**Author Note** Hello my lovely readers and sorry for being away for like 5 ish days. Had an assignment due so I was forcing myself to write that before writing another chapter.

[ Mayling Prologue ]

My heart was racing and I was feeling nervous as the words of the officers were repeating in my head.

I just couldn't understand who would want to do something like this to me?

Could it be Jungkook's fangirls?

Or was it, Mr. Bang, trying to scare me? 

" Are you okay?" Jungkook places his warm hand on my back and I look at him still terrified. Not being able to say a word I place my head in my hands.

" Take her to your place and get some rest, I will get your door fixed" Sejin replied and we nod. I was thankful for his kind help especially at this hour of the day.

I was sitting in the living room and watched Jungkook going into my bedroom taking some clothes.  

" Let's go," he said and took my hand. I am so glad to have him comfort me at this moment. 

We drove in silence. I could feel that he wanted to ask more questions but he was also scared to hurt my feelings. 

Reaching his place. We walked in together. 

I could see the dark circles around his eyes. He must have been exhausted. 

" Let's get some rest," I said to him to kill the silence that was around us. 

He nods at me and disappeared into the bathroom. 

I crawled into the bed. Trying to make myself comfortable. 

Closing my eyes. I could hear Jungkook come to the living room.

" Are you sleeping?" he asked in a soft voice as he was moving onto the bed. I kept my eyes closed acting like I had fallen asleep. But in fact, I just didn't know what to say to him and was too tired to have a conversation at this hour. As well, slightly curious fo what he would do.

He got under the blanket and moved close to me. So close I could feel his warmth. 

I was trying hard not to smile.

" I hope this wasn't because of me," he said in a soft tone and brushed a strain of hair away from my face. Then he lay down and went to sleep.
