24 | Threat

Five days later since Yoongie wrote the letter, Yoong got busier with left and right meetings with her cabinet officials and NSC officials. Ever since then also, Yoongie never appears anymore and he somehow felt good about it. That just means he only have one split personality left and that's Yoon which he thinks will only appear if he will be in danger. But since then also, he barely can have time with Seohyun who is also busy with her preparation for the mission that will take place in two days. It's hard to ask her out also even for one night knowing the security outside. It will be risky.

"You don't have any schedule anymore Mister President. What do you want to do?" Secretary Kim took her seat on the sofa across where the young President is resting his head to the headrest. "You can go for a walk outside the palace with our agents around you. Or go exercise. You've been skipping it since you got busy."

Yoong composed himself and look straight to his secretary. "Can you call Agent Seo?"

"At this time?" Secretary Kim quickly check her wrist watch and couldn't agree with the President. "She's busy with the training at time like this. After 8pm, she's free to be called."

Yoong shifted his eyes to the wall clock and sighs. There's still five hours for that and it's making him feel gloomy. He missed her. Although she calls in the night, it's just like thirty minutes. Feels like they're in a long-distance relationship for five days already. "I'll just go to the gym then." He decided to use his free time to the thing he had been missing also as he got up and left the living room, leaving his secretary without any further words.

"The life of being in love." Secretary Kim couldn't help and be amused. But she didn't miss and sent Agent Seo a message.

After putting on comfortable clothes, Yoong dropped lied on his bed, staring in daze on the ceiling. His mind wanders from the Junghyun and his death, Hyoyeon and Ares, the security of the people and Seohyun being on a mission. All of it is giving him anxiety, especially Seohyun, who will be risking her life the next two days. It felt like sending someone you love there to protect you and the country. Is it right to do it? It's stressing him how it's worrying him.

Suddenly his phone beeps from next to him, snapping him out of reality. As he checked it, he quickly sits up and play the video.

Hyoyeon can be seen checking the mic in an unknown room before he faces the camera and spoke, "Hey there, Mister President. Been a while, wasn't it? I'm glad I can able to send you this because if not, you will not know our main goal... " She took the paper from the table and read it quietly in her mind before she continues, "Listen, I am not in favor of you being the President." She chuckles. "And you know the reason? You are not healthy enough to take the position. You lied to the people. You cheated on them and that's unforgivable. How can you still sleep despite knowing all of these, eh? I'm totally offended by this as one of the citizens in this country. I'm furious and disrespected at the same time in behalf of the public. So, I want to make a deal with you, if you don't want us revealing the truth soon, confess to the public. DO it your own. Otherwise, we'll take action."

And the video ended like that. Yoong breath out the moment it ended. The video is obviously threatening him and somehow what Hyo said is true. He had been living in the Blue House because of what his parents did. He felt guilty and ashamed.

Suddenly, it's hard to breath and he held his chest and breath rapidly. His entire body is shaking.

The more people know about the secret, the more it's killing him inside.

He got up and walk to his bathroom and search for his medicine that will relax him. It took a couple of minutes before he found the right medicine and immediately swallow it. He returned to his room, taking his time to relax and waiting for the medicine to take effect.

After a while, he completely felt good again but it wasn't enough for him to still feel worried. He left his room and search for his secretary and ask her to call trace the unknown number that sent the video from their IT team. She's fast and immediately handed it to their tech.

"Miss Kim, what's your thoughts about the video?" He can't help and ask for feedback about it.

"That's completely security threat, Mister President. Don't mind about it." Secretary Kim replied as she handed him a cup of tea.

Yoong exhale deeply. "I feel... guilty about it."

"Mister President, you-"

"I got this position by cheating and the people needs to know."

"I agree they need to but that will only cause a huge blow in your administration." Secretary Kim has expected that one day, he will open up about the secret. "What about the people that trust you despite knowing this? That's like betraying them if you give up this position. Mister President, I believe what your parents did maybe wrong but it has good sides too. You see, this country needs someone who is true to their job. A sincere person to serve the people is what this country needs not those dirty politicians that only think of their personal interests. Please don't give up with this country. We need you the most."

Yoong thought a while and it's still not making him feel better. "What if one day, they'll know? What do you think will the people's reaction?"

"Like I said, it will create a mess. The opposition will target you more on this and they will control the people. But I hope, it will be the other way around." Secretary Kim sighs. She had been afraid of the outcome but still hopes there's a miracle.

"Half of the Blue House Staff is not aware about this. It's stressing me out, imagining their reactions because I know it will not be fine." said Yoong, feeling frustrated.

"Just keep doing a good job. I'm pretty sure that will also affect the outcome."

"You think so?"

"If once have commit a mistake by someone's doing, it should be forgiven. At least for my beliefs."

"Aigoo, I don't know but I agree with you. I have to keep going. Stressing about this will only slow me down as a leader. That something shouldn't happen. The people deserve someone whom they can lend to and trust." Yoong took a sip of his tea and got up.

"In that case, relax first." Secretary Kim also get on her feet. "You don't have a schedule today. Forget about the video and let's focus on work again tomorrow." as she suggests him. "Go to the gym just like you're supposed to do."

Yoong's smile finally returned and he mentally told himself to comply, as it will help him relieve his stress.

After a warm bath, Seohyun had finally left the training grounds of their headquarters. She meets few agents and greeted them as she casually leaves to the parking lot before her phone beeps and she fetch it out just as she stood next to her car. Her eyes slightly widened up seeing the thumbnail of the video. She hastily stepped inside the car and play the video there. It's the same video as the President have seen but it was sent by the Blue House Chief Security.

We can't trace the video source. Can you help us?

