CHAPTER 82

 

 

He said “You’re both here?”

TOP said “Ah. I just…I…we’re waiting for you actually. We’re not doing anything.”

GD smiled and wore his jacket off. He said “Is there any opened window? It’s cold out here. Aren’t you two going to wear a jacket?”

TOP thought “He didn’t get jealous?”

Dara said “It’s not that cold here. We’re okay. Why did you come late?”

GD is talking while he’s going in to his dressing room and hanging his jacket, “I was on the way home from YG when I met an old friend of mine on the street.”

“Isn’t it your rest day?”

“It is. *goes back to the living room* I just finished something in YG. Sorry, are you waiting here for so long?”

“For maybe… hours?”

“Hours? *smiles* Why aren’t you watching the TV? TOP hyung, you’re free to turn it on. Haha.”

He sits beside Dara and gets the remote. He pressed on and says, “Let’s watch. ^^”

Just right after he sat, TOP stands. GD and Dara looked at him.

GD said “Whe-where are you going?”

TOP said “I’ll be leaving you two here first. Enjoy your moment. Hehe~”

He entered his room and kept quiet. He thought “Whew! I hope this won’t last that long. Yes, this is just now! Yeah, this is just for now. TOP, you’re not attracted! You are NOT!”

 

-GD and Dara-

 

Dara said “I thought you’ll be alone this day.”

“TOP will go home tomorrow. Why?”

“I’m not really into…”

“Many boys? I know. We’re left as two in here now, what more do you want?”

“Nothing. Hehe.”

“Why did you go here?”

“I’m here to meet you.”

“Ah… Because I’m your ideal boyfriend?”

“What?”

“I remembered you mentioned me on one of your interview, right?” He’s smiling.

“And then?”

“You came here because you like me so much!”

Dara laughed. GD was staring at her eyes and he’s not smiling at all. Dara stopped laughing because she noticed it.

GD said “Am I really your ideal? Or it just happened that I appeared then you liked me?”

He looked closer to her eyes. Dara was moving away from him. Haha! But GD is still moving closer. Dara sees his brown eyes again.

She said “What are you saying?”

“Am I really your ideal? I said.”

“Yes!”

“How sure are you?”

“I don’t get it why you’re asking these.” She frowned a bit.

GD slowly smiled and pinches her nose. He said “I’m just kidding. Whatever your answer is, I’m still happy and… contented… *holds her hand and puts his fingers in between her fingers* …because I have you now.”

Dara looked at him and smiled. She slaps his face and said “You jerk!”

GD was surprised. He said “Wohh! D-Da—mwo, Waeyo!? *touches his cheek* Why did you slap me?!”

Dara laughs and said “Oohh!”

GD said “Aish. That’s not funny jagiya.” He looks away from her.

Dara felt guilty then said “I’m sorry. I’m sorry jagiya. I never thought--”

GD was brooding like a kid. He is snubbing Dara.

Dara said “Oh. My Jiyong got angry~ No, I didn’t mean to slap you, I’m just joking. What do you want me to do? Does it still hurt? I’m sorry.”

GD is not yet looking at her nor talking to her.

Dara said “Come on… I’m sorry.”

GD is smiling at a snail's pace. Dara’s reaction was like “Huh??”

GD looked at her. “A kiss on my cheek would make me forgive you for that.”

“What? Kiss you here? Are you cracked?”

“You don’t want? My cheek is red and hurting, aren’t you feeling guilty?” –Haha!

“Fine. I’ll do it. Close your eyes.”

“Why?”

“I’m… a bit shy.”

“*sigh* You are always shy. Go~” He closed his eyes. Hahaha. He’s ready to be kissed.

Dara moves closer and hesitates if she should do it. Then she finally kissed him on his cheek.

 

TOP opened the door from his room and goes out. He was stuck when he saw the two from the living room. Haha. Dara was kissing GD’s cheek. His eyes were bluntly widened. He closed the door so it makes sound.

