The colors seem off this time, but Sulli insisted on her favorite for the wedding—. Sehun didn’t have any protests because, who cares? He’s getting married.

The reception is crazy with kids running around and kisses and tears being exchanged, and Soojung is mentally unprepared for what happens next.

Sulli is smiling brightly with Sehun latched to her arm, trotting in the direction of the large wedding cake set up near the front of the call room. She takes a sweeping gaze over the crowd and her eyes meet Soojung’s.

“Take this, I’ll be back for it later,” she states and walks off, hugging and shaking hands with a cluster of people just a few feet off. Soojung is baffled for a bit until she’s swept into a conversation with some of her and Sulli’s school friends.

Soojung is uncomfortable in her bridesmaid’s dress, and has really had enough of the kids stepping on her shoes as they run past with food and drool on their expensive wedding clothes. When she takes a seat at a table near the corner, the bundle of flowers that Sulli was supposed to hand to the next person to be married, is still in her hands. She contemplates the bouquet’s meaning, and, with an exasperated sigh, tosses it onto the table beside her.

When she feels someone taking a seat beside her, she doesn’t even question who, because the simple black tux and the handkerchief in the pocket is enough to tell her.
“So, are we next in line to get married, princess?” Jongin’s voice vibrates into her ears. Soojung looks up tiredly at her boyfriend who is trying his hardest to lighten her mood.

“Go away, Jongin, I’m not in the mood,” she says, her voice drained from the day’s celebrations. Jongin stifles a laugh and pulls her into his arms. She doesn’t restrain, because honestly, his warm body and strong stature calms her.

“You know, you’ll be a gorgeous bride,” he whispers, letting his breath linger at her ear, sending vibrations down her neck. With a roll of her eyes, she quickly plants a kiss on his lips and stands up.

“Your cheesy lines won’t work on me tonight, Kim,” she states. And as she turns to back to the bustling crowd, she catches just a glimpse of the smirk forming on his lips.
