The President 13: Hyo
YoonHyun Story 313 | Hyo
***
The night is cold but Hyo still finds herself having herself a drink in a random small restaurant just a couple of blocks from the Blue House. At first, she's enjoying it but the moment an unexpected guest came and took his seat across her, her mood slightly swings. "What's up, Agent Kim?"
Junghyun didn't answer. He just places the phone on the table and played the video in front of the fellow agent. He watches her expressions turned shock before he speaks. "Your answers earlier definitely goes against to this video I restored from deleted cctv files." He said in a cold tone while staring intensely. The video shows of Agent Kim leaving her own room to follow Agent Seo. But once she saw what's going on, she turned around, grabs her phone from her pocket and contacted someone while going back to her room in a hurry.
Hyo chuckled sarcastically. "What do you want to know?" She took a shot glass of soju and drank it one go, couldn't help and gets nervous the way Agent Kim is staring at her.
"I just want to know why you lied?" Junghyun pressed. "You were not drunk that time, you were pretending." He added, confidently. Agent Hyo's answer about her whereabouts that time was totally suspicious base on the video.
"Just ask me who am I talking to the phone." Hyo answered otherwise in a cold tone. "I think it's the reason you are here."
Junghyun scoffs. "Look who's talking." He also took a folded paper from his pocket and showed it to the latter. "These phone numbers registered into your call history are the same phone numbers the night the President was stabbed. If I'm going to give this to the Chief later, you and that accomplice of yours will be in big trouble. So, turn yourself in. I'm giving you a warning because I don't want to see another person getting hurt... " He wasn't able to continue his words when Hyo splashes the alcohol into his face and before he knows it, she runs away. He hastily grabs his stuffs and chases the Agent. Heck, he has to turn around when he saw Hyo stepped into the Presidential car drove off that instant. He hurriedly stepped into his car and chases her, while he is also dialing Agent Seo's number.
"Come on, pick up... pick up. Pick up!" He's getting impatient but keep his focus to Hyo's car.
Little did he know, the phone he is trying to contact is left behind inside the car.
-
Donghae grunted in pain as he finds himself being pressed against the wall. He tried to push Seohyun away but she keeps him in place while staring angrily at him. "I swear to God, I did not stab the President! My mission is only to get that manuscript." He told her again, as she keeps insisting he is the one who stabbed the President.
Seohyun is taken aback. "M-Manuscript?" But keeps holding Donghae on his collar while her one knee is in between his legs and keep pressing on him against the wall.
"I was only being ask to get the real medical records his parents manipulated. I have no idea about stabbing him. I only want to get what I am ask to do, nothing else." Donghae revealed truthfully. Being accused of hurting the President is totally offensive for him.
"Who are you working for?" Seohyun asked firmly, as she pushed Donghae hard again, not letting him go.
Donghae groaned and shake his head. "Don't think I could tell you." He pushed her but was pushed back again that caused his head to be bumped into the wall.
"Whether you stabbed the President or not, you still have to turn yourself in. You, obviously are a spy against the President." Seohyun seriously muttered and as she tried to drag him through his collar, he suddenly pushed her down and he escapes. "YAH! LEE DONGHAE! COMEBACK HERE!" She hastily chases him out of the room and one of the butlers tried to stopped Donghae but only to be pushed away. "Donghae is a spy! Catch him!" She announced so loud that quickly got the other's attention and it was easily spread around the Blue House.
Everyone in the Blue house including the securities from the gate, stopped Donghae from going farther through pointing their guns towards him.
"Hands at the back of your head and on your knees, NOW!" One of the Agent commanded.
Donghae cursed so loud as he complied slowly but surely. He looked down in shame and couldn't looked into anyone else's eyes at the moment. He blames and hate Seohyun for being there, he should have completed his mission.
Seohyun approached him from the back and took a handcuff and handcuffs the fellow Agent. "I hope you will answer us truthfully, Donghae-ssi. It's for your own good also, if you don't want to live in the prison for years."
Donghae laugh out so loud. "NEVER!" And screamed on top of his lungs, not minding all the judging eyes around him anymore. Now that he is caught, he doesn't have to fake everything in front of them.
-
"!" Cursed Agent Kim while still trying to contact Seohyun on the phone but the latter is not really answering. He unconsciously throws his phone at the passenger seat without ending it, as he turns to the right and keep his speed and focus to Hyo's car ahead of him. He would overtake the car ahead of her and so as him, trailing behind closely as possible. He keeps on checking his fuel also, making sure he wouldn't run out of it.
After at least 30 minutes of chasing, the traffic lights suddenly changed and Hyoyeon passed it before it changes. He literally punched the steering wheel and ruffle his hair frustratingly. "God damn it." He was no near and yet so far. He took his phone from the passenger seat and groan upon realizing Seohyun never returned his call. He has no choice but to send her a message before it's too late for another person to know who the real culprit is.
"Come on. Change it." For the second time, he punched the steering wheel and impatiently wait for the lights to change. Suddenly, something crosses his mind and he opened his phone back, then trace the car Hyoyeon is apparently driving. "Got you." a smirk formed in his lips once the dot is blinking. Hyo is not yet too far. But he needs to pass the traffic first before she gets too far and he can't able to catch her.
