Chapter 49

While watching Yunnie sleep peacefully, Mr. Jung couldn't help but smiled tenderly before bending down to pick up the sleeping boy.

“I forgot about your bed, baby, but don’t worry, tomorrow, we can go buy your new bed and decorate your room.” Mr. Jung cooed gently.

Hearing his grandpa's soft, quiet voice, Yunnie snuggled closer to him as he bought him upstairs.

Seeing that Yunnie was getting drool all over him, he couldn't help but chuckled quietly.

Once Mr. Jung got to the master bedroom, he opened the door and entered before sighing when he caught sight of his wife.

“Yunnie and I will be sleeping in the guest room.” Mr. Jung announces, turning back around to walked out. Pulling herself up from the bed quickly, she looked at her husband in shocked.

“Why...Why are you doing this to me?!” Mrs. Jung cried.

“I will get back to you. Later.” Mr. Jung said, and walked out of the room.

Feeling the wind hit her in the face, Yuri let out a big sighed. Turning around to looked at Yunho driving, she couldn't stop when a smile appeared on her face to see how cheerful he is.

“Yunho Oppa.” Yuri called.

“Hmmm?”

“Don’t you think we are acting like childrens right now?” Yuri asked, making Yunho chuckled.

“We have a son already but we have been together without him for almost the whole day.” She added.

“Is it my fault?” Yunho asked smiling, keeping his gaze on the road in front of him.

Nodding her head at him, Yuri said, “I hope Yunnie is okay.” Before sighing.

“Don’t worry, honey. Daddy loves him so much. Daddy will take good care of him.” Yunho said confidently.

“I hope your right.” Yuri said, sighing again.

Bringing her hands up to his lips, he place a kissed on it gently.

“Don’t worry too much.” Yunho said, turning to looked at Yuri quickly, flashing her a warm smile before turning his attention back to the road.

Finally smiling at him, she also turned her attention to the front.

Entering the guest room quietly, Mrs. Jung gazed at the two figured sleeping on the bed peacefully. Seems like her husband had fallen asleep after singing Yunnie a lullaby. He didn't even come talk to her like he said he would. Pulling a chair, she sat down while looking at them. Just watching those two sleep, she couldn't help the tears that were swelling up in her eyes. Before her tears could fall, she quickly wiped them off. Until now, she still didn't understand why her family was blaming her for everything. She did everything for this family.

Leaving the room as quietly as when she came, she bumped into Kangta.

“Stop right there!” Mrs. Jung ordered, when Kangta just walked passed her.

Stopping, Kangta turned back around to looked at her with his cold emotionless eyes.

“What do you want now?” Kangta asked, crossing his arms in front of his chest.

“How dare you be so rude to me?” Mrs. Jung muttered, making Kangta chuckled.

“Why should I be polite to someone who doesn't even have any feelings in herself? You should look at yourself first before saying that about someone else.” Kangta said bitterly, before turning back around to walked away.

Hearing what Kangta said, Mrs. Jung's jaw dropped opened. Never in her life had she felt this humiliation. How dare him?

“So, I will them during dinner.”

Hearing voices coming from behind, Mrs. Jung turned around and came face to face with Yunho and Yuri. Looking down at their joined hands, her eyes widened.

“Just ignore her.” Yunho said, seeing that his mom was staring at Yuri before pulling her up the stairs with him, “Yunho! Stop right there!” Mrs. Jung cried, but he just ignored her.

“Jung Yunho!”

Sitting down on the bed, Yuri watched as Yunho locked the bedroom door before sighing.

“What’s wrong, honey?” Yunho asked, once he turned around to see Yuri's expression.

“Why are you so rude to her? She’s still your mom, you know.” Yuri said sadly, once Yunho was sitting down next to her on the bed.

Hearing what Yuri said, he sighed before putting her head to rest on his shoulder.

“Don’t worry about her. She will give in sooner or later. We just need to be like this in order for us to keep our love together and strong so it doesn't end up like how it did three years ago.” Yunho said, grabbing onto her hands. Sighing, she didn't know what to do anymore. At one point, she is happy and touched to see how deep his love is for her but at another point, she feels guilty for being the reason for the mother and son bad relationship.

“Don’t worry, I know what I'm doing.” Yunho said gently, kissing Yuri on the forehed.
