36 Way Back Into Love
So Sweet, So Simple
[Sora's POV]
I was walking back to the karaoke room from the restroom when I see Yoseob is leaning to the wall, right outside of our VIP room. He is closing his eyes. He looks tired.
I approach him and he straighten up his body.
"Are you alright?" I ask him. He doesn't look really good.
"Ne," he gives me a forced smile. It's not his usual cheerful smile.
"What happened?" I ask him directly. Something is definitely bothering him.
He looks at me without a word. I tilt my head, waiting for his answer.
He touches my cheek. His hand feels so cold. I flinch when I feel his touch. He combs my short hair with his fingers, moving it behind my ear.
"If only I could come to you faster...," he murmurs with a guilty expression.
Is he apologizing because of my hair?
Gikwang did it for almost a hundred times. I told him that I'm fine with the short hair. Well, not 100% though. I do miss my long hair but I don't blame them.
A sound of the opened door makes us jump a little. It's Doojoon.
Yoseob walks pass me and leaves me standing in the corridor. He enters the room and I follow him, nod at Doojoon who is having a puzzled expression.
"Sora!" Hyunseung waves at me. "Our turn now!"
Dongwoon passes over the microphone and I look at the song list.
Way Back Into Love.
[Hyunseung's POV]
It's an OST of Music & Lyrics. It's a great movie and I love this song. I hope Sora knows this song too.
She gives me a quick smile when the song starts, giving me a sign that she knows the lyrics. I smile at her, waiting for her to start,

I just can't seem to move on"
Well, her voice is really good. She is moving her head a little every time she's done with a line, making her looks really cute.
I smile while I'm singing my part,

Just in case I ever need them again someday
I've been setting aside time
To clear a little space in the corners of my mind"
We look at each other when we sing the refrain together,
"All I want to do is find a way back into love
I can't make it true without a way back into love

I look at her, singing the female's part with her best,
"I've been watching but the stars refuse to shine
I've been searching but I just don't see the signs

There's got to be something for my soul somewhere"
Sora has been more cheerful compared to the first time we met her. She smiles more often now and I'm happy to see her smile.
It's not that I don't like her being herself, her quiet and calm personality; maybe her unique personality that makes her more special when she smiles.
I sing the male's part now,
"I've been looking for someone to shed some light
Not somebody just to get me through the night
I could use some direction
And I'm open to your suggestions"
I notice Gikwang's eyes are looking at Sora. He is smiling, dazzled by Sora's voice,
"All I want to do is find a way back into love.
I can't make it through without a way back into love.
And if I open my heart again,
I guess I'm hoping you'll be there for me in the end"
The other members clap for us. Sora smiles shyly. I'm glad she looks really happy. I hope she is enjoying these moments.
She sings the next verse,

We look at each other when we sing the last refrain together,

The song has ended. I pat her head softly and she smiles at me.
I love her smile. She looks really cute when she is smiling. I feel really lucky to know her. Oh, Gikwang is the luckiest of us.
"Thank you," she bows. "You are a wonderful singer."
"You too," I smile at her. "You know that we'll be there for you."
[Sora's POV]
Way Back Into Love is a nice song. Hyunseung picked a great song for a duet. He is the member who treats me really nice; all of them are nice but maybe he is the second member who is really close to me as a brother other than Gikwang.
Ugh, do I still think of Gikwang as my brother?
"Are you alright?" Gikwang asks me. He has a worried expression in his face. Dongwoon is singing the next song with Junhyung now, bouncing happily with the beat of the music.
"I'm fine," I answer simply.
"I guess it's our turn next, if you want too," he says with a doubt tone, unsure of his own words..
I give him a smile, assuring him that I'll be happy to sing with him.