 

GD opened his eyes and Dara moves away. GD said “Ah TOP hyung. He he~ You’re there?”

“Yeah.”

Dara murmured “I told you we shouldn’t do that here. Oh this is embarrassing.”

“What’s the problem with that? TOP already knew this. YG Family knew about us too. And more to the point, it’s okay with TOP hyung. Isn’t it hyung?”

TOP smiled and said “Ah yeah yeah. He’s right. It’s completely okay. We’re guys. That’s normal for us.”

Dara smiled. TOP goes back in to his room but left his door open.

 

He leaned on the wall behind the door. He thought “No! I did not see that! Ah! I can’t stand it if I’ll stay here with them two. I should stop this earlier!”

 

He gets a coat, a cadet hat, and sunglasses for disguise. He goes out of his room. GD notices him.

He said “Oh hyung, where are you going?”

“I’m just going to buy something outside.”

“Could you buy foods for us?”

“Ah ye. Okay.”

“Take care~”

“Yeah.”

 

He goes out. GD and Dara are now left.

Dara said “Lately, we already ate so I won’t eat a lot.”

“You ate with whom? TOP hyung?”

“Ne.”

“Ahh… What did you eat?”

“We ate mandu.”

“He cooked?!” –LOL!

“We cooked. *chuckles*”

“Ah. You two… I see.” He just stares at the table and because of that, he saw the bottle of medicine.

“What is this doing here?” He said.

“TOP was wounded while he’s chopping the onion so I applied some for him.”

“You applied it for him? You also cooked and ate with him! Okay! What else did you two do here, honestly?” –Haha!

“We chat, like how family treats each other. Why?”

“Family? That’s all up to that?”

“Of course. You’re thinking differently again~!”

Jiyong said without being serious, “TOP is handsome, you can go to him now. Follow him.”

Dara remained looking at him. GD said “Go now. TOP hyung has a perfect structure of face.”

Dara smirked while he’s saying that. She said “Why would I go to him?”

“Because he looks better! And it seems that you’re having fun with him more.”

Dara nipped his cheeks and said “My cute little Jiyong is jealous! I won’t go to him even if he’s the most handsome man in the world! You know why?”

“Why?”

“It’s because I can still remember your rule#3. *smiles* My prince is here beside me so I won’t look to anyone. Don’t be jealous.”

“I’m not really jealous. I’m just playing cute in front of you.”

Dara nips his cheek more. GD said “Ah! That hurts!”

Dara lets go of his cheek. She said “You know, love answers all of your questions! I love you for who you are, inside and out!”

GD beamed and said “I think I’ll love you more only if you’re not making my cheeks puffy.” while touching his cheeks. Haha! Because Dara slaps it then pinches it too. LOL!

Dara laughs. GD said “I’m confident enough so you know that I won’t get jealous. Well not all the time… but most of the time. *laughs*”

“I like that.”

“You better do.”

“Ya. You forgot our secret guitar tutorial session! I already forgot what you taught me.”

“I can’t teach you here. I don’t have a guitar with me. I only practice in YG. I borrow from our guitarists.”

“Ohh. So you can’t teach me another song?”

“The short intro of the song that you requested before is enough… well for now.” (Tell Me Where It Hurts by MYMP)

“You’ll teach me again uh?”

“Sure! So what are we going to do now?”

“We’re watching.”

“Ah! Wait! I’m going to play a song to you. I think I have it in my player.”

He runs again to get the player from his room. Dara said “What is he up to now?”

GD goes back with a wide smile. He plugged the wire of the speakers from the living room in his music player. He selected the song and played it.

 

It was the song “Baby Baby by 4Men”.

He said “I mentioned this in an interview in one of the programs that we attended… and I said that I wanted this to be the song in my soon to be wedding… with my soon to be bride… Jagiya……Would you let this to be our song on that day?” –Awww. So he wants to be married to Dara! Kyaaah!

