I was standing in the veranda and was thinking of what happened yesterday.

Was I too rude of not listening to him?

                “JinAh.” I heard him calling my name from behind.

He walked to my side and I faced him.

                “Are you mad at me?”

                “Why would I get mad at you?”

                “Because of what happened last time.”

                “Just don’t mention it, let’s forget all about it Arasseo?” I was ready to leave when he spoke again.

                “Are you happy with me?”

I was surprised with his question.

                “Tell me the truth because if not then-

I run and hugged him.

And these foolish tears uncontrollably fell.

                “I’m happy with you. And I’m sorry for not listening to any of your explanations, it was my fault.”

I felt his arm on my back.

                “Come with me, we’ll be leaving the town together.”

Eomeonoie and Abeojie allowed us and so we travelled to somewhere I had no idea of where it was.

When we reached the place, it was the only time I knew we were in Jeju Island.

We entered a huge house and an ahjumma met us.

                “Welcome back Young Master.”

                “Ahjumma, is everything fine in this place?”

                “Deh, Young Master. I know you’re tired of your trip, so please follow me as I will show you the way.”

Youngmin took my hand as we entered the huge house.

                “We’ll stay together in this room?” I asked a little scared.

                “Don’t be too choosy, I want you to stay with me tonight. I will do nothing to you so don’t be scared.”

                “I’m not scared, who told you I’m scared.”

He smiled and he invited me for a walk outside. We walked hand in hand in the sea shore.

                “It’s cold” I said as the water hit my feet.

                “Arasseo”

He sat down and asked me to climb on his back.               

                “Aniyo, I don’t like.” I said moving away from him.

                “Don’t be stubborn.”

He pulled me onto his back and I wasn’t able to complain.

                “Does it feel better now?” he asked turning his head slightly to me.

I shyly nodded. Since he was carrying me, I thought of resting my head on his broad shoulder.

                “Youngmin”

                “Deh?”

                “Why did you bring me here?”

He was slowly walking on the sand as I waited for his response.

                “Because I know in this place, if ever you cry those tears won’t fall because the wind will be bringing them.”

I stared at him and was astonished with his answer.
