TODAY IS BLOCK B'S COMEBACK!!!! WOOT!!!! WHO HERE IS EXCITED? I AM!! GOSH, I LOVE "11:30". I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY FILMED THE MV IN VIETNAM!!! JENNY'S HOMELAND!!! (besides Australia). In celebration, here's a long chapter! =)

I smiled mischievously as I plugged the computer back in. Sammy is filming for this American-KPOP TV show and everyone is at home so this is probably the only time that I can get a good look at that photo. I the scanner and waited for everything to set up. I took out my phone and placed it onto the table. I know phone privileges have been taken away but this is my back up phone. I use this phone to keep in touch with Shin Ah mainly because she went home but she’s coming back tonight so this phone will be of no use.

It’s 10:00pm right now and my eyelids felt like they were going to droop over my eyes any second now.

I shook my head and turned my attention back to the computer. I swung my chair around to get the photo I took from the grandson and placed it into the scanner. I impatiently waited for the picture to load onto the computer.

“Come on, come on...”

I know I’ve seen the basic things but I have to get a closer look. I put the photo into a photo enhancement program and played with the resolution and colour of the photo.

Oh… my… gosh… My heart was beating really quickly. Anger and shock filled my veins as I stared at the computer screen. How? What? No way… I zoomed into the photo and everything just clicked. It all clicked. Oh my gosh…

I leaned back in my chair and I was just so dumbfounded by what I just found that the anger and shock has intertwined itself with about a million other emotions.

*She’s ma babe, sae ha yan geu son kkeut-e*

Ahh… it must be Shin Ah telling me she’s almost here.

----------Phone call------------

Me: Yeobseyo?
Shin Ah: Help me!
Me: Where are you?

Crap, something happened to her. I jumped out of the seat and unplugged the computer and scanner straight from the power point. I ran towards the door and flung on my jacket and beanie on the way.

Shin Ah: I don’t know... I’m scared.
Me: Unni, you’ve been kidnapped?
Shin Ah: Yeah. Help me! *cries*

This has confirmed my worst fear. This creep has crossed the line. I plugged in my earphone so that I could use my phone to track down Shin Ah. I can hear a humming sound in the background. It’s like she’s about to take off on a plane or something, like there’s some turbulence because I hear bumping.

Me:  Unni, listen to me.
Shin Ah: Uh-huh.
Me: Slide your phone somewhere that is not near you. I just need to keep you online long enough so I can track you.
Shin Ah: Oh, okay.

God dammit! That son of a – I quickly slipped on my sneakers and ran outside the dorm and went straight for the emergency stairs. By now, I was jumping down the steps and nervously tapping the screen of my phone.

“Come on baby, don’t fail on me now.”

Fudge, I forgot to tell Kwangsoo where I was going. Damn it. Oh well, lets hope that I will be done before tomorrow afternoon. We got rehearsals for the charity concert.

I reached the final floor and zoomed right out of the building and onto the footpath outside. I looked down at my phone and there was red blinking light on the map. Awesome. I analysed the map but as I closer to the red dot, the streets became narrower and it was impossible for me to get to the exact location on the phone.

“God dammit!” I shouted out in frustration.

I guess I’m just going to have to leg it as far as I can. I took a right turn as I reached the end of the streets. Far out… it is so hard to run in snow. Come on Jenny, a life is at rish, a life that you are slightly responsible for.

I was running down the road when I noticed a car slowing down and driving behind. It honked at me and I instinctively put my head down. It must be a fan or reporter. I can’t let them see me.

“Jenny! Get in the car!”

I stopped and tried to get a look at the driver, “Kris?”

“GET IN! IT’S AN EMERGENCY!”

Shin Ah called Kris as well?

I jumped into the car and slammed the door behind me.

“You run pretty quickly.”

“What? You… didn’t… see me… at the idol… sport championship?” I said in between breaths.

My thought sprung back to Shin Ah.

“We have to save Shin Ah.”

“I know. I saw her get kidnapped near one of the recording studios I was at. I lost the kidnapper’s truck at the traffic lights.”

I looked down at my phone and the red dot has changed its position.

“Turn right at the next traffic lights and keep going forward.”

“What?”

“Just do it. I’m using her phone as a tracker.”

“You can do that?”

“Have you called the police?”

“Yeah, they said that they are on it but I had to go after that truck. The kidnapper knocked out Shin Ah’s manager and dragged her into the truck.”

The creep is still on the road, I need to stop him at every traffic light so we can catch up to him.

“You wouldn’t happen to have a laptop would you?”

“Surprisingly, yes. It’s in the back seat.”

I reached backwards and stretched for the laptop. The car stopped and I jerked forward. I turned my head and Kris’ face was very close to mine and I leaned back to let Kris get the laptop.

“I also have the internet on it.”

Kris dropped the laptop onto my lap.

Good, this is good. First of all, lets change the IP address so that Kris doesn’t get into any trouble. Time to reroute the IP address back to the any computer that is trying to track it… Now finally to hack into the traffic light program, nothing I haven’t done before, it comes in handy when you’re late to school.

I noticed Kris glancing over at the screen.

“Please make sure you are keeping your eyes on the road. We don’t need to be breaking anymore laws than we already are.”

“Than we already are?”

“Well big foot, who do you think is making all the lights green right now? Lady Luck?”

“You got into the government programs?!”

“Don’t’ act like you are so surprised. You were trying to bust me for making viruses. How is that going by the way?” I asked in an amused tone.

I quickly typed away and changed all our lights green and the kidnapper’s red. That should stall us enough time to catch up.

“Turn left and go past two streets on your right before turning right.”

Kris nodded his head. It was strange that he wasn’t asking any questions…

The red dot on the map hasn’t been moving for the past ten minutes so my best bet is that he has reached his destination. Gangnam-do Apgujeong-gong… Damn, this guy is rich. Creepy and rich… this is not good. But creepy rich guy but also be dumb because I’m pretty sure it’s his house. I recognised this address when we hacked into his computer. Here I was thinking he was going to somewhere else. We could have taken short cuts…

“There is a short cut to his house, make a quick left turn and then right.”

As Kris made the turn, the houses now were more spaced out and the houses were so pretty. No time to sight see, we have to got to get there. We reached the road that the house is on and I decided to hack into his security settings. Judging by how nice these houses look, I doubt they are using just a lock and chain.

“What was his house number?” I asked myself.

“What?”

“254.”

Getting into this system is quite easy. I guess his house security is as bad as his internet security. I hope there aren’t any secret firewalls to this… his password is 2912. Shin Ah’s birthday… I disabled the gates and house alarm system.

“It’s the truck! I’m pretty sure that’s the house,” Kris pointed out.

Kris parked opposite the house and I jumped out of the car. I ran over to the gates and it opened with ease. Daebak.

Kris was on the phone to the police but I didn’t care, as the leader of the group, I have to make sure everyone in ALPHA is safe, even if it means that I have to break into a house to do it.

“You hacked into the security system?!”

I was about to run into the house when Kris held me back.

“You’re not going in are you?”

“I am. As the leader, I am held responsible for her well being.”

I gave Kris an expression, begging for him to understand me. Kris hesitantly let go of me and I ran up the pathway to the house.