Moments later, it finally changes. He nearly broke the gas pedal as he pressed it too hard, not minding if there will be some police to notice his over speeding. He had to catch the culprit no matter what. There's no more delaying. Hyo could escape and they might fail to track her if he gets her away.
-
Junghyun nearly broke the fastest car if he doesn't have to slow down, because finally, he can see Hyoyeon's car - apparently parked at the side of the abandoned bridge.
Pulling over his car nearby, he opened his compartment and took his gun. He checks if there are bullets before unlocking the car door. Just as he did, Hyoyeon stepped out of the car and walked towards the railing. She faces the river, like she had something on mind.
Junghyun took a deep breath and slowly relaxes, as he stepped out of the car slowly but surely. His holding the gun down in both hands as he proceeds to approached her, one step at a time. Once he is near enough, he pointed the gun.
"I wonder what would President Im's reaction if her number one fan turns out to be the mastermind of the stabbing?" Hyo coldly utters without turning around.
"Just turn yourself in, Agent Hyo. You still have a chance to change your mind..." Junghyun warned seriously. "Put your hands at the back of your head and drop on your knees."
"You're talking about... hurting? Didn't he hurt you?" Hyoyeon meaningfully questioned, turning on her back to face her fellow agent. "Don't act like you're not a victim of his doings. You know yourself that he is as evil as those terrorists. Don't pretend anymore, Kim Junghyun." She smirks, she knows everything about the ever so quiet Agent of the President.
"You do realize that I am not like you, don't you?" Junghyun reacted with a smirk as well. "Yes... he did something bad to me... but I am not someone who would be so narrow minded."
"You used him, didn't you also?"
"I did, but that was the last time. Unlike you, you are full of hatred. How can you also pretend you like him when you don't?"
Hyoyeon chuckled. "There wouldn't be any fun. How are you asking me that when you also tried to fool him? What happened to you, honestly? Why did you stop your plan?"
"I'd rather stay quiet and stay away from him than to be close with him but has bad intentions. That ." Junghyun replied as he stepped one closer. "But you are far worse. Stabbing him as if it will change what's done."
"Sheesh, as if he knows what he is saying." Hyoyeon shake her head in disbelief. "Come on, just shoot me. That wouldn't change you as a stupid Agent also. Shoot me now, Agent Kim." She opened her arms fearlessly, inviting him to shoot on her chest.
Junghyun was about to react when he heard a car engine from behind. He turned and saw another car pulling over. Before he knows it, one guy stepped out of his car and just as he raises his gun, he was too fast to shoot him straight.
BANG!
His arm was hit. Junghyun grunted in pain and hold his right arm. He tried to shoot back but another bullet hits him on his opposite arm without mercy. He dropped his gun helplessly and tried to escape by walking on his back, gasping for air, but the pain is making him vulnerable that it's not easy to escape. And the fact that the shooter just keeps on walking forward while holding his gun straight to him is very dangerous for him.
BANG! BANG!
Two more bullets hit him. This time, on his chest. Blood is now pooling on his body as he had only one escape away; he struggles to go to the railing and before he could jump into the river, one bullet hit his fake leg that Yoon broke a long time ago. Everything is now so blurry for him. His world is starting to turn upside down as his face is so much in pain.
Enduring however all the pain, He jumps off of the bridhe and his consciousness is losing midway in the air, like his soul is leaving his own body. And it seems… it’s the end for him.
"Wow, that wasn't bad." Hyoyeon finally found her voice as she watches Junghyun's body splashes to the water. "But let's get out here before anyone could notice." She said as she ushers her accomplice to come with her.
"Wait, what about the car? You sent me a message that he has the evidences."
"Right. You're so smart, Yunho." Hyoyeon jugs to Junghyun's car hastily and got inside to searched for the evidences, including the smartphone that has the cctv video of her.
Yunho found the phone first and noticed it's opened. He took it and checks the inside, only then to find out something alarming. "." He showed the message to Hyo.
To Agent Seo:
Agent Hyo is the culprit.
"!" Hyoyeon quickly took the phone and she noticed that the message doesn't have any reply nor Seohyun has seen it. "I think we can still save ourselves." She immediately traces the number in attempt to get her phone. "What?!" Just to find out Seohyun's phone is apparently outside the Blue House.
"Wae?"
"It's outside the Blue House. Was she back from the hospital?"
"But she hasn't seen the message, right? She's probably out without it. Come on, drive us!" Yunho commanded firmly and he quickly grabbed his laptop from his backpack and quickly work on something.
"That ing Junghyun really give us a problem!" Hyoyeon muttered angrily while gripping on the wheel. "ing bast*rd!"

"Why am I alone?" Yoong asked out of the blue while sitting on the cushion with his right leg cross. He took a glance to his wrist watch and raises his eyebrows. "It's been 3 hours since she left. What is happening?"
Just then, Miss Kim walked inside the ward with a bright face. "Good evening, Innocent lover - I mean, President Im." As she greeted him enthusiastically. She skips and sat down across the bothered President.
"Why is Agent Seo haven't arrived?" Yoong did not hesitate and ask.
Secretary Kim blinks a couple of times and looked around. "Indeed. Why?"
