23 | Goodbye

"Aish!" Just when he is almost at the book store, it started raining. Yoongie immediately covered his head and started running at the side of the street. Covering his head however doesn't help as it soak him hard. It's also difficult to keep running when people are passing through left and right. He almost slip on his way if he didn't grab the post nearby. It didn't stopped him as he continued until he arrived at the store, just to see the lady who had been in his head, sitting on the chair while she's leaning into the table, using her arms as her pillow. She looked like she fell asleep waiting for him.

Without wasting time, he searched for his phone on his pocket but the moment he got it and tried to open, it suddenly turned off. He literally cursed under his breath and looked at the beauty before him. He decided to bang on the glass wall tried to wake her up by calling her name but it seems it's a sound proof store. Instead of trying to wake her up, he went to the entrance door and tried to open it as if it will help him without the key. 

"Wait, shouldn't I ask - No - No - I don't think that's a good idea." He shake his head so the thought of calling his secretary to ask a security agent to help him opening the door would be a good idea. It will only reveal him to other people if he does it.

Looking around, he couldn't spotted a phone number beside the book store's name. But thinking of his phone that won't open just made him groan in frustration. He has to find a telephone booth rather then. But in order to do that, he has to once again cross the rain. "No more time." He however doesn't think twice and once again run, as he searched for a telephone booth. It took half an hour before he found one and he hastily dialed the number he memorized. "Come on." Unfortunately, the owner of the store seems not hearing his call. "Ugh." He tried to dial it again and waited patiently as it rings and rings, like there's no tomorrow. However, his second attempt still didn't reached the owner. Due to her frustrations, she unconsciously punch the telephone and winced in pain in result.

He let out a huge exhale as he stares at the rain still falling hard like its a typhoon. It sends chill down his spine as he end up watching it helplessly. It felt like he can't do anything to get Seohyun out of the book store and that's making him sad at the same time. If only he is as smart as Yoong, he can think of a better way but he isn't him and it hurts.

Unconsciously, his tears fell from the corner of his eyes as he reminded by how helpless he is as a child. He only like to do something to enjoy the night by going to happy places and that he forgot to see what's the other side of the reality. He is just thinking of his self more.

Suddenly, the telephone rings that causes him to startle and snapped him out to reality. He doesn't know who's calling but he quickly took answered it. "Hello?" While wiping his tears off.

[Who's this?]

"Um, is this from the book store?" He ask and hoping.

[Yes, I am the owner. How can I help you]

Yoongie felt like crying after hearing it but he controlled it and answered back. "Can you come back? Um, my friend. You accidentally locked him inside, Sir." 

[Omo, I'm sorry to hear that. I am actually heading back. Can I ask for your patience? I'll be there less than an hour.]

"Thank you so much, Sir. No worries, I and my friend will be waiting patiently. Just please return to the store."

[I am. Don't worry.]

Yoongie smiled so big after hearing that assurance. He hang up and couldn't help but, "Yeah!!!" Shout it to the world. He felt good again and he eventually runs back to the store, to finally meet Seohyun with her eyes open.

"Yoongie!" Seohyun jolted up from her seat once he saw the doe-eyed, smiling brightly.

"I called the owner and he is now on his way here!" Yoongie happily informed but the young agent inside couldn't hear him.

"What did you say?! I can't hear you!" Seohyun gestures on her hands and signals through her ears.

Yoongie look around again to see if he can find any store that's open. But to no avail, there's one thing that crosses his mind, write in the air. "The... owner of... the store... is coming... to get... you out... there." He said while writing it with his finger.

Seohyun nodded in understanding and smile in amusement. She then took her phone out and wrote down her response through the device. When she's done, she showed it.

I'm glad you are here to help me. Thank you, Yoongie.

He smiled brightly and gestured an okay sign. But he once again wrote in the air as a response. "Are you okay?"

Seohyun never missed a word of his question and automatically had an answer.

