Last and First Days.

I Lied That!

~~~~~Your POV~~~~~
“No, no, no. It’s like this…”
I carefully watched Zelo and Ken do some popping, the thing is, I’m not really confused about ‘popping’, I just wanted to distract everyone from the fact that it’s the last day of filming and maybe it’s because I’m the only girl in our group but it’s really depressing. We just finished filming our last scene for the drama and I always told myself that it’s nothing and that we could always meet on music shows but it’s still a sad thought because I’m going to miss my onscreen father and ajhusshi. When Ken and Zelo finished, I smiled and gave another attempt at pretending not to know how to pop.
“You’re almost getting there…” Ken smiled as he clapped his hands.
“Yeah! Yeah! You got the basics!” Zelo cheered.
“Why are two acting so surprised for?” I pouted.
Ken shook his head in an innocent manner, “No we’re not. You’re a really fast learner.”
“You’re surprised that I learn quickly!” I laughed as I lightly pushed Ken.
Suddenly the song on Ken’s phone changed to Girls Generation’s Gee and we froze and waited for the chorus.
“Neomu banjjak banjjak nuni bushyeo NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!” we shouted out as we danced along to it.
I looked over at the boys and I this sadness just hit me again. I tried to forget it and continued dancing to Gee until the song ended and Ken pouted.
“I can’t believe this is the last day we’ll spend together on set…”
“Aye… oppa, don’t be like that.” I scrunched up my face, “There will always be those press conferences and interviews.”
“Speaking of which, I think that we have to do an interview now…” Zelo pointed to the camera crew.
After getting our make-up retouched, we all sat down with the interviewer and did our little introduction and explanation of the show before getting into the real interview.
“So Jenny-sshi, you are the first Vietnamese actress to get a major role in a drama just upon her Korean debut. How does that feel?”
“It feels strange… hearing Vietnamese, major role and Korean debut in the one sentence still sounds so weird to me,” I let out a nervous laugh as I turned to Ken to say something.
“It’s really is strange because when I first met Jenny, I kept trying to figure out her nationality,” Ken added.
Chyeah… I’m mysterious… I nodded my head and smiled.
“So Ken-sshi and Zelo-sshi as well, how does it feel to work with Jenny?”
The two boys looked at me and looked back at the interviewer with a blank face. These two! Making fun of me again… aish…
The two laughed, “Nah, Jenny has been really a great addition to the Korean Entertainment Industry. Her acting is really amazing. Jenny had this one crying scene and everyone that was on set that day was feeling the sadness from that scene an hour after it was done.”
Oh my gosh… that scene was so depressing, I remembered when I read the script for that…  I secretly bawled my eyes out in bathroom. They killed off my dad in the drama and imagining losing anyone I love plus the situation that it was placed in was so sad. It was so sad that I didn’t even tell Kwangsoo just in case he went all drama crazy on me.
I tuned back into the interview and heard Zelo talking about my habits.
“Her antics are a bit different… Ken hyung and Jenny are always making funny faces at each other and then there would be times when she would say things in Vietnamese and it’s gone to the point where we sometimes pick up on it.”
“Really? So what words have you picked up?”
“Troi oi.”
I laughed at Zelo’s attempt at saying ‘Oh my gosh’ in Vietnamese. I don’t say it that much…
“Troi oi,” I said as I face palmed myself which caused the interviewer to laugh.
“It’s so great to see that you three have such great chemistry, does it show when you’re on set and filming?”
I nodded my head, “We’re pretty good on set.”
“Any love lines we should know of? Any love triangles?”
Ken shook his head, “Jenny’s character only falls in love with just one person.”
I nodded my head, “It’s because the drama concentrates more on crime solving and humour so the love lines aren’t that complicated.”
“Ah… I see… Zelo-sshi, we all know that you’re a rapper.”
“Neh.”
“What made you give a go at acting?”
“I read the script and I knew that it was a very unique role so the chances of me coming across a role like this would be very rare.”
“Any acting projects in the future for Ken sshi or Zelo sshi?”
“Possibly, if we’re not promoting songs or working on our next album, so when I get the opportunity again,” answered Ken.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

After the interview, we got back to the other cast members who were taking photos, the atmosphere definitely had a bittersweet feel to it.

“Kids, come over here!” Choi Min Soo ajhusshi called us over.

“Neh appa!” I replied as I ran over to Choi Min Soo.

“Aigoo, this will be the last time I’ll hear that on set….”

“Min Soo ajhusshi, we shall meet again in another project,” I reassured Min Soo.

It was really strange seeing him like this, especially after watching the Running Man episodes… Grasshopper hunting was quite a… scary episode.

“Alright, everyone gather around!” Kwangsoo shouted out as he and the other managers had their cameras out.

I felt someone’s hand hovering over my shoulder and turned around to see Ken who had a very awkward smile plastered on his face. I looked over at Zelo who is smiling like an idiot.

“Psych, fighting! Hana, deul…set!”

“Psych, fighting!” we all shouted out in unison.

Everyone clapped and there were hugs left, right and centre. Oh gosh, why is everyone hugging? I’m so awkward with hugs…

“Let’s go out for dinner!”

I pouted as I looked at everyone and bowed, “I’m really sorry, I have to go.”

“Me too… I have film for a music program,” Zelo added.

“That’s such a shame… Don’t worry I’ll shout you two dinner next time.”

Ken made a funny face at me and I gave one back before cracking up.

“Bye…” Ken waved to me.

I waved back with two hands as I walked away.

“Come back with a more girly image!”

“What?”

“You wore pants for the whole drama; you’re almost considered as one of the guys, go get more girly roles.”

Pants… there’s a reason why I wear pants is because my legs are extremely pale. Like… more pale than Zelo pale… it would be nice if my arms were like that but it’s not so that’s why it looks weird. I was a tomboy so I was always wearing pants and my sports were indoors, it’s not like you can get a tan from swimming. So in conclusion my arms are tanned and my legs are pale, it just doesn’t mix…

I made another derp face at Ken, “Is that a challenge?”

That was the last thing I said to Ken, I didn’t want to say anything else because the thought of saying bye is choking me up. I’m not good with goodbyes, but then again, who is? I have been on set with these boys for two months, that’s 60 days on set with these boys.

Zelo and I walked together to our vans, just before I got into my van, I reached up and poked Zelo’s forehead, “See ya later kid.”

I quickly jumped into the van where I was greeted by Kwangsoo.

“Last day of filming, how was it?”

“Can you stop mentioning it?” Tears welled up in my eyes.

Next thing I know, I was crying and ranting about how the drama should be extended so we could continue filming.