 

“Are you even serious to that?”

“I won’t tell jokes when I’m talking about marriage.”

“Then… it’s okay with me! It’s definitely okay!”

GD smiled. He closed his eyes again and said “I can imagine you now… you’re walking on the aisle wearing the most beautiful white wedding dress… and the prettiest smile… You’re glowing with your long veil… you’re holding a bouquet of flowers and some petals falling onto you from above… while I’m waiting in front and watching you go closer to the altar with me and deliver our vows. And after everything… I’ll be with you and my dream with you will come true…I will be the happiest man in the world.”

 

Dara closed her eyes to and imagines with him. She continued what he’s saying, “While I’m walking on the red carpet of the church… I can see you with your teary eyes and a big smile that looks like you’re telling me, ‘Come here jagiya… we’ve come this far. We made it! I love you so much.’… you’re wearing a black and luxurious looking coat… a decent outfit… the sunlight from the window above the church is hitting you… and it makes it look like a dreamland that I’m walking to go through it. When I reached the altar, the priest will ask me to remove my veil and be kissed by you.”

 

“I will kiss you and time will stop. After our lips collide, that’s the start of our new world… our own wonderland.”

 

“A one happy day with you and an everlasting love of ours!”

 

She opened her eyes after and looked at him. When she glanced at him, he was smiling and staring at her. She said “Oh! Omo. Since when are you doing this?”

GD had his modest smile on his face. He talked, “I’m staring at you all along since you spoke out your words.”

“Really? Why?”

“I’m staring to my soon-to-be-bride’s face while she’s dreaming with me…” –Awww. ♥

“You don’t have to stare at me that long, you’ll see this forever with you.”

“Sure I can. Do you want me to sing the song for you? Only the chorus part?”

“I would love to hear it!”

He stares at her and sings, “Niga neomu, gomapjanha. Oh baby~ (You’re too much, thank you. Oh Baby~) Niga neomu yeppeujanha. Oh~ (You’re too pretty. “*claps* Ooohhh~~ Jiyong-ah, your voice is in a good condition! You sound great!”

“*smiles* I’m horrified! *covers his face* My voice is really rubbish. Next time, just listen to Taeyang’s voice more!” –Haha!

“Jiyong! I didn’t find your voice dreadful or what… Hm, maybe because I was hypnotized with your brown eyes~ Euhaha! But anyway, Taeyang’s voice is grand but I would like to listen to your voice more.”

“I trust you.” He said jokingly.

Dara laughed. She said “There’s one thing that you’re better at Taeyang.”

“What is that?”

“You make me fall for you for only about a day.”

“A day?”

“We’re still trainees those days. I’m not sure if you still remember it but it was unforgettable for me.”

“I think yeah, I can’t remember. What’s that?”

“I started being attracted to you when you took the consequence for me.”

“Oh! So that’s when we, Se7en hyung, Youngbae, Hyun Seung and Minzy are together? Ne. I can still remember that! We went out to eat on a restaurant and you sang in front of us, right?”

“Woah! You really can remember it.”

“Of course.”

Dara chortled.

The two talked for hours. They are starting to be comfortable to each other. They do things naturally.

While watching TV, Dara puts a pillow to GD’s lap and she lied. GD was a bit surprised. He said “What are you doing?”

“May I sleep here?”

“Sure you may. You got sleepy eh? Are you bored?”

“I’m not bored. My eyes hurt because we’re watching the whole time.”

“So you’re bored?”

“No. With you? No.”

He smiled. GD continued watching and he’s not talking nor making a move because Dara is sleeping.

Dara is now deeply asleep.

 

-TOP on the outside-

 

He goes to the store. He chose the foods that will make Jiyong’s appetite active.

He’s thinking, “I’m so relieved that I got out of that place or else this will grow to something more than anyone would expect and I don’t want that!”

He’s starting to be out of himself. He’s mistakably picking the items by not reading its brand first so he keeps coming back to get the right one. He got out of the store already.

