 Chapter Seven  Zip It.

"Man..You guys have got to learn how to keep your mouths shut." Kris snapped at the two boys who were talking about them earlier.

So, Mr.Kim, any day now. Mrs.Jin smirked as she knew what the look on Chen's face meant. "." Chen muttered under his breath as Kris chuckled softly.

There was a knock on the door of the instrument room and the door creaked open, revealing Brian. He smiled apologetically at the teacher that he assumed was giving a lecture to the class. “So..you’re the new student?” Mr.Kongho said as Brian smiled, nodding his head once before revealing his tag around his neck. “Take a seat beside Sehun.” Mr.Kongho said before continuing his lecture.

Brian bowed slightly before making his way towards Sehun who was sitting at middle row in the room. He took off his bag to sit down, placing his bag on his laps. He felt eyes glued onto him, which made him turn his head to catch Sehun staring right at him. “Uh, Sehun?” Brian asked as he waved at Sehun a little, causing him to tear his eyes away from Brian.

“Weird kid.” Brian murmured under his breath before facing front to focus on the lecturer.

The bell rang, signaling students that it was time for lunch break. Students grabbed their things and left the classrooms while Hae Jung pushed herself up from the chair to leave the classroom. As she walked down the hall, a guy crept up beside her. “Boo.” She recognized that voice, it was Brian’s. She turned around, only to raise an eyebrow at him. “Seems like your day is going well.” She said as she stopped walking. He chuckled before reaching for her hand. “Follow me.” He smiled as he dragged her. “Where are we going?” she questioned him but he didn’t answer her. They walked up flights of stairs and she had a rough idea where they were going.

They stopped on the highest floor and he leaded her towards the end of the hall. He opened the door with his mind, revealing the rooftop of the building. He pulled her out before closing the door with his mind power. “Why did you bring me up here?” Hae Jung questioned him as she placed her books down on the bench. He took a seat beside her before smiling. He turned to face her, staring into her eyes. If he looked deep enough, he could see that girl that was once happy a few centuries ago. He could remember the incident flashing up into his mind as if it was yesterday. If he could remember it well, Hae Jung should be able to remember it as though it happened a minute ago.

“What are you staring at?” she questioned as she tilted her sideways a little. “You, just..you.” he smiled before reaching to tuck strands of her hair behind her ear. She didn’t flinch, she wasn’t even bothered about him doing this to her. She was so used to his touch. “Spill it, I can’t read your mind.” She furrowed her eyebrows because she really couldn’t read his mind. He was one of the people that could stop her from reading his mind. “Too bad,” he grinned before standing up. “classes are starting soon, let’s go.” He said as he reached for her hand but she swiftly made her way to the door in a split second.

“Tch, like I would want to walk with you.” She snapped at him before opening the door but he shut the door close with his mind. She shot a glare at him that seemed like nothing to him. He reached for her hand and this time she didn’t avoid it. “Don’t walk away from me like that. You’re all I’ve got.” He smiled before opening the door with his mind to lead her out.

He carried her books until they reached two big doors. “Brian, what are we doing here?” she questioned him but he rolled his eyes at her. He flipped open one of her books, showing the schedule. “We have History now. This class will be taken by everyone. So you can be with me.” He smiled before closing the book. “Let’s go in.” he smiled once more before opening the door. “Wait!” she raised her voice a little as he froze, only turning his head to look at her.

“Why? What’s wrong?” he questioned her worriedly. She gazed down to their hands and he understood that immediately. “Ah, our hands?” he questioned as he lifted his hand that was holding onto hers. “I don’t care. And neither should you. We both know there’s nothing going on between us, and if others think otherwise, let them. This isn’t the first time anyway.” He said before pulling her in once he opened the door.

Just like how she entered the Art class previously, everyone was already staring at them even before they took a few steps. “Just hang on the two of you lovebirds,” Mr.Ho said, causing the both of them to stop walking.

Xiumin lifted his head to take a quick glance at who Mr.Ho was talking to. He shrugged his shoulders before looking back down to this book but looked back up immediately when he realized it was Hae Jung and Brian. “D-dude,” Xiumin said as he nudged Luhan by his arm. “What?” Luhan asked, lifting his head up to look at Xiumin but the first thing that caught his eyes were the same two people that caught Xiumin’s attention. “Exactly, that’s what I was trying to tell you.” Xiumin said as he followed Luhan, staring at the both of them.

