I put the mic wire underneath my shirt and put on my earpiece. I looked over at Sammy who was having a difficult time putting on her earpiece. She forgot the most important thing. Sticky tape. It’s the only think that keeps the mic in place when we’re doing all these fancy choreography.

“Ji Hae, can you pass Sammy some tape?”

“Neh unni.”

I turned around and saw Xiumin followed by Chen and the other EXO-M members walking onto the stage.

“Anneonghaseyo,” we all greeted each other.

Xiumin walked up to me and smiled, “So have you learnt the dance move?”

I raised my eyebrows, “I think have perfected it.”

“I think Kris has as well, he’s been forcing Tao to practise with him during the Seoul concert.”

I laughed with the thought of Kris tripping Tao while forcing him to dance.

“Sound check is done; can we get everyone off stage so we can get the fans inside the building?”

I smiled excitedly at Chen who walking next to me.

“I know that exact same feeling,” said Chen as he patted my back, “Good luck with today.”

“Thank you!”

Ji Hae and I just finished our “Genie” performance, which was the second last stage (the one with Kris is the last one), and the other members joined us on stage so that we could answer questions sent into us through video messages and also from the fans who came to see us today.

We made our way to our seats where Kris was waiting for us. Unfortunately, he got the position of guest MC… aish… The sound crew quickly ran up on stage and handed us all microphones.

“Let’s just get started on the questions because we have got quite a lot from fans. Alpha sure is popular,” Kris started, “Our first question is from Rachel in Sydney, Australia. Jenny, it’s from your country!!”

I smiled as I turned to the screen. The video went on and as soon as I heard the good old Australian accent, I couldn’t help but grin at the screen.

“Hi Alpha! It is so great to see a female idol from Australia! I just wanted to ask when Alpha would ever come to Australia or any other countries.”

“If you buy us the tickets then we’ll definitely come,” Sammy answered in English, “Nah, we’re just joking we’ll eventually get to Australia because of Jenny.”

I nodded my head, “Definitely, on behalf of international fans, I purposely infiltrated the Korean entertainment industry to get concerts everywhere and when we say World Tour, we’ll mean it,” I said in English before switching to Korean, “So Yeon unni actually likes going overseas.”

“So Yeon-sshi, what places do you like to go?” Kris asked.

“Um…” So Yeon puffed up her cheeks, “Hawaii, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia.”

“That’s a lot of countries,” Kris smiled, “Okay, moving onto the next video, we have Elisa from Indonesia.”

Hello Shin Ah unni, Sammy, So Yeon, Jenny, Min Jung and Ji Hae! My name is Elisa and I am from Indonesia.

“Hello Elisa!” we said to the screen, knowing that she couldn’t really hear us.

I just wanted to know if there were any secrets about the members that we did not know of. I am really a huge fan of Alpha and your music video was so funny. I love it. I love you!

“WE LOVE YOU TOO!”

“So what is it? What are your secrets?” Kris asked.

Sammy raised her microphone and for some reason my heart started beating very quickly.

“On our profiles, it says that Shin Ah unni is ‘infatuated’ with stuffed toys but it is just a tone down from the word ‘obsessed’. Shin Ah unni has filled up our study room with stuffed toys,” Sammy answered.

She then turned to her next victim who was sitting next to her, Min Jung, “Min Min is a total bookworm. She has a very calm aura.”

Min Jung smiled happily; unaware of what was to come.

“Unfortunately, she is a sports maniac when she sleeps.”

Min Jung face palmed herself as Sammy laughed before continuing, “It was during the World Cup and we were all fell asleep in the dance room only to be woken up by Min Jung’s enthusiastically re-enactment of the commentators.”

The fans laughed heartily as Min Jung playfully pushed Sammy. Oh my gosh, whoever she gets next is screwed. This girl works in three and the last one always feels the heaviest blow…

“The last one will be Jenny who we all call the lazy genius.”

“What?” I looked over at Sammy with my eyes wide open in shock.

Ji Hae nodded her head, “When we were trainees, Jenny unni wasn’t bothered to walk all the way to dance practise so she bought a skateboard and just used that to get back and forth and the thing is, guys were attracted to her because of it. She looked really cool on a skateboard.”

“No, I was talking about the fact that Jenny would keep calling our names until we come into the room and she would make it seem so important. We would come running in and she would just say ‘hey, can you pass me the remote?’.”

That’s what I do to my sister; I guess I did that during my trainee days too then.

“You are like the female version of Lay oppa!” I said in embarrassment.

Kris nodded his head while smiling happily, I guess there is someone out there who knows the pains of having their secret blurted out by a fellow member.

“Okay, okay, let’s ask a fan from the crowd.”

One of the staff carried a microphone down to the crowd and picked one at random. The boy squealed as he was handed the microphone.

“Oh… Oh… Anneonghaseyo!”

“Anneonghaseyo,” we said in unison.

“Um… urgh… I just wanted to ask if any of the members play… computer games…”

The members all pointed to me.

“I’m usually on the computer because I love playing this game called Minesweepers. One of my classmates taught me how to play it and I have been hooked on it. I play Left 4 Dead with my friends as well. Most of the time I spend on the computer is on the internet… Some fans might actually know these sites, especially the international one,” I smiled mischievously, “The first one starts with a ‘T’ and it has a ‘dashboard’ and there are gifs from shows, oh, and the second one has a lot of stories and it’s green.”

I heard a few fans here and there moan and squeal so I sent a look their way, “I guess those fans know what I mean. The one with the logo of three figures and a book.”

“Oh my gosh! She knows!” I heard one fan shout out.

“We must move the website!”

Ahahaha. Jenny Nguyen, trolling fans since 2012… daebak. But guys, I am one of you, I will always know.
