“Oppa, you can’t do this to me,” I begged from the back seat of the car.

“Come on, hand it over Jenny. Alpha’s showcase is today, I can’t let you get distracted. I’m paid to keep you on track.”

I pouted, as I reached into my back pocket and took out my phone.

“I still need to check my messages. I have three voicemails to listen to…”

Kwangsoo grabbed my phone and observed it as if it was an ancient artefact.

I stared out the window and noticed a place that had motorcycles for hire. Wouldn’t that be so cool to ride a motorcycle? I guess I won’t have a chance to go on a motorcycle… not exactly idol-like behaviour...

“Yah, Jenny ah, why are you using the Nokia N97? It’s more than two years old… and you are living in Korea. Your only option is Samsung.”

I furrowed my eyebrows, “If it can still make phone calls, it’s still my phone. I don’t have the heart to throw it out.”

“It’s true oppa, Jenny still has her battery dead iPod Nano,” said Sammy.

“It was my first music player. Like love, you cannot forget your first music player.”

“Ehhh…” The girls scrunched up their faces.

“I have been watching too many dramas with Kwangsoo oppa. Just last week, we finished watching ‘Stairway to Heaven’ in less than a day. Oppa cried the whole time we were watching it.”

“And because you said that, I am going to keep it an extra week.”

The members laughed.

The car suddenly stopped and So Yeon let out a high pitched yelp.

“What happened?” Shin Ah asked.

“Kwangsoo, let’s go check it out,” said Sammy’s manager.

“Neh hyung.”

Kwangsoo and Sammy’s manager stepped out of the van and went to look around.

Min Jung pointed to the front window of the car, “Something is wrong with the engine.”

Everyone turned around to see the view of the streets and shops covered with clouds of smoke.

“We might not be able to make it to our showcase!” So Yeon panicked.

“Unni, it’s okay, our managers will think of something.”

“Sorry girls, we might get there a little bit late.”

“Late? We can’t be late to our own debut showcase!” Ji Hae pouted.

“Oh!” I shouted out, “All our managers have their licenses right?”

The girls looked at each other and then looked at me and nodded.

“Why?” Shin Ah asked me.

 “There’s a place that has motorcycles for hire,” I smiled cheerily, “Can you see where I am going with this?”

“Jenny ah, I don’t know if this is a good idea…”

“Oppa, you can do this. It’s just a scooter.”

“What if it falls over?”

“It’s a scooter…” I whined, “Look at the other managers… those oppas look so cool. Just like the main character in a drama… They have the handsomeness of So Ji Sub in the drama Ghost.”

I know, I’m pushing Kwangsoo’s buttons but I have actual fans that are actually waiting for me. I can’t let them down.

Kwangsoo took in a deep breath, “Yeah, I can do this. I’m cool.”

“So cool.”

“I am handsome.”

I hesitated, “Yeah… you’re… hand…some…”

“I am going to do this!”

“Then can you be cool and handsome and drive a motorcycle at the same time?”

Kwangsoo nodded his head confidently, “Yes!”

We reached the venue for our showcase and it was jam-packed fans. All my nervousness from being late just completely disappeared. The showcase doesn’t actually start until an hour later but all the fans are standing out here in the heat… They haven’t even heard us perform live yet and they are still willing to stand out in the heat for us. So this is what idols mean when they love their fans. We jumped off the motorcycles and I heard screaming and shouting. It must be EXO-M arriving… I turned around to see that EXO-M was not here and that the fans were really screaming and shouting at Shin Ah, So Yeon and Min Jung as they removed their helmets.

Ji Hae, Sammy and I looked at each other and we nodded our heads. We turned towards the fans and we were about to remove our helmets but we pulled our hands away and teased the fans.

“Awww…” the fans moaned.

I smiled to myself as I gave into the fans and took off my helmet and bowed to the fans.

“Come on, enough fan service, let’s go.”

We walked into the building and our co-ordinators were running towards us, followed by people holding mics and earpieces. Next thing I know, I was half-dressed into my stage outfit and the make-up artist caking on excessive make-up.

“Alpha and EXO-M on stage in five! We need Alpha and EXO-M on the stage in five!”

My eyes shifted around to find my pants but my head did not move as the make-up artist was still putting on my make-up. I grabbed the pants and stealthily put them on. Oh gosh, this is so awkward… SO AWKWARD… my extremely pale legs… thank God the company lets me wear pants.

“Okay, you’re done!” the make-up artist nudged me out of the change rooms.

Hey guys, lets play a game xD *SAW reference*. Anyways, on chapter 19 was a description of the members right? On Chapter 8 was a description of the girls' dorm.
