YoonHyun Story 3P A S S C O D E
***
Ever since she heard the news that her favourite Unnie is having a crush with someone in her class, Seohyun can't stop herself and be triggered about it.
She and Yoona had been friends since their parents are best friends. And since they are neighbour, it's easy for them to get along. So every time there's something that happens to her, she always knew. Unfortunately, this time, since her favorite unnie had been so busy with studies because she's about to take a major exam for her to be promoted to Senior High.
She, who had been aware she's not only seeing her Unnie as a friend, is not just curious about the news that spread around the campus, that someone from their class is Yoona's crush.
As much as she wanted to think it's her, she thought she's too overconfident with it, knowing that she has a lot of pretty and cute classmates and most of them also has a crush of Junior student, Im Yoona, the campus's famous student for being the kindest and the sweetest. Not to mention, the leader of Taekwondo team.
But as someone who is also busy with studies, can only hope it's not someone she doesn't like. That someone that's also famous, who is in her class, and apparently she's eyeing intensely from her seat.
"Yah, Seo Joohyun."
"What?" She just nonchalantly replied to her seatmate, who nudges her on the right side.
"Did you finished your assignments?"
Without giving her a look, she handed her green notebook and added, "100 Won." Her classmate automatically places the money on her hand that she kept right away on her pocket without leaving her gazes to their famous classmate. She just couldn't really stop suspecting, since she's beautiful, smart, athletic and really kind to everyone. Unlike her, who only love studying, reading books and playing with her dog. Well, sometimes, she go to Im's residence to hang out with her childhood friend, that's only if she's free to hang out with her. Now that they're in high school, it's limited for them now to hang out.
"Wow, you're really so brilliant." Her classmate praise, handing back her notebook. "Thanks, Nerdy."
One thing she also doesn't like, her classmates always see her as the introvert and nerd in the class, eventhough she doesn't wear glasses nor smarter than Seulgi, the classmate she can't take her eyes off at the moment.
"You are seriously going to exchange faces with Seulgi if you don't stop staring at her."
Suddenly, a familiar voice made her heart skips, but she hastily turned her body to face that person. "U-Unnie? What are you doing here?" Her cheeks really turned red upon greeted by a beautiful smile coming from the deer.
"You are going home early today, right?" Yoona asked as she smiled in amusement to the younger girl.
"Yes? Uh..." Seohyun suddenly couldn't able to continue her words as she started to have mental block.
Yoona took her friend's hand and gently drags her out of their classroom. "I forgot to bring my phone with me... But since I can no longer go back home with our trip later on, can you do me a favor?" She asked as she glanced to the classroom's door, making sure that Seohyun's homeroom teacher hasn't arrived.
"Fa-favor? What favor?" Seohyun mentally scolded herself, because when it comes to Yoona, she always stammers.
"Can you take care of my phone? Mom and Dad are out of town so I can't ask them. You are the only close friend I know that can do it for me. Either way, I'll be back tomorrow night."
"You-your phone? Why? I-I mean... C-can't you-"
"I am expecting for an important call coming from the University I have applied. So might as well, you can answer it for me?" Yoona gently held Seohyun's hands and give it a warming squeeze. "Please?" And she begs, softly. She's hoping the latter wouldn't mind doing it for her.
"You-you... Really have applied already?" Seohyun doesn't know but she felt sadden. "Just when?"
Realizing she made her friend sad, Yoona sighed as she also mentally scolded herself for not telling the girl. "Yes. I'm sorry I didn't tell you... I mean... I was too busy recently that I forgot to tell you or even pay you a visit. But you understand, Unnie, don't you?" She put on a cheerful smile.
"It's... O-okay. You don't have to apologize. I can't blame you. But what University?" 'Please don't tell me you are leaving for Seoul.' Seohyun unconsciously prayed about it. She held Yoona's hands tighter this time.
"Seoul University." A big smile broke in Yoona's features. "I'm planning to proceed my love in planes, just like Appa's first love. You know, pilot? Um, I know it's too early because I'm not even yet in Senior, but Appa told me it's better to be early than to join the bunch of applications once I am in Senior High."
"Are you sure?" The younger girl exclaimed.
"Yes." The deer chuckled, finding it adorable to see how the latter reacted. "I thought you know I've been collecting planes since we are kids?"
Feeling dumb, Seohyun looked away from the older and slowly let go of her hands. "I... I was... J-just surprise, U-Unie." And feeling embarrassed, she pout her lips and looked down to her feet. "I thought you are just going to study here. I mean, we-we have... C-colleges here also... U-Unnie." Her eyes are starting to water, but she gives her best to control them.