It’s cold outside. He’s walking so fast when someone called him.

“Oh. Seung Hyun!”

He looked back and he was his senior when he was still young. He’s honestly shocked when he saw him. (TOP usually hangs out with older men than him before.)

He said “Oh! You’re here!”

“Yeah I’m here.”

“No I mean, you’re still here? You’re still alive?” –LOL! Because he was already old when TOP is on his teenage years so what more to now.

“Aish! What a nice greeting. I would just take that as a kind word! Yes, I’m still alive! You grew horns now uh? And longer horns!” –Haha. They’re insulting each other.

“I’m sorry hyung. I didn’t mean to say that.”

“Ay! Jokes are half meant. Whatever, ya! Ya! Where are you going now?”

“I’m going back to our dorm.”

“You’re looking good nowadays. Where are you getting your manliness? *taps his shoulder* Ha ha!”

TOP just chuckles shyly. His friend said “Do you have time? Let’s have a drink, a tea or something.”

“Oh ye. Okay.”

They go to a café bar and look for a table for them to sit in.

His friend said “I watched your movies! I didn’t know that you act that great! A leading actor in a blockbuster movie! Big time eh?”

“Ne. *bows* Gomapseumnida.”

“The last time I saw you personally was in your Big Bang documentary days. You grow so fast!”

“Yeah.”

“And taller.” –looks up to him. LOL!

TOP laughs.

“You know, I like Big Bang’s music. Like dude, how are you all maintaining the popularity through your newly released songs?! Every time it comes out, people like it. You’re amazing!”

“Thank you.”

They found two seats. They sat on it, bought a cup of tea for them two and they talked again while having a tea.

“How does it feel being famous?”

“……….It feels like you’re standing on top of the world.”

“Must be so good~ Ayy. You’re not yet changing, you’re still quiet.”

TOP smiles.

“You’re living with Big Bang. Ah man! That’s fantastic! A normal thing for you~”

He drinks the tea and didn’t reply.

“Ahh! TOP… *goes closer to him* Tell me, who do you think is the best?”

“All of them are the best.”

“Aish. You’re playing safe. Come on, just a clue!”

“All of us are best in our own ways.”

TOP’s reaction was like “Oops!! Ahk! I said it!”

He covers his mouth.

“We can’t be.”

He looked at TOP and he observed him that he just begun being silent.

He said “Why did you become quiet? …….. Oh! You! You mean you like a celebrity?!”

“Aish. Will you keep your voice low?! Ne… we can’t be because she already had a boyfriend.”

“Oh! That’s got to hurt! You got to back off, man.”

“I know. That’s what I’m doing.”

“If you keep on going, you’re making a big mistake.”

“Is she treating her well because if he isn’t… I think it’s just right to steal her from him.”

He drinks the tea. TOP was staring nowhere.

 

Waa! TOP’s situation is brain wrecking! It’s hard too. Taeyang has gone through that and he’s already over it. They have almost the same condition with Taeyang before, the only difference is before, Taeyang fell in love with Dara not knowing that his best friend loves her too while TOP fell in love, I mean, was attracted to Dara when he already knew that GD and Dara are in a relationship. Another rival has arrived GD! Uhwaa.

 

After they talked, TOP said that he’ll go home now. His friend wished him a good luck to his career and to his love life. TOP was now walking again.

He said “My brain is beating.” –Hahaha!

He had an idea and that is to buy something that he thinks that will keep his head calm. He bought many bottles of soju! Haha! Maybe around 9 bottles? He’s ready to get drunk uh? LOL

 

He goes home and he’s smiling. He said “I will drink this all in my room then I’ll get drunk then when I woke up, this feeling is gone already! All gone!”

 

He now arrived in their dorm. He opened the door and walks quickly into his room to hide the soju’s.

He thought “Jiyong can’t see that I bought soju’s! He’ll think that I have a problem and worry about me, then if I get drunk, I might accidentally say it to him!”

