He suddenly had one arm around me and I could feel his warmth. I believe he is a bit tipsy or why would he come so close to me. 

" I don't have a girlfriend," he said to me looking in my eyes and I felt relieved yet still confused. 

" I am very busy with work and travel very frequently," he said to me and I was trying to be understanding. I don't know why I was being so possessive of him since we just met. 

" What do your work as," I asked him and I could see him giving me a hesitant look.

" I work for a media company," he said and lifted his glass and took a big sip. 

" Actually, we don't live very far from each other," he said to me smiling and honestly I did not know what to reply to him and I just kept quiet and smiled at him taking another sip of my drink and listening to the music he was playing. 

"Mayling, you look pretty without makeup" he said and it made my heart flutter, yet it was a strange compliment to receive. 

" Thank you" I smiled at him and I could feel him lifting his hand and touching my right cheek with his fingers softly. I froze but I was internally screaming. His eyes were piercing through mine and I don't know what I should do or what he is about to do.