~~~~~Kris’ POV~~~~~
--------A few weeks before music video filming--------
Jenny, Sammy, Tao and I were sitting together in the training room talking about random things when the topic of relationships came up.
“Shin Ah unni and Lu Han oppa are so cute together,” Sammy smiled.
“Aye… It can’t be, Lu Han isn’t even Shin Ah unni’s type,” Jenny shook her head.
Tao smiled excitedly, “Do any of you have an ideal type?”
“No. I’m 14. The only things I want ideal are my grades and training,” you answered.
“I like a guy who can play a guitar very well,” Sammy grinned.
You tilted your head to the side, “I like guys with short hair.”
“Kris is officially off the list!”
“He was never on it, there’s like a six year difference between us.”
“Technically, there’s only five years,” Tao pointed out.
“What is that supposed to mean?!” Sammy smirked.
-------------------------------------------------
“Kris-sshi, do you mind if we cut your hair for the debut?”
I pursed my lips together as I stared into the mirror, imagining myself with shorter hair.
I nodded my head half-heartedly, “No, I don’t mind. Let’s try something new.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I sat up from my bed and rubbed my eyes, damn that dream was real. I frowned as I tried to remember the dream… That is really strange because that dream was real except for the fact that Jenny was in it. I’m pretty sure that Jenny wasn’t in it but then I saw the dream, it seems more like a reality, why the heck do I feel so confused about this?

It’s just a dream, no need to think more of it.
