I finally reached the house and punched in the password. I slowly opened the door and tip-toed my way into the living room. Something doesn’t feel right… After checking out the bottom floor, I proceeded to go upstairs, guessing that it would be a logical place to take your hostage if you were to kidnap someone, some day, in your life. Seriously, I am going to kill him! Or… at least put him in jail once I catch him.

I heard a creak from the floorboards near the top of the stairs. Fudge, he’s waiting for me at the top of the stairs, probably smiling to himself as he thinks of ambushing me. Well at least I know he isn’t harming Shin Ah right at this very moment.

Then reality kicked in and my muscles froze, I couldn’t do anything. I don’t know how to defend myself properly, let alone instigate a fight. I shouldn’t have left karate classes in year six with just a green belt, frick!

How do I keep Shin Ah safe and me alive at the same time? ALPHA is just not ALPHA if both of us don’t make it out, untouched tonight. I still technically know how to block and… defence is the best offence… right?

I crept up the stairs and made sure that I could be as ninja as I could be.

“HA!” The creep struck me from the side.

I quickly blocked it and grabbed onto his shirt, pulling him down the stairs. When he went rolling down the stairs, I took the opportunity to dash up the stairs.

“SHIN AH UNNI! WHERE ARE YOU?!”

I heard footsteps running after me and I turned around and got into the defence position. The creep was throwing punches at me and strangely, I was blocking all of them and was fighting back with some impressive moves… how the heck am I doing this?

It was during my trainee days and Tao, Xiumin and I were up in martial arts uniform.

Tao massaged my shoulders, “Okay Jenny, you can do this. Today you will definitely get your black belt.”

“You make it seem as if she has failed before.”

“Hyung, I didn’t mean it like that,” Tao defended himself.

I bit my bottom lip as I tightened the brown belt around my waist.

“Oppa… you guys aren’t helping… I feel like I’m going to die.”

Xiumin rubbed my back, “You’ll be okay. Fighting!”

Oh… so Tao, Xiumin and I went to martial arts classes when we were trainees… Daebak. Then again, being friends with those two, I can see why I would be a black belt in –

My thoughts were cut off when I felt the creep’s hand on my right thigh. I looked down and see him holding a needle. Is he stupid? The cap was still on. Face palm. Did he just think that he injected me with whatever that thing was?

Hold on. If I fake being ‘drugged’, maybe he’ll take me where Shin Ah is.

I pretended to be in pain and my right leg was first to ‘give in’.

“I sure hope that needle was clean…”

I collapsed onto the floor and straight afterwards, I was being lifted up and carried off somewhere and lightly placed onto a bed. Oh God… what did I get myself in to?

~~~~~Kris’ POV~~~~~

Aww man... what is taking Jenny so long? I stuck my head through the gates and with every SECOND that went by, my grip on the gate was getting tighter and tighter. For all I know, that person could have knocked her unconscious and is about to do something to her.

I can’t just stand here and not do anything. I have to help her… she’s only 16, there’s less than ten days until her birthday, no matter how much I disagree with the things she does, I have to go inside and help her.

I was lightly placed onto the bed and I heard the creep walk away from me and the footsteps faded out into the hallway. I hope Kris is outside the house and making sure that this creep isn’t going to try and escape.

I opened my eyes and a gasp escaped from my mouth. The room… it was exactly the same as what I saw through the webcam but it seeing it in real life is so… daunting. All four walls and the ceiling, completely covered in candid photos of us. All taken after our MP3 experiment, I could tell by Shin Ah’s hairstyle. This was much more than I saw when I got onto his webcam… this creep…

Footsteps can now be heard and I closed my eyes, making sure that I was in the same position that I was left in. The door opened and my heart was racing, all I could do was pray that it was Shin Ah and that she was safe.

“Yeobo, you stay here with your maid of honour and get ready for the wedding.”

The wedding?!

Oh god… he wants to force Shin Ah into marrying him?

“I’ll be right back; I need to get my best man.”

He had an accomplice? All the evidence I had pointed to one person… there doesn’t seem like there was another person. Damn…

Great, how am I going to take out two men at the same time? Crap. This was a bad plan.
