The door swung open exaggeratedly, Johnny stepped inside his cousin’s room.

“Don’t you even know how to knock?” Irene made a face, while currently affixing her pearl earrings on her ear. He snorted as he flopped to the raven’s bed.

“I don’t. If I did, do you think you’ll still tell me off for not knocking? Besides, it’s not like I’m going to do something inappropriate in here.” He snickered. Once again, he started to taunt his cousin for simple things which was a normal thing for them.

Irene rolled her eyes as she flipped her wavy dark locks behind her shoulder, exposing her smooth skin as it accentuated her visible collar bone, grazing her slender fingers slightly with the white gold chain hanging around her neck. Subsequently applying a red shade of lipstick for the last touch up on her make-up and popping her lips for a quite effect.

She smiled, feeling satisfied at her own masterpiece while she looking at her reflection on the mirror.

Johnny looked at her amusedly. “Aren’t you done yet, noona?”

Then she spun around with a sparkle in her eyes. “How do I look? Pretty?”

He rolled his eyes for the finishing kill when his cousin came back inside. He immediately grinned, innocently. Irene narrowed her eyes at him before she let him off the hook and went downstairs.

Seulgi arrived to the Seo residence to pick up her date. She stepped inside the house with familiarity. The butler opened the door for her and greeted the Kang heiress with a small bow.

“Hear what?” Seohyun stepped in the living room.

Seulgi laughed nervously and shook her head fervently. “Nothing unnie. We were just talking about how I empty your fridge before.”

Seulgi elbowed the man behind her softly. The butler bowed instead and left the room, leaving the two.

An awkward laugh escaped Seulgi’s lips not knowing what to say. She could sense a different aura from the older girl. She couldn’t help but to be scared and be intimidated. She used to feel that way even before too.

“Relax, Seulgi. I won’t bite. But I might, if you do something stupid to hurt Joohyun. Make sure to keep her safe. See you later at the party.” Seohyun said with her flat face but her tone was playful with a mixture of seriousness in it.

The other girl could only nod willingly.

Seohyun smiled before she walked to the exit, giving the latter’s shoulder a squeeze.

Then Seulgi fixed her red Armani suite upon hearing soft shuffling coming down from the stairs. She could hear voices, bickering.

She was slightly struggling to walk properly as her cousin trailed behind her getting impatient. He walked passed her and knelt to fix her shoe.

When Irene reached the last step, she sighed madly. “Why do this stairs have to be this long?” She mumbled darkly as she tried to fix her footwear. Soon, she heard tick tock steps approaching, she looked up.

She held her breath when her eyes and Seulgi’s orbs locked gazes. But Irene’s dark eyes wandered to Seulgi’s new get up. Her once dark locks were now painted with Ash blonde which complimented her fair skin. Her monolid eyes hypnotized her doe-shaped eyes, until it reached to her pink lips.

Joohyun’s face flushed at the sight. Oh God, her hair color suits her well. Beautiful creature, indeed.

On the other hand, Seulgi gulped at the sight of her fiancé. Joohyun was wearing a red lace fit and flare dress with a pair of beige slip on pumps. Her wavy dark locks looked beautiful on her and she couldn’t help but to stare at Irene’s red smoky red lips. The heart-stopping moment intensified and she couldn’t control her beating heart, torturing her ribcage on the process.
