[ Mayling Prologue ]

Sejin smiled at me and I rolled my eyes.

" I am going to head back to the office upstairs and you are not going to say a word" 

" Okay boss" he replied sarcastically.

I few days have passed and I have finally recovered from my cold.

Work was at it's busiest peek since BTS was having a comeback. 

And thanks to the comeback I didn't have to see Jungkook so much around office.

I was about to leave my house when I saw the ring still placed on the bedside table.

Picking it up I walked to the garbidge bin.

I already stopped on the bin to open the lid but something felt wrong.

I shouldn't be throwing this away.

Putting it in my pocket I rushed out of my house since I was running late already.

Soobin and I have been texting back and forth for a while but I guess we are taking things slow.

We are both busy and something felt wrong about the relationship we had.

If I can call it a relationship to begin with.

Reaching office I got to my office desk.

Taking out the ring from my pocket I looked at it.

Sigh... 

The best thing for me would be to return it.

I placed the ring in an envelope and sealed it.

I got up from the desk and walked to the lift. 

" Hey there" I heard a voice call me as I pressed the lift.

" Morning" I smiled.

" Sneaking around again? she asked me and I got a closer look.

Deea was holding a DSLR camera 

" Which floor are you going to?" I asked her to avoid the topic

" Same as you"

" Visiting Taehyung?" I said with a grin on my face and she gave me the "shush" sound

" Filming him to be exact" 

" That sounds odd" 

" It's my job" she sighed.

" You don't seem fond of it, fought?" 

She nodded her head.

" Well maybe you should just go for 1 guy" I mocked her

" Hey don't repeat my words" she laughed and nudged my shoulder.

The lift opened and Taehyung and Jungkook were standing there.

Deea and I walked passed them not making eye contact.

As soon as we heard the lift behind us close we looked at each other with wide eyes and started laughing.

That was such a priceless moment.

" Did you see the look on Jungkooks face?" she asked me almost not being able to catch her breath.

" No!!! I was too busy trying to keep a straight face lol" 

After a few seconds, we calmed down.

" So why are you actually here?" she asked me again and I showed her the envelope.

" Who is the love letter for" 

" It's not a love letter, it the ring Jungkook gave me. I couldn't throw it away"

" Then go sell it or something and donate the money to people in needs"