“Guys, they’re here.” Luhan said as he turned around to inform Kris and the rest. Xiumin, Luhan, Tao, Kai, D.O. and Suho were sitting on the row in front of the other six. They weren’t sitting too front, or too far off behind. Just in the middle of the huge room that fitted everyone. Twelve boys now lifted their heads to stare at their trainers standing in front of everyone.

“What now? You two were late because you two were busy going out on a date?” Mr.Ho snapped at them, causing a few people in the room to laugh. Hae Jung avoided the teacher’s eyes as she tried to pull her hand away from Brian, but it was useless. He was far stronger and calmer than she was. “And what if I say yes? Didn’t we still make it on time?” he questioned the teacher, causing gasps to fill the whole room, including the twelve boys.

“Y-You..” the teacher stuttered his words as he was shocked to get this kind of response from a student. “If you don’t mind, we’ll be taking our seats now. And hopefully we’ll learn something very knowledgeable from you.” Brian said before flashing a smile at the teacher. He pulled Hae Jung’s hand, leading her towards the seats right in front of D.O. and Suho.

He pulled the chair for her and she sat down before he handed Hae Jung her books. Brian sat down beside her as she tried to focus on the teacher speaking but she failed because Brian kept bothering her. “Look, its bad enough you nearly got our asses in deep , now please focus on the lesson!” She hissed at Brian softly, causing Brian to smile.

Suho, D.O. along with Kai heard what Hae Jung said and couldn’t help but laugh softly behind them. Brian turned around to see who was laughing and he smiled the moment he saw those familiar faces. “Didn’t know you guys were behind us.” He waved a little as the three of them smiled.

“Didn’t know you had the ability to talk to an older person like that.” Kai snapped back at him but Brian chuckled. “Please, if that teacher were to know how old I really am, he would faint, rollover, wake up and faint again.”

The three boys couldn’t help but laugh, catching the attention of Mr.Ho that was walking around while talking. “Guys!” Tao hissed at the three boys from behind but it was too late, Mr.Ho was already beside Suho and Brian as they were sitting at the sides of the rows. Suho gulped before looking down at his book, he’s never gotten in trouble in college before. Since he was one of the top students in college.

“Suho, what happened to you? Why are you mixing with people like them?” Mr.Ho questioned as he slammed his book in front of Suho, causing the whole room to be dead silent. “I expected more from a top student.”

Brian only chuckled before he stood up, trying to make Mr.Ho feel intimidated as he was taller than Mr.Ho. “Look, Suho has nothing to do with this. It was all me, so if you want to find someone to play fault with, you can play with me all day. I don’t mind.” Brian winked and smiled before tapping the teacher’s shoulder. Mr.Ho’s mouth gawked open before the whole class start laugh.

“What’s your name?! Tell me your name and I’ll see you after class!” Mr.Ho exploded as he couldn’t calm down. Brian only lifted up his tag to linger it in front of his face. He lowered down the tag, only to reveal Mr.Ho in a shock. “Y-You’re Brian Wong?” he questioned softly before Brian smirked. “As so it says on my tag.”

He glanced back at Hae Jung who looked away the moment he looked at her. Brian scooted over a little, so Mr.Ho could see Hae Jung perfectly, “And this is Hae Jung. We’re both new here.”

Mr.Ho’s eyes widened before he cleared his throat. “Sit back down Brian. I’m so sorry.” Was all he said before he took his book that he slammed in front of Suho earlier to continue with his lesson. As he walked away, he turned around to head back towards Suho. Suho backed up until his back touched D.O.’s arm slightly. “Suho, I’m sorry. Sincerely, I apologize.”

The class was once quiet again. Mr.Ho walked away as Brian chuckled before sitting back down. He bumped Hae Jung with his arm, which caused Hae Jung to smack him at the back of his head. “Ow! What was that for?!” Brian raised his voice a little, not too loud as he rubbed the back of his head. “You’re abusing your powers.” She hissed at him before she started to write down the notes on the board.

At the end of the class, Hae Jung got up and started to pack her things. Just like that, the whole room was down to Hae Jung and thirteen boys. Seems like people around here leave as fast as they can to head back home to be safe. Not that she blamed them or anything. If she was human she would probably want to leave as quickly as possible.