After checking the video, she dialed her brother's number and the latter answered that instant. "I'm sending you a video Oppa. Please help locate the source of it."

[Wow, you did not even greet me.]

"Aish, I have no time for that."

[Fine. Send it to me now.]

Without further ado, Seohyun sent the video that was sent to her and her brother confirmed to received it.

[I'll get back to you in 24 hours.]

"Thanks." She said in relieved.

[Yah! You have-]

She just ended it right away and put her phone aside. She the engine and drives off immediately. She immediately just thought of the President. It had been a while since she last seen him in person. Just calls and texts was all their communication since she got focus on the training. She missed him and she wants to make up the days she didn't see him.

Just an hour of drive to the blue house, she immediately searched for him around but she found Secretary Kim instead of him. "Everything is alright, right?"

"Did the Blue House Security Chief told you about the video?" Secretary Kim raises her eyebrows. She could tell it's the reason the Agent is in front of her again.

"Yes. I received the video. I have to ask my brother to help locate the location of the one who sent it." Informed Seohyun as she looked around. "Haven't seen him also."

"He missed you too." Teases Secretary Kim.

Seohyun blink a couple of times and finally get what she meant. "Where is he?" But she didn't react to it.

"I know he is in the gym. But he probably left already there. So, check the pool." Secretary Kim can't help and wiggle her eyebrows.

"Sheesh." Seohyun ignored her and quickly left to proceed to the pool, which is just next to the gym. Security agents are still apparent around the Blue House and she's glad they're still on high alert. After Hyo and Ares has been revealed, security is at risk for the President.

Just a couple of minutes of walk, she arrives at an indoor pool but she didn't see any figure. "She played me." She thinks his secretary just fooled her that she turns to leave but she returned when she saw the bathrobe is on the bench with a salad on the table. "Where is he?" She definitely doesn't know because no one is present besides her. But before she knows it, someone emerge underwater which surprised the hell out of her. "Aish! Yah! You scared... " But she stopped when she recognized it's the President.

"Seo? Agent Seo?" Yoong recognized the person and quickly he hugs his bare chest. "What are you doing here?"

Seohyun's lips curved into a sweet smile. "I should ask you the same. How can you stay there for long?"

"I'm swimming. Aish. Turn around." Ask Yoong in panic. He can't leave the pool with her staring at him.

"Why would I?" Seohyun chuckled. She crossed her arms and stay watching him from the pool and teasingly smiling.

"I'm barely clothed. Tu-turn around now! Or just... Just throw the bathrobe from here!" Yoong stammers. He doesn't want to be seen yet again despite knowing she's his girlfriend.

"Aigoo, didn't I mention you don't have to be shy. I mean, you're my boyfriend. And I've seen you shirtless already." Seohyun took the bathrobe and she crouched down. "Just get it here."

Yoong sighs in defeat. "Turn around." But he insists while he started coming closer to her.

"I'm glad you're relieving stress here. It's good for your health."

"Turn around, Agent Seo."

"You don't have to stress out all day."

"Agent Seo please, turn around."

Yoong now stopped while looking up to her. He cutely pouts his lips as he begs for her to comply.

"Aigoo, fine." Seohyun stood up and turns on her back.

"Don't move." Making sure she won't cheat, Yoong slowly pull himself out of the water and grab the bathrobe immediately from her hand and wore it just a split second. "It's fine now." He gives her the cue and greeted her with a smile.

Seohyun turns to face him again but shake her head in disbelief. "One day, I'll take that off from you." she jokes.

"What?"

"I mean, where's my hug?" She opened her arms so wide as she asks for it. "I miss you; you know."

"I'm wet. The robe is wet." Yoong answered instead.

Seohyun scoffs. "Seriously?"

"You'll get wet too."

"You don't miss me?"

"Of course I do. But I have to dry myself first." Yoong innocently explained. "Wait." He walked to the table and was about to take the towel when his girlfriend got it for him.

"Sit." Seohyun commanded.

"No, I can handle it." Yoong tried to get the towel but the latter pointed to the bench. "Aigoo." And he got no choice but to comply.

Seohyun stood in front of him and began to rub the towel gently on his hair. "You can't hug me just because you're wet? You are really something, Im Yoong." she chuckles.

Yoong is fluttering as he let her do the favor. It's the first time someone at his age doing it for him. He is feeling really loved for the first time. He felt lucky she came to his life. He felt grateful and truly wanted to take care of her the way she is doing.

After a while, Seohyun bend her body and put her face inches away from him, stunning him. "Can I get my hug now?" She brightly smiles.

"I'll... I'll dry my body first." Yoona reasoned as his heart beats faster and cheeks slowly turning red. He gets up and was about to leave when a hand grabs his and he was pulled back.

"You are talking nonsense." Without further ado, Seohyun hug him. Arms are securely around his waist and face buried on her neck, smelling his favorite scent from him. Her heart is at peace being with him again. His heart beats, she missed listening to it the most. Despite that she isn't fully dry yet, she felt the warm she needed after the long day in the training ground.

Yoong took a minute before his arms encircled around her also. His eyes close to its own as he savors the moment embracing her. "I miss you." And finally, he told her.

"Being with you is my home." Whispers Seohyun, lifting her head up to see his serene face. She smiles and kiss his cheek before she returns to his precious neck.

"Really?" Yoong is overwhelmed hearing it from her. "What about your life in the U.S.?"

"You are kidding me, are you?"

"Just letting you know that you have a family there too."

"My words meant, being with you is home for me. Not means I forgot about my family that instant. You're seriously something." Seohyun can't believe he took that non-romantically. He really sometimes doesn't get it when she's being sweet and true to herself.
