expression did not go unnoticed. Her sad expression while waiting for the van left many worried while a few criticised her lack of professionalism saying, “If she was tired, she should have at least just faked a smile”, “If you wanted to be an idol, you should know that lack of sleep comes with it” and “Going to her home country and she gives us that face…”

B2utyfyme: Maybe she’s sad that FANS ARE BLOCKING THE WAY. I mean, she kind of has schedules to go to. They’re not the only BETAs in Vietnam. Telling her off because she’s upset is so stupid. Haters be gone!

What the heck is going on? Why is Jenny upset? It wasn’t because of the book I gave her was it? No way… Nah… I can’t be.

I guess I should watch this fancam and see what it’s all about… I should probably turn the volume down…

The scream of fans filled the airport as everyone tried to catch a glimpse of ALPHA and Fiona. The screen faded to black with the words, “Did you see that?”

It shows the footage again but in slow motion and concentrated on these two fans. Seemingly a BETA and a BLOOM (Fiona’s fanclub name) and the BLOOM was pushing the BETA in order to get to the front. The BETA does not budge and continue to call out for ALPHA.

The BLOOM raises her hand and was about to elbow the BETA when Jenny breaks away from the security guards and grabs the BLOOM’s hand, stopping her from elbowing the BETA.

In the very brief confusion, the BLOOM manages to pinch and scratch Jenny and one security guard takes the BETA out of the airport.

The screen faded to black again with the words, “But did you also see this?”

The footage replayed and this time concentrated on Fiona. As the BLOOM was scratching you, Fiona laughed and covered her face, completely disregarding what just happened.

“I don’t want to become an anti but…” appeared on the screen before the video stopped.

What? No. That can’t be. Fiona wouldn’t just laugh like that if she saw Jenny get scratched by her fan. No way… Fiona wouldn’t do that…

I closed the laptop and rubbed my neck.

There is no way Fiona would do that. Fiona is nice. She wouldn’t do that. Or would she?
