Luhan opened his eyes slowly, blinking sleepily. Chanyeol's face, huge because of its proximity, stretched into a megawatt grin. 'Okay, he's up!' He announced happily.

'Out of my face!' Luhan flapped a hand at his face. Or tried to. He couldn't move, he found, because he was tied up.

'Yeah…' Chanyeol read the question on his face. 'Sorry about that, had to or would've ended with panda eyes like Tao.'

'Hey, why does everyone make fun of my eyes?' Tao whined somewhere in the background. Now that Luhan was more awake, he realized a few things.

First, he was tied up – his arms twisted in a painful hold that made it impossible to move them without breaking. Probably – no, definitely D.O's doing.

Second, everyone else was present and looking at him warily. Like they expected him to attack any moment – which, looking at Chanyeol, Kai and D.O, was apparently exactly what he'd done. One side of Kai's face was swollen and D.O was sporting multiple scratches and Chanyeol… are those bite marks?? What the hell?

Lastly, he was in the living room of the headquarters. How did I get here? I was at the tryouts… he thought wildly. Things didn't make any sense.

He closed his and tried to remember. But his mind turned up a blank. 'What's going on?' he asked, afraid of the answer.

'Well, you got possessed by the beast, I think.' Chanyeol, ever the chatterbox, replied earnestly. 'I mean, I could be wrong but it's obvious because you were acting like a crazed monster and attacking everything in sight, screaming and snarling…'

Luhan's eyes widened with horror. What had he done? 'Chanyeol, enough!' Suho shut him up. 'You're not helping. And open those ties, he's calm now.'

'Okay boss!' Chanyeol saluted. 'D.O., come on.'

D.O came cautiously close and started untying him. With each knot that he loosened, Luhan felt more feeling coming back into his arms. Trust D.O to completely paralyze him with such a hold. Luhan rubbed at his wrists, feeling the blood rushing into his fingers. Something occurred to him.

'Where's Lay?' A vague, dreamlike picture of Lay flying through the air passed his mind and his heart sank.

'We'll talk about that later. Are you okay now?' Suho came closer, holding up his hands in a peacemaking gesture. God, what was I doing that they're all acting like that? It was like they were walking around a caged monster – sort of how they acted around Kris.  He tried to remember again but all that came to his head were flashes of red – and some scenes that seemed straight out of a sci-fi movie. Gah, he wished they were out of a movie.

'I'm fine.' Suho checked him for injuries, ignoring his statement. He turned his head to the side, looked into his eyes, had him stick out his tongue. 'Hmm, you look okay.'

'That's what I just said.' Luhan snapped. 'Will you tell me where's Lay? Why isn't he healing them?' He pointed at Chanyeol and D.O.

'Well, he's out of commission for now.' Suho's statement made his stomach drop.

'Did…' he swallowed before continuing, 'Did I do it?'

'It was an accident.' Suho told him sternly, reading the guilt on his face. 'You weren't in control, okay? Lay will understand.'

Luhan curled up on himself, burying his head in his knees. 'Give me a moment, please.' He spoke to the ground.

'Sure.' He felt Suho moving away, to Kai.

'What about you?' he heard Suho ask.

'I'm fine, really.' Kai sounded like he'd answered the question numerous times already. 'You should check on Lay.'

Luhan tried to look inside himself, thinking back. He clearly remembered getting up to leave the auditorium. Then what had happened? He closed his eyes to think about it.

Her scent…

Even the memory of that intoxicating smell was enough to awaken the beast inside him; he felt it stirring even though he'd been perfectly fine a moment ago. Kai glanced up at him quickly, wondering about the sudden turmoil. Luhan forced himself to calm down.

So this is what happened. He chewed on his lips, wondering. And I thought I'd be prepared when the time came, not a problem. He laughed at his own misconception, making the others look at him warily. He gave them a thumbs up to show he was fine.

Just then, the phone rang. Chanyeol answered, 'Yo Baekie, wassup?'

Baekhyun's voice was loud enough to be heard across the room. 'What happened to Lay? I'm sorry I couldn't call earlier but I felt it and I was like, this is bad, and I told Chen to hurry and we came as soon as we could – and will Suho please tell Kris to take a chill pill? The guy's seriously getting on my nerves… oh, forget about that, what's wrong with Lay?' He paused for a breath.

'He got knocked into the wall by Luhan,' Chanyeol replied, using his height to hold the receiver away from Suho who was silently asking for it. Suho glared at him to stop talking. Chanyeol ignored him. 'Guess who found his mate?'

'No way!' Chen's groan could be heard from the background. 'And here I was sure it was Suho who'd get there first.'

Luhan ignored them all and got up, feeling depressed. He'd attacked his own family – and Lay, of all the people, who wouldn't hurt a fly. He sighed and scratched at his face. Felt something crusted on his fingernails. The faint smell of his mate rose from it. Blood.

He stared at his fingers, horror and disgust rising like bile in his throat.

Uh... this is my first time writing one of these so, first of all ~ *stands up and bows properly* Thank you for reading and subscribing to my story! 

Okay, now that we've gotten that out of the way...

I know the story line's a bit... okay, yeah, its a lot complicated and with all twelve members vying for a place and the OCs, its overcrowded in here. In my defense, I live with an overcrowded family and something is always going on and well, I kinda sorta can relate to twelve people going through life together - I tried to convey that when I wrote the story, so I hope it doesn't overwhelm you. You'll get used to it, hopefully, and it won't be so hard to keep track of all the things going on in here.

Secondly... how do you like the bonus parts? I thought they were pretty interesting but they're sort of an on the spur of the moment thing - I have the story prewritten (its complete so yes, regular updates hehe) and other than checking for spellings or wrong phrases, it doesn't require much editing. The bonus scenes, though, I write when I add a chapter - there are a few scenes that will, maybe, reflect what is going on in the story but mostly, its just random scenes featuring those characters who got less time in the main plot. So, if you have suggestions or scenes you'd like to see, please suggest away and I'll see what I can churn up :3 

And... do comment - I don't bite (I kinda do but only if we're close friends - its all Chanyeol's fault O_O) hehe. Okay, then, until next time. Oh and since I was late in uploading the previous chapter... TADA! double update :3
