“Let me get this straight,” MinYoung leaned in, “you came here to Jeju to follow me just so we could bring back the friendship we had?” she asked. WooYoung nodded.

“Jang WooYoung is asking me to be friends again?” she asked and WooYoung nodded again.

“Unbelievable,” MinYoung leaned back to her chair.

“I thought things over and hyung was right. Our companies will be merging soon and it would be easy for us to work together if we treat each other nicely,” he said sincerely but MinYoung looked at him suspiciously.

“Think about it. It’s the best for the company,” he tried to convince her. MinYoung’s hope vanished.

“He’s doing this for our company,” she thought sadly.

“I just want to make this trip worthwhile. If this trip means that we would regain our friendship, then I’ll try and make an effort to regain what we had before,” he softly looked at her.

“How would I know that you’re not pulling a prank on me?” she tilted her head to the side.

“I’m not,” he said.

“Why don’t we try to bring back the friendship we had before? It’s worth a try,” he held out his hand. MinYoung didn’t even move the slightest inch.

“You don’t trust me?” he asked. MinYoung thought for a while.

“Fine,” MinYoung muttered.

“Friends?” WooYoung still held his hand in front of MinYoung.

“Business partners,” she said instead as she shook his hand briefly.
