Chapter 56

Walking down the stairs all by herself, Yuri couldn't believe that Yunho is still sulking over the thought of her no longer giving her main attention to him alone but to Yunnie also.

“Mommy!” Yunnie cried loudly, as he ran towards her when she reached the bottom step.

“Yunnie, what happened?” Yuri asked worriedly, as she scoop Yunnie up into her arms.

Looking at his mommy, Yunnie couldn't help but pursed his lips sulkily. Why was his mommy only coming to love him now? Does his mommy not love him anymore?

Looking around, she caught sight of Changmin who was sitting in front of his laptop.

“What's wrong? How's everything going so far?” Yuri asked, sitting down on the couch next to Changmin with Yunnie still in her arms.

“Nothing much. It’s just very hard to track him down.” Changmin said, sighing heavily as he turned to looked at her.

“So, the only way to lured him out is me.” Yuri said, sighing.

“No. I will never let that happened. I will try to find another way to lured him out.” Changmin said seriously, sitting up straight.

“But...”

“Listen to me. I know you want this case to end as soon as possible but this is concerning your safety. I hate to admit it but all of us can’t lose you, Yuri.” Changmin said firmly.

Wanting to change the topic, Yuri looked around the living room before asking, “Where are the others?”

“Kangta went to the headquarters while Mr. and Mrs. Jung...well, it's hard to believe but your future mother-in-law wants to go find the wedding cake for you and Yunho's wedding so she's still changing upstairs. Mr. Jung is with her and I don’t know whether they will bring Yunnie along because he kept for you.” Changmin said, chuckling.

“Mommy.” Yunnie moaned, wanting to grab her attention as he pursed his lips sulkily.

“I’m sorry, sweetie pie.” Yuri said softly, as she smiled down at him tenderly.

“Seems to be you are getting fatter now.” She added.

Hearing what his mommy said, he pursed his lips even longer. Seems like his mommy didn't love him as much as she always did.

“Errr...if I were you, I would make him stop quickly.” Changmin said quickly, when Yunnie started to wailed loudly.

Before Yuri can asked why, Mr. Jung was already walking towards them.

“Yunnie, why are you crying?” Mr. Jung asked worriedly, as he picked up his crying grandson.

“Yuri, how could you make your son sad? He is still a baby.” Mr. Jung said, giving Yuri a disapproval looked before turning his attention to Yunnie, “Shhh, don't cry. Grandpa is here. Do you want to follow grandpa and grandma to the bakery? You can try out all the cakes.” Mr. Jung coaxes excitedly.

“Wh...What?” Yuri choked out, surprised.

“But...Dad, he can’t eat too much sugar or he will get fat.” Yuri added desperately, as she tried to take her son away from her future father-in-law.

Turning around quickly so that Yuri won't be able to reached Yunnie in time, Mr. Jung just waved his hand at her, “Nonsense. You want others to think that I don’t give enough food to my grandson?” Mr. Jung said.

“But...”

“Just focus on your wedding. No need to worry about Yunnie because I'm here to take care of him. I have retired so I can give my full attention to Yunnie.” Mr. Jung said.

“But...Dad...”

“There is no more buts.” Mr. Jung said, waving his hands at Yuri again, before turning to see his wife walking down the stairs.

“Come on, let’s go.” He said, while still holding the crying Yunnie.

“What happened to Yunnie?” Mrs. Jung asked worriedly.

Looking at the still surprised Yuri, he gave her another disapproval looked before turning back to look at his wife, “Its nothing. Let’s go.” Mr. Jung said, walking towards the door.

Giving Yuri a shrugged of his broad shoulder, Changmin followed the older couple out to the SUV.

Yuri, on the other hand, stood there, speechless.

Throwing Yunnie up into the air, he couldn't help but laughed happily.

“Call me.” Mr. Jung said, smiling.

“Grandpa.” Yunnie said cheerfully, receiving a kissed on the cheeks by Mr. Jung.

“What about me?” Mrs. Jung asked, eyes shining brightly.

Looking at the older woman, Yunnie pursed his lips childishly before smiling happily.

”Grandma.” He said.

Hearing him called her grandma for the first time, Mrs. Jung couldn't help but smiled happily. Turning to looked at her husband, she took Yunnie into her arms gently and started kissing his chubby cheeks repeatedly, leaving lipstick stain on his soft cheeks.

Glancing at the grandson with his grandparents, Changmin couldn't help but chuckled to see how much love Yunnie was receiving right now.

Standing all alone in the kitchen, Yuri stirred her tea when she felt the presence of someone. Knowing who it was, she smiled to herself.

“What is it this time, Yunho Oppa?” Yuri asked, without turning to looked at him.

“Sweetheart, where are the others?” Yunho asked confused, looking around.

“Your parents, Yunnie and Changmin went out to the bakery to find our wedding cake and when they get back, I have no doubt that Yunnie will be more than five kilogram heavier and Kangta had left to the headquarters.” Yuri said, before sipping her drink slowly so that she doesn't burned her tongue.

Hearing what Yuri said, his face lit up. Without any warning, he reached out to grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the door.

“Wait. Where are you taking me?” Yuri asked, confused and surprised.

“Were going out on a date!” Yunho announces cheerfully.

“Wh...What? No.” Yuri groaned, pulling her hand back.

“Why not? Both of us have nothing to do.” Yunho asked, looking at Yuri.

Not believing her ears, her jaw dropped opened. How can he think like that?

“Go change your clothes.” Yunho said.

Standing there, she simply crossed her arms and stare at him.

“Why haven't you gone to change yet?” Yunho asked impatiently.

“And why are you looking at me like that?” He added, confused.

Gripping her fists tightly so that she doesn't punched him, she groaned out loudly. Then she walked towards the guest room and slammed the door shut.

”Sweetheart?” Yunho called, from the other side of the door.

“I'm busy. I need to search for that mad man.” Yuri muttered.

"But Changmin and Kangta can do that. Sweetheart, don’t put pressure on yourself.” Yunho said desperately, still knocking on the door.

Ignoring him, she the computer, sat down and started to find where that man can be.