But then since it’s all in a glass bottle and placed in a paper bag, it sounded while he’s walking. Hahaha. How could you not think of that TOP? Haha.

 

GD said “TOP hyung!!”

TOP looks at him and said “Eh?”

He now saw Dara sleeping on the couch with her head on his lap. He felt a bit jealous.

“Where are the foods?”

He thought “Phew! I thought he saw it.”

“Here.” He laid the foods on the table. He walks away.

GD said “Ya hyung! Do you mind sharing me the soju’s that you bought?”

TOP looked back and said “Huh?” He was shocked to know that GD saw it. Haha!

GD is smiling. He said “Are you going to drink it all on your own? That’s too many.”

Because of their conversation, Dara was awakened.

She saw TOP so she becomes shy of what she’s doing. She sits back on the chair.

GD said “Oh jagiya, sorry if we woke you up.”

Dara just smiles and cutely rubs her eyes.

TOP said “I’m… not…Ahh…” –Hahaha. Trapped?

GD said “Want sharing it? Let’s drink!”

Dara looked at him and said “You’re going to drink again?”

“Soju is a healthy drink, it’s okay.”

“But it still has alcohol! Rule#5! Don’t smoke or drink to excess!”

“Yes. I got it.”

“Ahh… I think it’s awkward if I’m still here while you’re both drinking. I’ll go home.”

“Ah. TOP, forget what I said, I won’t drink.”

TOP thought “Whew!” He said “Are you sure?” –Hahaha! Like as if you want him to. LOL.

Dara said “Why?”

“Because I’ll leave you if I joined him… I’m better off not drinking.”

“No, it’s okay with me! I trust you. Go. I need to go back to our dorm anyway.”

“You mean you’re letting me drink?”

“Yes. You know your limits already so I trust you.” She gives a scary stare to him.

GD said “Yeah yeah I got it. But jagiya! You just woke up!”

“Ye. I’m still sleepy truthfully.”

“Don’t leave yet! Can you stay here for a little while?”

“You mean I should sleep here?”

“Yes! In my bed room.”

“Is that okay?”

“Yes! You can sleep there while we’re drinking here. I’ll just wake you up when we’re done.”

“Okay. Promise me you won’t get drunk!”

“Araesso.” She stands up. TOP was like “What the—! What just happened? I thought it’s all okay but then it ends up thorny like this, for me! Ahhh!!!” –LOL

She ducked her head to TOP when she passed by him. She enters Jiyong’s room.

 

Inside Jiyong’s room, it’s clean again.

Dara said “Any of his room is clean! Always clean!" She sits on his bed, she saw the bed sheet. It’s Tom and Laura.

She smiles and said “He’s really a ert. Pwahaha!”

She lies on it and said “Ah! This is soft! *she smells it* it just smells like him! It smells good, this is newly washed! Ha ha! Oh! Why do I smell this? I’m becoming weird.” –Haha! When she lies on it, she remembers the time when she lies on GD’s bed too on his house and she can clearly smell his cologne. Right now, she feels like GD is beside her and hugging her because of the smell. And that smell can only make her drowsy that fast, so because of it, she closed her eyes and fell asleep again.

 

On the living room…

 

TOP was standing. GD said “Come, I’m glad that Dara allowed me. Sit here.”

“But…”

“But what?”

“I can’t believe it…”

“She allowed you?”

“We made a deal before, it will be okay. Don’t worry.”

He sits on the couch beside him. He supposed “Oh God. I’m so going to be in trouble!” –Hahaha!

GD started eating the foods that he bought. He said “You really know the foods that I like! Haha! *chews* This is ahhh~ Delicious!”

TOP eats with him. GD said “This is cool, we’re left as two in here, and we both drink! Isn’t it fun? No annoying maknae~ Ahh! This is more than a day off!” –Haha!

“I’m done eating. Shall we start the session?”