Brian got up and turned around, leaning his waist on the table as he watched the twelve newborns pack up. Brian caught Suho stealing glances at him as he was packing. He thought Brian didn’t notice, but he did. “Is there something wrong?” Brian asked as he took a step closer, standing right in front of Suho with the table being the barrier between the two.

“N-Nothing it’s just, Mr.Ho..”

“Ah,” Brian smiled before leaning away, to lean his waist against the table again. “You mean why he backed off just like that? And why he apologized?” Suho nodded his head, as a few of them grouped around Suho. “I used my powers on him. He needed to apologize to you after how he treated you.” Brian smiled deviously as he glanced back at Hae Jung that got up from her chair. She took a glance at the boys before squeezing herself through the space between Brian and the table to get out but she failed because Brian hugged her the moment she tried to leave. “Not so fast, where do you think you’re going?” Brian squeezed her tighter as she violently pushed his hands away. “Where do you think I’m going?” She hissed him as he smiled at her.

A few of the boys’ eyes widened at the sudden skin contact. The rest were just having a poker face on but in their heads, they were having the same reaction as the others. “Are you two a couple?” Sehun blurted out as Brian smiled. “We’re not. But everyone thinks so.” Brian answered as he followed Hae Jung out of the room.

“They’re not together? Bull.” Kai said as he picked up his books on the table the moment the two seniors were out of the room. “Well I don’t think they’re together.” Sehun protested as he followed behind Kai that was walking out of the room. “If they weren’t together, why would they touch each other like that?”

“Maybe they’re just close friends.” Lay said as he shrugged his shoulders. “Close friends my .” Kai snapped at them, causing the rest of the boys to laugh behind them. “If you want to say something, say it to our faces.” A girl spoke up beside them. They widened their eyes and darted at the girl walking beside them, who happened to be Hae Jung.

“S-Sorry,” Kai apologized softly. “We were just messing around.” Sehun said quickly as Hae Jung let out a soft scoff. “Let’s get out of here. The faster we start your training, the faster we can end it today.”

“Our training?”
“Today?”
“Wha-?”

Before they could get any answers they realized the girl that was walking beside them a few moments ago was gone.“Where the hell?” Kris cussed as he furrowed his eyebrows. “Over here.” Hae Jung spoke loud enough at the end of the hall. The boys turned around and saw her on the other end of the hallway. “We’re using the back way. If you’re not out in 2 minutes, you can jolly well walk by yourselves.” She said before she disappeared in a blink of an eye.

“Man..You guys have got to learn how to keep your mouths shut.” Kris snapped at the two boys who were talking about them earlier. “Sorry.” Both Kai and Sehun whispered softly before heading towards the back door.

The moment the twelve boys spotted the black van, they walked towards it. When they reached in front of the van, the doors flung open revealing Celestial. The tigress eyed each and every one of them with its crystal blue eyes. Celestial let out a soft growl before turning away, allowing the boys to enter. Slowly one after another entered the van and got seated. The doors shut tight immediately after they were inside the van.

Soon the van took off, and the boys gripped onto anything near them to keep them balanced. Hae Jung stood in front of the map that was on the side of the van as Sty came to rest on her shoulder. She glanced at the eagle before patting his head. “We’re going there,” she pointed at the red spot on the map as the eagle's eyes darkened.

“I know we didn’t have great memories there, but we have to.” She smiled a little before shrugging her shoulders so the eagle would get off. She shut her eyes tight for a moment to collect her thoughts. The boys were staring at her, wondering what was going through in her mind. “We don’t have to go there if you really can’t, Hae.” Brian spoke up, still focusing on driving. “No, we’re going there.” She whispered softly to Brian, who could only nod his head. Celestial came by Brian’s side to rest her head on his lap. "I'm not going to let a bunch of memories haunt me forever." she snapped at him before she turned around to slide her back against the side of the van until she reached the ground.

“If she says she can do it, I believe she can.” Brian whispered into Celestial’s ears.

“What’s wrong with where we’re going?” Luhan whispered to Suho, who was just as clueless as he was. “I have no idea.”

“I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.” Kyungsoo said as he joined the conversation.