I'm fine. But you are not. You are wet. You'll catch a coldcold if you are not going to change your clothes right away.

Yoongie shook his head in assurance. "I'm okay." And gestures an okay sign again.

"Stubborn." Seohyun sighssighs as she also shake her head.

"Are you hungry?" Yoongie ask with hand signals.

Seohyun shook her head and type down her reply once again and smile as she showed her response to the blonde doe-eyed.

I had a snack in my bag. You, I think you should go to a restaurant and eat some soup or porridge to warm you up.

Once again, Yoongie shook his head. "No need to! I can handle myself. You have to get out there first!" He forgot to write the words so he took time writing it in the air again.

Seohyun smile in amusement. She is flattered that someone is worried for her but she's more than worried for him since the next day, it's the president that will suffer. She has a strong feeling he'll catch a cold and wouldn't able to go to work ans that's worrying him. But to see Yoongie happy to see her, it slightly lessens her worries. "Okay, I will stop from worrying for now." 

Just then, a van pulled over in front of the store and a worried owner on his 30's stepped out of it, immediately rushed to open the glass door entrance. 

"Are you okay? I'm so sorry. I'm deeply so sorry for this." He apologize as he faces Seohyun in concern. "My mindset earlier was not on the place that I forgot to check if there are still costumers inside."

"It's alright. I'm glad my friend here calls you on time." Seohyun smiled friendly and warmly as she glances to Yoongie. "And I'm glad you also came back before I could end up sleeping here." she awkwardly jokes. "But I'm totally fine, there's nothing to worry." she smiled reassuringly.

"Hold on. Before you go." The owner hastily returned to his van and took the paper bag to give it to the young lady. "I bought you some buns on the way here. It will help you warm you up." He smiled sweetly.

"Uh, thanks." Seohyun had nothing to say but grateful with his gestures. 

"Do you have umbrella?" The owner asked in concern once again.

"We don't have." Yoongie answers this time. "But we can handle."

"Nada. It's on me." Quick, the owner left to his van again and handed them his umbrella. "I have two, you guys can use this." Before they can decline, he left them with a wave on his hand before leaving on his van. "You don't have to return it!" He shouted before he completely drives off.

Yoongie and Seohyun both looked down to the yellow umbrella then looked into each other's eyes with smiles on their faces.

"We can't return to the mansion with that either way." Seohyun said and she opens it for him.

"Wait, I'll hold it. You carry the buns." Yoongie transferred the paper bag right away as he grabs the umbrella. "Shall we?" He flashes a choding smile.

"Yeah." Seohyun doesn't have anything to say but to comply. She's hugging the paper bag on her chest while the doe-eyed is holding the umbrella for the both of them while they walk to the bus stop. "But we have to hurry, you can't catch a cold." She was reminded and she nags him again with a glare.

Yoongie chuckles. "How annoying."

"What?"

"Fine." Yoongie rolled his eyes as he accepted defeat. "Why can't you think of yourself for once, eh?" He sighs as he smiled.

"Yah, what's with the face?"

"Wae?" Yoongie creases his eyebrows.

Seohyun shakes her head. "Never mind." 'Yoongie is always that bright. What's up with him?' She thought as she sensed there's something wrong.

"I'm sad to be honest."

She literally stopped on her tracks and so as him. "Waeyo?"

"It's raining. We can't go to somewhere I thought would be good place for us." Yoongie sighs once again.

"A place?" confuse, Seohyun felt weird at the same time. "What place?" And she is curious. 'Wait, why suddenly it's Yoongie? I thought he will not appear anymore?' and she is also reminded by the sudden change events.

"Nah, we can't go there anyway. But at least in the Blue House." Yoongie grinned as his mind changes. He wanted to take the opportunity of the night while he is with her. 

"That better be a good thing." Seohyun can't help and gulped nervously. She doesn't know why but he seems up to something that will surprise her. And the fact that she hasn't told him about Yoong and her is making her anxious.

Yoongie giggles as he felt excited.