Yoona slowly reached for her friend's chin and make her faces her again. "Don't worry, I'm still coming back. It's not like, I'm already in college... I can't see you again... can I?" she flashes a reassuring smile, knowing she really made her sad because of her sudden application to a University. "So please don't be sad, Hyunnie."
Seohyun shakes her head. "I'm not sad." Fighting back the sadness she's feeling inside. "I'm happy for you, U-Unnie." Smiling brightly like she wasn't obvious she didn't like the news her crush is telling her.
Yoona didn't give any warning and she wraps her arms around her precious childhood friend. "It's not actually yet guaranteed because I'm still waiting for the call. If they don't call, then that means... I am not accepted." she said, rubbing her back slowly but surely. "Then that also means, I can still change my mind, right?"
"Unnie... " Seohyun clenched on her fists as she fights back the tears. Unfortunately, the more she does it, the more her chest gets heavy and it's unbearable anymore. Her hug is not even helping. Before she knows it, her tears are dropping from the corner of her eyes and she can no longer take it, as she sobs in the doe-eyed girl's shoulder. Her sobs are now catching attentions from students passing at them in the hallway. But she's too busy to mind her own to even care about it.
Yoona, she's quiet embarrassed but couldn't also leave the person who she grew up with. She's too important for her than her image.
'Aigoo, Hyunnie... ' It's also hurting her inside, knowing she'll be away from her for the first time.

"Ouch!" Seohyun literally cried as she held her head after hitting the ceiling of the car. "Ahh... " She keeps on rubbing it, gently as she could.
"You are finally awake."
Her brows raise as she finds the source of the voice. "Appa?"
"Who else?" Mister Seo rolled her eyes while driving.
"Oh." She slowly realized that she fell asleep at the backseat and her father is the one driving her home after fetching her from school.
"You had a bad dream, aren't you?" Asked in curiosity from Mister Seo, who made eye-contact with his daughter through the rear view mirror.
Seohyun sighs as she nodded. "And it's actually the truth." She leans into her seat, massaging the sore part on her head, continuously.
"Why?" Mister Seo noticed the silence from his daughter and her pout on her lips. "What is it about? Is it related to me or... To someone I know?" However, he can't continue watching her like that, so he teased his precious daughter.
"Yes." Again, Seohyun sighed, heavily this time. Her mind flashes back to what happened earlier. From Yoona's revelation about the University, her favour, to how she hugs again in front of her locker room before she leaves. It was all like she's already not going back with that hug and it's too heavy for her chest to absorb.
"Omo, what kind of dream is it this time?" A grin broke into Mister Seo's lips, knowing well his daughter is crushing on the deer.
"It's not good this time, Appa."
"Eh?"
Seohyun bit her lips and decided to share it to the only person who knows her feelings. "She's leaving me..."
"What the - where? Where is she going?" Mister Seo almost cursed.
"She's going to be a pilot so she needs to go to Seoul. I'm happy she's chasing her dream, but... I'm going to miss her. I'm going to miss her, Appa!!!" Seohyun whines frustratingly. "I'm not going to see her anymore... even though we don't hang out that always now. But I still can see her since she's our neighbour though. It's a different thing. And I can't... I can't no longer see her in the neighbourhood after she left. What am I going to do??? Appa, help me!!!"
"Tsk,tsk. Just confess, it might change her plan."
"How are you so sure about that?"
"Yah! Don't you watch movies or dramas? They always end up in the airport and the one leaving can't leave because of the confession."
Seohyun can't somehow relate. "Chincha?" And finds it weird. "I don't think that works in a real world."
"Seriously? Will you leave you find out that person has feelings for you?"
"Then what if she doesn't have the same feelings for me?" Seohyun questioned, earning silence from her father who can't find an answer to her question. "See? That's a lame idea, Appa."
"Then are you just going to let her leave without you confessing? You're not a Seo if you're not going to do that!"
"As if it was easy for you to get Omma." Seohyun smiled teasingly, earning a poker face from her father. "It's not about confessing, okay? It's about her leaving for her dream. Aish!"
"And you, being lonely without her? It's about your feelings that might be wasted?" Mister Seo strikes. He smirks victoriously when it's his daughter's turn to be quiet. "That's why; the best solution still is to confess. At least she knows your feelings, whether she loves you back or not."
